    Precise Home Builders
There needs to be a distinction between the Precise employees and the sub-contractors that they used. The Precise office staff was responsive and Dino was good about the design and the layout. He made meetings on times and was helpful during the design process. The execution of the project and the work that the sub-contractors did is another story altogether. The sub contractors would drink alcohol while working on our house and would leave their beers in the house for us to clean up. The workers would use our toilets and would get urine everywhere (a portapotty was placed outside for the workers to use). Food scraps were left inside the house. This remodel had us living in another portion of the house while the remodel was taking place so we were directly affected by these working conditions. When we raised these concerns to Dino, his questions was "what do you want me to do about it? I can't watch them every hour of the day." Ultimately Dino put a sign up that told the workers to not do these things. Some days the workers would comply, most of the time I had to do a sweep of the house every single day that I got home from work to clean up after the workers. The subcontractor's project manager Sheron/Adolfo could not organize things in a coherent manner. Some of our walls were painted 4 or 5 times because they would paint without completing the patches to the walls or other work that impacted the painting. We had some workers who would tell us that corners were being cut and only after bringing it up to Dino and having arguments over it would things get fixed. We took to being present when the building code inspector was examining the house so we can know what the problems were and ensure that things were done properly because we did not trust the sub-contractors . On one occasion Dino expressed that the inspector was wrong and that he was not going to follow their instructions and that the inspector would never see what would happen because it will be covered by cement. I had a major argument with Dino at this point and told him to follow the building code inspectors instructions or I would be forced to call the Better Business Bureau as well as the County Inspectors. Finally, precise complied. The worst of the planning errors that impacted our remodel was the flooring in our kitchen. The drywall had not been completed in the kitchen but the stone tiles were installed and grouted. We expressed concern over the white powder from the dry wall getting into the grouting but was assured that nothing would happen and that everything would be covered up. We come home one day and find out that things were not covered up and were assured then it would be an easy clean up. The drywall powder had worked its way into the grout and could not be cleaned out. Precise then had to send multiple people out to clean the tiles. They were not successful and Precise told us there is nothing further that they could do. We did not want to have tiles with splotches of white and grey grouting. We ultimately had to hire our own contractor to remove the grout and regrout and seal the tiles which further delayed our project. Our project was only supposed to take 6 months but instead took almost a full year. Precise told us that there was a one year warranty on their work and we have had to make use of it many times for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. Even now we are dealing with some electrical problems.

    CL Simco Services
First and foremost, I would HIGHLY recommend Lance! Lance is a really great person. He's thoughtful , conversational and just an all around good guy. I like the fact that he charges by the Hour + materials, and only gives you an estimate after he's had an opportunity to assess the problem. He works very clean, and more importantly does EXCELLENT work! He quickly assessed and fixed our issue with the garage door and opener, then did an outstanding job repairing a plaster wall in our bathroom. After the repair he painted it so it blended in perfectly, you cant even tell that it was repaired. I'll continue to use Lance for any repair needs that I have around here!! Thanks Lance!

    Creative Innovation Developers Inc.
We wanted to add an additional room and bathroom to our house. We contacted Ben and was pleased how professional he is. We got an estimate from him after the initial research done to see what was available in terms of setback and everything. We decided to have him and his team do our addition. We can't wait to start and see it finish.

    Halo Roofing
Ron at Halo Roofing is one of the most valued professional who we hired for our house remodeling project. At our house, we needed to replace the existing roof and to remodel our kitchen. Rons price was reasonable and competitive compare to the other estimates that we got from other companies. More than that, he was able to do both projects at the same time. He was very patient with our changes at the kitchen design because this was our first remodeling project at that size. He also helped us a lot with the design and with all the hardware finishes. Because our house is an old house, we had some strange problems that Ron was able to solve them with great solutions. During the work, Ron visited our house site each day and he was always available by phone. We will hire him again without any hesitation.

    IND Construction Inc
We hired IND Construction for a complete kitchen remodel in my 1940 home. This is the second time that we hired IND Construction. IND Construction completed a fabulous main floor bathroom remodel for us two years ago. We were so happy with the results of our bathroom that there was no question as to which contractor we would use for the kitchen. David and IND Construction were our guys! David is extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions that were helpful and in tune with our taste. His workers are craftsmen who are well healed in their trades. They also were reliable, honest and trustworthy which is equally as important. Davids bid was very reasonable for our remodel especially given the quality and level of craftsmanship that he continually delivers. The project was estimated to be completed in 3 months and was actually completed a week early. We are thrilled with our new kitchen as you can see from the beautiful pictures! We have a master bathroom remodel coming up in the near future and you know who our contractor will be......David and IND Construction! Thanks again David!

    Splashes Paint
Just amazing. Anything that needed to be done he fixed and repaired for me. The drywall and stucco work is beautiful. Gus cleaned up a horrible mess left by plumbers, the tiles and foot hole thru the ceiling. Gus came in and made everything right. He even helped me select colors for the painting work he did. His crew helped clean up, immaculate afterwards. Price is amazing given the amount and scope of work. Very gentle with hanging of the mirror. I would definitely work with Gus again.

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
Jacob and Supreme Remodeling are the best!! Jacob was the project manager of our new room addition after we received the fantastic news that we were expecting baby #4.  We had outgrown our home but didn?t want to move because we adore where we live and we didn?t want to uproot our kids, especially during a stressful time like that.  We?re happy we chose Supreme Remodeling for the job!
Elaine was our customer contact and helped coordinate everything via the phone. She was wonderful! She always got back to me right away if she wasn?t available and answered any questions I had. She kept me informed of any delays or adjustments to the schedule (it poured down raining one day and there was just no chance at all to get the concrete poured).
Jacob is obviously very well versed in all aspects of construction. He helped us with the building permits and did a great ?walk through? inspection at the end of the project as well. His crew was mannerly, efficient, and clean. The same crew came each day, which made me feel better since they knew exactly what the project entailed versus new/substitute workers coming and going.
Since we had a timeframe to adhere to, which was about 2 months before our baby was due, so we could decorate, Jacob made sure to stay on schedule. The great thing about the crew is that they worked at least 9-10 hour days EACH day. They worked efficiently but didn?t rush the job either.  The trim work and carpentry is superb. Jacob showed me samples of a wider baseboard than I originally chose and am so glad I went with his suggestion! It looks great!  After it was all said and done, we love our new baby?s room addition and so does our new little girl!

    MF Construction & Design Inc
Mike Maman of MF Construction & Design has simply outdone himself! During the whole remodeling, he and his crew have been prompt, considerate and professional about the whole project as well as during the day to day activities. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The end result is also exceptional. I have received so many compliments from my family during Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend Mike Maman and MF Construction & Design.

DAG (Daniel) was not our first choice originally, but he was our favorite out of the 3 because he sounded very honest, professional and knowledgeable. The reason he wasn't our first choice was because the finish date he quoted us was the longest among the 3. So we decided to choose the one with the earliest finish date with low cost. However, after we met with our first choice, we found out the first choice was very pushy, non flexible and most important, he may need longer time to finish the job than he originally quoted us. So if it will take longer to remodel than we thought, we decided to go with DAG, our favorite guy among all 3. Once we decided to go with DAG, Dan started with the work. The demo started in Mid/Apr-2011 and the estimated finish date was around Mid-End/July-2011. During the time, there were changes here and there plus I added more work (for eg., replace all interior doors and entrance door), we moved in around Mid/Oct. During the demo, my husband and I started to decide what kind of style we wanted for our bathrooms and kitchen. But because both of us had no experience on designing and remodeling, so we couldn't decide on the materials. Dan went to the vendor with us so he could see the tiles in person. I described what kind of feeling I wanted and somehow, he was able to understand what I meant. Our guest bathroom was small so our shower cannot be too big. I do not like any continuous tiles smaller than 2and rdquo;x2and rdquo; so the design for the shower floor was a problem for me. Dan suggested a very good idea which is to have a border of 2and rdquo;x8and rdquo; tiles around the 2and rdquo;x2and rdquo; tiles so it won't look too mosaic like. Another thing is the vendor said it will take about 60 days for them to ship the 8and rdquo;x8and rdquo; tiles, they only have 8x16and rdquo; in stock, and Dan said he could have his tile guy to cut the 8and rdquo;x16and rdquo; into 8and rdquo;x8and rdquo;. I checked and the edge looked exactly like the original cuts (at no extra charge). As for the master bathroom, we wanted marble for the shower, floor and countertop, so Dan also met us at the marble slab place and gave us advise. As for the kitchen, Dan also referred us to another tile store and that place is absolutely wonderful. They have free designing service so Dan didn't go with us. Both bathrooms and kitchen came out more beautiful than I would have imagined. A lot of people tend to spend a lot of money on brand names and good quality materials but use cheap contractors to save money, but I think that is totally incorrect because good material needs good people (people who know what they are doing) to put them together. One thing I forgot to mention is his carpentry guy and ndash; Antonio, he did most of the bathroom vanity and kitchen cabinets for us. I had certain styles for my vanity and closet so I sketched out what I wanted and amazingly, everything look exactly the same as my drawings. And Gabriel, he's like the advisor (a shy guy), he is good at everything and he's very responsible. Both Antonio's and Gabriel's work were very professional. As for our molding, half of them had a old style look and half had a modern look, so I had Dan to take out all base and crown molding so the house can look unified. In the beginning, they had misunderstood what I wanted but they immediately took it down right after they saw my face. Dan quickly grabbed the molding book from his car and had me pointed out what I want. With lots of patience and listening, they were able to make the style I wanted. I felt bad in the beginning but became comfortable because they never push me to make any decision right away so they can finish their job. Dan even told me and ldquo;it's ok, we are suppose to do make the house to what you want.and rdquo; Dan taught them not to only do a job, but also act like an artist, paint and step back to take a look if it looks good. I can tell they really like what they are doing. For the new windows we ordered, it was raw with nothing on it. One day I came to the site and saw 4-5 men standing around the window, so I took a closer look, they were cutting small pieces of wood from the frame and rubbing the pieces away. I asked Dan what are they doing, he said they need to cut and clean the frame so when he prime/paint it, the frame will have a clean look. My husband and I were like and ldquo;WOWand rdquo;!! Seriously, with our knowledge, any contractor would have cut the corner and paint the frame/window without these extra steps and we would not have known or realized. We ordered 12 windows and each window have 6 panels in it. That's one of the reason why his time frame is longer. Even though if there was some delay, it was worth the wait. And lots of time, Dan will explain the procedure of their work, in the language I understand, not the language of contractor. For eg., he'll explain the procedure of hot mopping, how the doors are made from scratch, how Antonio will cut the vanity, the procedure of sanding the floor and putting new floor, the procedure of installing the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, etcand hellip; So whatever they were doing, I know exactly what they are doing. I heard from families and friend that their contractor just do stuff without telling them how and why, and really don't know if they cut the corner. I am sure Dan didn't cut the corner on ours. And plus, he really gave us a lecture and ldquo;Restoration 101and rdquo;. I heard many bad stories from remodeling but I had a really good experience with Dan. I had fun and learned a lot from him. I'll say if you have time and if you have no experience and knowledge on remodeling at all, you can trust Dan. Dan is honest and flexible to changes. In case you made some bad decisions, Dan will actually let you know and pull you back to the right track. Lots of contractor will do whatever you tell them to do since to them, this is just a job, but to Dan, this is his art. He really treated my house like his own house. He really cared about his work. His mentality differs from other contractors. When our relatives and friends came to see our completed house, everyone of them were amazed by Dan's work. We are so glad that we chose him to be our contractor at the end. The only problem is that sometimes, Dan gets really busy, so it may take him longer to quote you. However, it is definitely worth the wait. Great Workmanship! Highly recommended.

    Angora Coatings
They did a lot of work. It was excellent. They were good. They were very clean and tidy. They picked everything up. I was able to talk to them whenever I needed, to find out what was going on. They were always available to talk. When things went amiss during the process they were very helpful. I would recommend them very highly. He was very fair in price. We discussed whenever there were changes and when I thought it was too much we negotiates. There was a death during this time. They were very respectful of the house and this persons things. It made a difference.
