    California Construction Center
I hired this contractor for room addition and I am very happy with final result. They added 2 rooms to my home and job they did was top notch. The quality of work was superb, workers were friendly and professional and they cleaned after themselves every day. Highly recommended company, I will definitely work with California Construction Center again!

    Precise Home Builders
Precise did a great job ultimately and delivered a beautiful home for us. We knocked out a wall, did a balcony, put outside stamped concrete in, extended a room, put a new powder room in, redid the stairs, refloored the house, and closed in a room upstairs. We were very prompt with our payments and in return they stayed on schedule. Near the end we made our final payment even though there was more work to be done. Once the owner of Precise found out about the work it was done within a week. We had problems with the air conditioning, plumbing, and other things and precise always came through and fixed it. All of the little details that we complained about they addressed and fixed them. If it is in the contract, you can trust that they will get it done and do a great job of it. Unlike other contractors, they had someone working on our house almost every single day. No excuses. Once they started, they attacked it. The new kitchen is modern and beautiful. They are extremely good at holding your hand through the process. They helped design it and came up with alternatives to make us happy whenever an obstacle got in the way. They worked with us closely on decorating and design decisions. We definitely would recommend them, but do your homework before getting bids. As with all construction, quite a few things came up that required us to spend more money. They way underbid on lighting (underbid by 17 lights), never mentioned that we would need cork (add $4,000)under our upstairs flooring, created situation that forced us to redo backyard concrete to get proper drainage($20,000), killed our backyard grass, ruined part of our sprinkler system, they mentioned they could do a few different design items that were left out of the contract and later re-mentioned as change orders, and we had to pay extra $4000 for relocating a pipe that they missed in the original bid. In their defense, none of the change orders were listed in the actual contract so I was forced to pay the extra amount. My disappointment was that most of the change orders were something that should have been in the original bid. I had to pay for my ignorance. Overall we are still very happy with the Precise staff as people and LOVE our new home. If I was more diligent in the initial contract reading I could have avoided a lot of the issues. I am told by others that all construction contractors do change orders and generate more revenue, but I was not prepared for it and at my absolute limit on spending. This is the only reason we gave them a 4 star and not a five star. Their work and the people themselves are five star most definitely. Cannot complain at all about the actual job itself. They did a fantastic job and were an absolute pleasure to work with . We always felt like they paid immediate attention to us. They made us feel like their only clients. They really made us feel like they wanted to make us happy and meet all of our needs. We plan on doing our bathrooms in the future and we will definitely be having them bid the jobs. We would not hesitate to work with them again. Ultimately after all said and done, you will definitely be happy with their design, construction and finished product. I will let you know that I have already recommended them to two different people I know getting their kitchens and bathrooms redone.

We hired Shawn and his team to build our second story addition. Right from the get go Shawn has been honest, professional, and very easy to work with. Was there to explain the entire process thoroughly and made everything clear to us each step of the way. Our finished project came out better than expected. Amazing job! Thank you and we wish Shawn and his team all the best!

Elaina was great. She answered all of our questions and really gave us a realistic idea of what goes into building a home and what it could cost to build a home. If we go forth with building our dream home. We will definitely reach back out to Elaina.

    MY Home Builders Inc
Starting the project in December, accounting for the holidays, we were promised a completion date of April 24th. (4 months). That date was to pass final inspection, and there was additional time to actually complete the project. We did not actually complete all items until just last week, making it nearly 7 months to fully complete. The good news was we could move back into our house mid-April while the other items were worked out. We had an unusual situation where we lived in our RV in our backyard with 4 dogs while the project went on. Call us crazy, but its not easy to relocate with 4 dogs. MHB was aware of that from the beginning and how anxious we would be to get back into our home as soon as possible. We were told that work would happen 5 days a week and sometimes 6 to complete the job asap. That didnt always happen, and we do feel there were unnecessary delays, but even having said that, I will still give MHB a 5 star rating. Overall, we are very happy with our home, the quality of work and feel that we received quality work for a fair price. Having less than 10% in overages (some for items added on our part) is considered very good on a project of this size. I will not lie and say all was smooth sailing. There were definitely some rocky spots along the way. Even so, I am giving MHB a 5 star rating. Even when those rocky spots came up, Yaron did see things through. He did not back away or give up like some other contractors would probably do. We had an unusual situation with the ceiling and it took him several attempts until it was satisfactory. He stuck with it and saw it through. The MHB crew including George and Joe were great to work with. The other tradesmen, sub-contractors and workers overall did a very good job. The most frustrating part of the entire project was working closely with our assigned project manager, Sharon. Rather than go on about the bad experiences we had with the one person from MHB, I will just leave it at this do yourself a favor and ask for any other project manager other than Sharon. Yaron has a great eye for design and he helped us in several areas. There were a couple of items I wish I would have received more design assistance with. There was some miscommunication about the design help overall. By February we enlisted the help of someone at the tile & granite shop because we did not hear from MHB other than to start looking at tile. By March we hired someone to come out to give us a 1-2 hour overall consultation on placement of tiles, paint colors and those type of things. A tip from me would be to put in your contract when someone will give you that help and take you shopping to help guide you along. I think this comes up for most anyone and that is not having enough one-on-one time with the person that you actually signed your contract with. It wouldnt be reasonable that the contractor is on site each and every day. That was not our expectation. Put in your contract how often you will meet with the main contractor throughout the process. Yaron is a busy guy and it wasnt easy to be able to meet with him for what were important matters to us. Had we known he was coming each week it would have helped us out a lot. There were ongoing issues with removing debris and keeping the site clean as reasonably possible. This may not bother most, but living in the backyard and seeing the site on a daily basis this was important to us. Especially with our dogs walking around it was important that nails and sharp items were picked up. If this is an issue for you, then note it in your contract. When it came time for paint we did have many issues that came up, even aside from the ceiling I mentioned above. To have the construction work done so well and have the construction on a level of 4-5 (on a scale of 1-5) to then realize the painting crew was not a painting contractor who would give us a nice custom paint job, we were let down there. No, the contract did not specify a painting contractor would perform the painting. It was an assumption and definitely a lesson learned. If I were to ever do a project like this again or any advice I would give is to detail the paint portion of your construction project. Detail down to the type of paint, how many coats, samples, who performs the work, etc. Jose the painter was a very nice guy and wanted to please in any way he could. Even so, in my opinion, his skills were not up to par with the type of paint job I feel this project deserved. His painting techniques left streaks, unnecessary paint lines and those sort of things. When I would point things out he would tell me just tell me and Ill take care of it. Honestly I dont want to tell you, I expect you to know. I spent a lot of time overseeing the paint and still there are a few items here and there. I was told I was being picky. I believe I had a reasonable expectation to have perfect, or nearly perfect, paint job. My house is like new. I dont want to look at even minor paint issues for the next 5+ years until the next paint job. We had to have our own wood floors installed. I would have preferred that this was part of MHBs contract. Doing it that way there was some delays at a crucial period of the project. Take the time to go through things like this on your contract to truly understand what the items you are taking on and leaving out of contract will mean to you. Ive mentioned a few areas that were not the best experience. I think its important to include those in the review. To expect that everything will go smoothly just isnt realistic. Even so, overall we are very happy with our new home thanks to MHB, and especially Yaron. They are true professionals and good at what they do. Yaron will take care of you. I will recommend MHB to anyone looking for small or large projects, and that says a lot.

The diligence, attention to details and care they provided me were outstanding. The project was completed sooner than they told me it would be. Everything was returned to better conditions than it was before.

Rare gem these guys are. Most times dealing with contractors is a headache but what I liked about this team is that they handle everything under one rood. They handled everything from permits, plumbing issues, electrical work and the overall master bedroom and bathroom addition in my home, all I had to do was sit back and relax.

I was actually recommended to them by a friend, she had hired them for a kitchen remodel, and the work was excellent. So when she found out that I wanted an extra room added to the back of my home she told me to give them a call for an appointment.
As soon as i decided do hire them, they were on top of it all. Not only do they do Construction but they help out with the Planning process as well. Chris, was very patient and helpful, he was in constant communication with me the whole way. Although, the city may have taken a little longer than what I expected; as soon as it was approved, Chris and his team started at the site right away. They do as they say! They will definitely make you happy! Thank you Chris, for a professional experience.

Wow! I got lucky this time.  After two devastating and costly failures, I finally found a contractor (Tony) that cares, both about the quality of his work, down to the smallest details! Tony works with you in every step of the way, he was referred to me by a friend who had some work done in his house, I was so happy with Tony?s work that I had him completely remodel my kitchen, including: tile flooring, custom cabinets, plumbing, a water heater, creating a bar area, hardwood floors, paint and recess lights in my living room and the bedrooms. Everyone loves my kitchen especially my wife (A happy wife equals a happy life). Due to his exceptional
work I thought it was necessary for me to write this review. In conclusion, I highly recommend Tony to all in need of construction and remodeling.

It went very well. They began work on time every day to begin work. They were very conscientious to keep the work area clean by putting the sheets of plastic to tent the area where they were working so dust wouldn't fly all over the house. They left the work areas reasonably clean after every day.We were very satisfied with the end result when they got the job finished we were very happy with the work they did. We would definitely recommend their service to others. They finished the project on time. We had a situation where there were several broken tiles in the shower and they were very prompt in coming back to fix the broken tiles. On a negative note, the supervisor promised that he would come by about half-way through the job and said that he would come by when they were finished with the project to make sure everything was done correctly, and he failed to do so. He had only come by on day one to get a deposit from us, and then did not stop by again after that. He was very slow in getting the release of lein form. We had to continue to prod him and call him, he kept saying that he had already done it and that he would still do it, and every other excuse for us to finally get the form.
