    Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business despite the fact that my Yorkie received a good cut. Their way of doing business leaves me unable to trust them and, in my opinion, clearly involves false advertising.

    received the attached photo as an email. Based on this, I scheduled appointments for my daughter's two Yorkie Terriers, and my one Yorkie. We assumed since it was terrier day and Yorkies are definitely terriers that we would pay the advertised $35 dollar special. Wrong. We wew told it was "mixed" terrier day. I did not bring the ad but explained there was nothing in it stating it was only for mixed terriers. Too bad. They then said they would reduce the price to $44 but that was it. My daughter is on a much more stringent budget so she declined. Reluctantly I agreed because my schedule made it impossible for me to choose another date and groomer.

    When I returned home I double checked the advertisement. The only reference to mixed terriers was the following parenthetical statement (extra fee for larger mixed terriers). When the ad is titled in two separate places "Terrier Day" and it never states that it is just for mixed terriers I felt justified in calling them to challenge the fee. They asked me to text a photo of the ad, which I did, and then told me that they would reduce the fee to $39 if my daughter wanted to bring her dogs the next day. I confirmed with my daughter and set the appointment. When I arrived to pick up my dog I was told I still had to pay the $44. I said I thought the reduction should apply to my dog as well since they were changing it for my daughter as a result of my call regarding their ad. I was now told the reduction had nothing to do with my call but, rather, a fee reduction due to the fact she was bringing multiple dogs...something never previously mentioned. When I again challenged the price as the ad clearly referenced terrier I was told yes it was for terriers and I had a Yorkie. I responded that Yorkies are terriers just as Wirehaired, Fox, West Hyland and Silkies are terriers. I was next told that they were sure it said mixed somewhere to which I pointed out that a reference in parentheses to larger mixed terriers serves as an addendum not a clarification of which type of dog. They refused to even listen....not my idea of how you treat customers. I would have had no problem if they acknowledged there was an error in their email communication, that it was supposed to state mixed terriers day, or if they apologized for any misunderstanding, as my anger was not that I couldn't afford the fee charged. It was their customer service in which I was supposed to just accept their false advertisement as my problem. As a business owner who relies on a good relationship with my customers, I would never treat them so cavalierly and with such little respect. It would have been so easy for them to just apologize for the error and say that this one time they would honor the ad and make sure that in the future they would make sure to communicate more clearly. Alternatively, they could have apologized, explained what they meant to communicate, and say they were issuing an updated email correcting the error. I would have been okay with this as well. Instead, I am left feeling like I will never trust anything they say or write and that if they are willing to treat their customers with such little respect, how could I ever trust them with my dog.

    It was a great price and the actual groomer's name is Laurie, she's wonderful, everybody there is wonderful and our dog who doesn't want to be in a vet's office is always happy to see Laurie, that's kind of cool and we've only been going there for probably not even a year and in which it felt like we've been there for years and we were treated very well, we just met her within the last year and she only gets groomed maybe 4 times a year. We like Laurie very, very much. The dog is relatively new to us, she's older but she's new to us, she got shots there but we haven't had anything else yet, they were average cost shot, I wish it was less but it's sure as adopting a humane society where the shots came with the dog and there's nothing you can do about it. They were fine, the doctor was nice, I love the reception people, the office manager remembers us and she's wonderful. We've only seen the doctor once so I can't really speak about him too much beyond but he seemed fine. They put her up on the table, put a little rope that holds them around her neck and clipped to the table so they can't jump off, they were working with scissors and shears and you don't want to hurt the dog and as far as I know she's good and she's still and she's always happy when I pick her up.

    I have been taking our dog here for over a year for grooming and boarding. They are very loving with all the animals and their customer service is excellent! I highly recommend this business!
