  • It was okay but I just didn't like the way they did things- having to wait two weeks just to get a part and fix it. They asked me for full payment right up -before they had done anything, I questioned that and they were like I have to pay it all, it wasn't right. The second guy that came out to fix it was fine- he was nice. There was nothing in particular wrong but I just didn't like the first guy. I would never use them again. The company wanted me to show them the insurance and they were pushing me about what else I wanted done before I could even make an appointment..

  • The technician was very professional and quick.  We chose to try repair it ourselves because it was a little pricey to have them fix the problem.

Michelle, who answered the phone was very friendly and informative.

    Thank you!

  • I called Larry on the 28th and told him the door stop on our refrigerator had snapped off.  He asked for the model number so he was sure to get the right replacement.  He called me later with the price of the door stop replacement and price of labor.  I found his quote very reasonable.  He arrived on time. He removed the refrigerator door, replaced the door stop and reinstalled the door.  He charged us less then his quote.  I was not home at the time, but my husband was.  After Larry finished and left, my husband told me he was sure glad that I joined Angie's List.

  • I called Spensers Friday morning the 21st of December.  I was told the repairman would arrive between 1:00 and 4:00pm.  I received a call from  their office at 4:00 telling me he was running a lttle late and should be at my home by 4:30.  He did not arrive until 5:45 while we were having dinner.  He did not apoligize for being late.  It took him less then 5 minutes to find and fix the problem.  He told us the price was $109.95. I told him that was ridiculous and that on their website it said the average price was $69.95.  He said ok and changed the price on the bill to $69.95.  I was upset that he was late without a phone call telling me he was running late and also the first price quoted.

  • Appliance Parts and Service operates a store you can visit.  That is very important when working with a mobile field tech, because you have a commercial place of business to go either before or after the sale.  In other words if there is a problem, you don't have to chase someone operating out of just a pickup truck.  Accountability means a lot these days, and this firm does a fine job of proving it.

There are two Steves; one handles the shop and the other handles the field service and repair.  I have met both.  Steve running the shop does absolutely amazing restorations on vintage appliances.  I recommend a walk through the store to see his impressive work.  I have ordered repair parts from the shop in years past; and if they can't get the part I doubt any commercial firm could.

For good reason this local business seems to be doing well, even in this economy.  I am glad to recommend them.

  • It was a very good experience. The technician's name was David Frederickson. They did a great job. The price included 2 services calls and the part. The part itself was $53 so for 2 service calls I was pretty impressed with the service and time that he spent. The refrigerator appears to be working great. I would recommend them. I would definitely use them again.

  • 23 year old washing machine began leaking into the tub. I called early in the AM and left a message for a call back. I received a prompt call back, and the repairman was out within 2 hours. He replaced a part that contained the solenoids for the water flow, inspected the machine, cleaned it, and provided the failing part. He also inspected the fridge and cleaned the compressor.

  • The customer service rep was helpful and pleasant. The repairman came within 24 hours (I'd been on hold with Sears for over a week and then postponed once again) so I was really impressed with Covina Appliance's response time! Everyone was professional and courteous. I recommend this company and will use them again.

  • The repair people called me back and asked probing questions about my problem. I took their advice over the phone and it solved the problem. The repair company did not charge me anything. I will use these people again.
