    Morgan Construction
Excellent. Morgan was on time and budget, and the owner was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and always willing and available to discuss the project and problem solve. Morgan and their subs were great.

    Cosentinos All About Home Repairs
Alberto arrived exactly when he said he would, and suggested a much better solution than my idea - a flat piece of plexiglass to cover the whole, through which the meter could be viewed. No need for a complicated hinge, and no possibility the meter reader could break it while trying to read the meter. Alberto widened the hole (for easier meter reading), created a custom size piece of plexiglass, and did a very neat installation, leaving no mess. Very quick, no nonsense, no hassle, just the way a small job should be handled. Alberto will be my first call for any future handyman needs.

    Rem Pro Remodeling
Kevin is very detailed and takes pride in doing a great job. He knows the building codes and performs his work accordingly. He is well versed on almost any home repair including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, sheet rock repairs, etc. I would highly recommend Kevin and have used him on previous jobs. He is very punctual and works usually on one job at at time rather than spread himself thin on many different jobs as many contractors do which always makes the jobs delayed.

    Cosentinos All About Home Repairs
We did a kitchen remodel & the cabinets were (unfortunately) of inferior quality & the initial installation was done very poorly (cabinets installed crooked, doors crooked, the product itself although theoreticaly "finished" looked unfinished). Alberto spared no effort to very detailed work adding trim, straightening the doors, reinstalling a particularly problematic corner door. He really made the best out of a bad situation (it turns out that if the initial instalation is screwed up, there si only so much you can do to remedy it - but Alberto did it & we were pleased). It is worth mentioning that we had three other handymen performng various work on these cabinets & on other matters, and Alberto was by far the best. I should also mention that Alberto also noticed other unrelated minor issues (e.g., faulty installation of a gargbage disposal) & corrected them as well. His rate is $150/hour & while that is more than most, we think he is worth it.

    Baron Construction & Remodeling Co
We found Baron Construction on Angie's List and couldn't be happier.  We would highly recommend using them for your next home improvement project.  Josue and the team impressed us from the first day.  When Josue came by to scope out the work, he was able to provide us with an estimate on the spot and even an initial write up of the contract.  He even provided us with a folder of documentation which included information on their license, bond, and insurance.  The work on our project started a few days after we signed the contract and it was completed within the 2 week estimate of completion.
The team's commitment to quality and our satisfaction were always a priority.  Josue was in contact with us during every day of the project, and he was even onsite most days.  The workers did a great job covering up all the surrounding areas so it wouldn't be impacted by the work on the room.  They also made sure to leave the work area clean and tidy.  We were also very impressed by the amount of items they were able to accomplish on Day 1 (teardown ceiling, check for leaks, install ceiling, install recessed lighting, and tear out of carpet).
Overall, it was a great experience to work with Josue and the Baron Construction team and I wouldn't hesitate calling on them again for our next project.

    BD Home Improvements
Originally, we called Bruce to get an estimate on building a new master bedroom closet as the previous owners of our house had ripped it out during renovations. Bruce surpassed my expectations because of the quality of his advice: He actually advised us to save our money for a more full scale bathroom/closet renovation down the line and just use IKEA wardrobes at the present,  rather than put in an awkward fitting closet that would eat into the size of the room. He could have charged us thousands of dollars, and we might have paid it, only to have wondered whether we made the right choice. Instead, he gave us honest advice on what he would do in our place, and why our ideas might be flawed.
We ended up hiring Bruce for a smaller job instead - to plug up a hole in the ceiling used for attic access. He arrived on time, and finished in 2 hours. He did a bunch of extra stuff, like plug up other holes and imperfections in the ceiling, and the work he did was neat, creative, and looks fantastic.
He also recognized that as new homeowners, we feel a bit overwhelmed by all the things we could do. He gave us great advice on all sorts of things:
    1. Focus first on 'securing the perimeter' - he told us how to get high quality doors to replace the old, flimsy ones currently in place.
    2. Always withhold 10-30% of the money you owe a contractor until you feel fully satisfied with every detail of the work.
    3. Make a list of nice to dos, and have to dos and prioritize it before jumping in
    4. Do one room at a time so your whole house doesn't become an unlivable construction zone
    5. Be careful who you hire to do work for you!

Bruce also volunteered to teach us to do some things by ourselves, like installing crown molding.
Overall, the quality of his work and depth of his knowledge were invaluable to us in settling into home ownership. We frequently find ourselves saying, "Remember what Bruce said!" He truly is a guru!

    JOHN'S FURNITURE & CABINETS
We were very pleased with John's ability to listen closely and respond to our desired outcomes for our kitchen. Moreover, he helped develop and refine many of those ideas and, in fact, was able in at least a couple of instances to make very valuable suggestions to our contractor about related lighting issues. John was timely, cooperative, efficient, and consistently friendly. Woods were very clearly selected with care, wood finishes were of the highest quality, and John willingly returned to the job when we asked him to address a couple of minor glitches. Hardware used in the cabinetry was heavy duty (as the contractor volunteered with admiration). We felt we received a product not only of the highest quality, but a product of the highest value. We continue to receive many admiring comments about the cabinetry- and the custom-built table- from our neighbors and guests.

    Cavdar Molding Architectural Trimwork
Mr. Cavdar came over quickly to give me a bid. He answered all my questions, he was my third bid and I was impressed with his answers and choices. The product he works with is high quality, thick, strong and paints well. I had some extra prep work to do so he was professional enough to inform me to prepare my home before he did his job. He and his wife are the team. They compiment each other in every way. She is at his side to make sure everything is on target, measurements, corners, design, height, all the stuff that make my house beautiful. I dropped a bomb shell on them twice about doing more work and they were kind and accomodated me. I also went into a meltdown about the height of the baseboards (from the floor) and they helped me finally come to a decision. Every day I enjoy the work that they did. I really love the choices that they helped me make. They work they did turned around the look of this tired home. It shines now after I had everything painted, Mr. Cavdar gave me helpful hints for the painter and the molding joints which turned out great. As you can tell, I really like this team. I enjoy their work everyday.

    EKB Kitchen & Bath Remodelers
Very good overall. Professional, customer-focused, quality work. Customer service =A. However, they promised the job would be completed in 2 1/2 weeks, but some scheduling difficulty with the contractor and plumbing inspection and the job took 1-week longer than expected.
