    The gentleman who came out to look at my home and explain what was involved in central heat & air was very knowledgeable and thorough. The company was responsive to my request for an estimate. My objection is that they did not give me a price.When we were done looking over the house and reviewing various creative options, he explained that once all my bids were in, my next step would be to call them and get a price from them which would be valid for that time only. I chose to go with a company whose bid I could mull over a little longer.

    They've been very, very good, actually. They've done a very good job. In fact, we have a contract with them for continually servicing our equipment. They do plumbing and they do air conditioning and they do the furnace. We have a yearly contract and it's actually pretty low. It's $167 for the year, but that doesn't take care of parts and labor if they repair something or something has to be fixed. They go through and give it a certain amount of testing and make sure everything's up, like the freon; it's not freon they use now, it's something else. They test the hot water heater and drain it and look at the plumbing. If they find things that need to be done, then they have a fee that I pay them for the parts and the labor for that. The price has been reasonably good. I think they're like everyone else; when the do extra things it isn't really cheap, but it's not cheap work either. I do a little bit of jockeying with them whenever there's something else that needs to be done. I make them justify what they're saying and why. All of us, I think, can stand to save money as consumers.

    This crew (Frank, Steve, Andrew, Aguna and Jeff) was so knowledgeable and professional, very respectful, asked where we wanted things mounted which created a great atmosphere. They worked so hard and efficiently with each man having his own task - very coordinated. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    I have a big filter. It's an allergy type filter, it's about the size of a small box. It looks like an accordion. There is a little cage that holds it that sinks into the ceiling. They installed the filter into my cartridge. I installed the cartridge into the ceiling of my house, myself. They've done that several times. For what I know of them and the way they treated me, they've been very good. They've been around since 1941 or 42. They're fourth generation family. They were one of the few ones I could find the filter with. I went into their building. In their building, they were very responsive to me and they were very punctual. They were very punctual about getting that filter put together for me and getting me going. They were very friendly. The service was great.

    Our system now works much better. Heat is more even through the house. We felt the old system was too small for the house, but it was just poorly designed. The system was not getting enough oxygen. We have had numerous other repair people in to work on the system over the years. No one mentioned numerous problems. We are delighted with the improvements. Another company offered to do less work for a higher price. Their offer would not have solved the problems Burgeson's found. It is really nice to deal with people who know what they are doing.

    Provider informed me that I was stupid for having my air condition unit inspected because it was winter.  Then told me that it was going to cost 5,000 dollars for having it remounted to the roof.  I did not do this.  It still on my roof and running fine.  This was a waste of money.  A gimmic to get you to pay more for something you dont

    I needed financing I new the day the salesperson came out that I had been financed. It was great dealing with this company would do it again in a heart beat.

    Our furnace would not turn on so I had to make the call.  I checked Angie's list to see who was on there and I was happy to see that Ballard's was one of them.  I called them up and they came out on Monday (called on Saturday).  They were on time and found the problem right away.  Our old furnace had been install incorrectly and was not a goner.  Told me I needed a new one and the price.  Told them to go for it and they replaced it that day.  Love their service and would highly recommend them!

    I have been having trouble with my water heater pilot light going out. A company called Ben Franklin Plumbing working in the Inland Empire area (Now called Right time home services) installed a new water heater in January 2014. Just recently the pilot light in the water heater went out. Matthew from Right time came out and charged me $140 for a diagnostic. You would think after paying $1000 to put the water heater in they would be more inclined to fix your problem since I have not had this unit for more than 8mo. NOT! HE basically said we had low gas flow to the house, which was shutting the pilot off. I had the gas company out and they said gas pressure was excellent and it appeared the thermal coupler was bad. I called Rheem (MFG for water heater) and they promised to send free parts  (which they did) and they would get an authorized service provider to me. I was told DOVE plumbing would be coming out. Well I never got called. (See DOVE plumbing reviews and I now see why they are graded F). Out of hot water for 4 days, I logged on to Angie's list and found Penny Plumbing. They responded quickly and I now have hot water. YEA! So pleased with their service, I asked to have my furnace unit serviced, so I bought a coupon from Angie's list.. They also responded quickly. They told me they found my gas to the furnace unit was shut of. Interestingly enough, Matt from Right Time home service was up in the attic  checking gas flow and did not bother turning the gas back on to the furnace unit. One could only wonder if this was accidental.
    I am absolutely happy with Penny Plumbing Co. They seem very honest and do not try to over charge. Very Very pleased with this company.

    Tory & Miguel arrived on time.  Polite and personable. They were done in 5 hours.  Cleaned up everything and left the place looking better than when they arrived.  Explained how everything worked.  Very pleased with their work.
