Auto Service reviews in San Bernardino

Took the car in to be serviced in the morning, received a "loaner" car to get back to work, then picked up the finished car that evening. Everything went smoothly and I could not be happier. Thank you, Tom Bell Chevrolet.

I brought my car in with a torn up bumper. :-( Ray and Shanaz worked hard to make sure the job was done right! My car looks like new! I couldnt be happier with his service and will return for future auto repairs. Thank you so much!!!!

Dave's Auto Medics is a good one. He is pretty expensive and that is one reason I never use him but he does good work. The quality is very good. He is very honest. They will shoot straight with you. They aren't the cheapest in town but they are very good.

For the twelve years I used them I have had both good experiences and bad experiences with them.  They damaged a hub cap and they said they would replace it and they never did.  They once did an oil change and did not enter the tub and the oil leaked out.  But usually they do good work.  On the surface they seem professional, but when it comes down to it they don’t always to follow up with what they say.

The service was for oil change only but when I went in, they did a break inspection because the breaks were making a noise and they did find that my back break was cracked and this is on a 98 GMC 2500 van and its not like those simple breaks you take off the pads and replace but you replace the entire circular thing on both sides. The experience was great just like its always been.

I always bring my vehicles for any type of repair to East Highland Auto Tech. They are a AAA approved facility and provide discounts on parts and services performed just for being a member of AAA. on 07/10/14 I went in to have the oil changed in my 98 GMC Savannah which has 190,000 miles, they started the service right away even though most of their team had gone to lunch they still took care of me in a timely manner, I had stated i was going to wait for the service to be complete and drive off immediately, they even completed a complimentary 40 point inspection. Great service, I highly recommend East Highland Auto Tech to anyone who needs any type of vehicle service or repair.

I went in for an oil change, and wound up getting a 30,000 mile service job.  Then they told me the car needed a rack and pinion job.  After only 31,000 miles they billed me $1,300 for this job.  By the time I was out the door it was raised to $1,600.  On the first day I waited all day in the lobby.  They offered me a free rental, then wanted $9 for insurance, $22 for gas, and $50 deposit.  I asked for a shuttle ride instead.  I waited from 9AM to 3PM for that.  They failed to repair my car that day, informing me they'd ordered the wrong part.  At 2PM the next day I found that they'd also installed a filter, that the day before they'd told me I didn't need, so they'd subtracted it from the bill, but there it was again.  I'd already had a really bad day filled with other hassles.  So I just paid them and left.   They acted like they were doing me a big favor by reducing a charge on some service by about $50.
I thought Honda cars were supposed to be dependable.  I thought, since I'd purchased 3 cars with Rock Honda, they'd take care of me.  I had the feeling I got righteously screwed.  I'm thinking of trying a Ford next time.  I'm also going to look for better service elsewhere.

His full name is Mike. I started working with him when he was just by himself, and he has since grown. The reason why he has grown, is because he is an amazing person, and his prices are really good. He does phenomenal work there, and he has gone out of his way to help me. I am sure he also had new tires, but I go there for the used tires. He is not very far away, so if I have a flat tire, I just go to him. I think he is professional, but some people may not think he is professional, because of the place he is at. It is very busy. He himself as an owner is very professional. I will always use him in the future.

Dave Anderson is a very down home, honest businessman.  I had such a good feeling that I wasn't being taken advantage of by a mechanic like sometimes happens.  Its just a great place to have my car worked on!

We found this business on Angie's list but later my husband reminded me that it had been recommended by another honest car repairman that retired. My moms 93 Buick was having problems backing up and some difficulty shifting. The shop is old and a little shabby but Sergio is a very honest repairman. He took the car for a drive figured out what was wrong with the car and very quickly fixed it with a minimum of cost and fuss. He also does oil changes as well as the transmission work. I highly recommend this refreshingly honest tradesman.
