    EXPERT HARDWOOD FLOORING
VERY fast and on my schedule! Flooring and molding looked like it was in a magazine. I was so impressed that I had them put water proof laminate in the Family-room that I didn't think I could afford, but the wood had been so under my budget I could get it done also. All was done in less than a week.

Alfie was the contractor. Alfie has a great team. They work hard all day. Don't let Alfie touch anything. He is a great person, but is a bull in a china store when it comes to hands-on. Let his guys do any work. Trust Alfie's ideas as he does know what he is talking about; however, if you have something specific you want, use it. Don't get talked out of it. Do your research before you get started. Check prices, products, availability, materials, colors, etc. Have an idea, know measurements, where you want or don't want things. Alfie and his team can take a little longer than expected, but they will get things done right the first time. Alfie will go out of his way to find what you want. He will go to the store with you to help you choose materials or fixtures, etc. Alfie is like family now. I would definitely use them again.

    Sage Interior Inc

Back in late January of 2015; our home was effective by water damage from our Master Bedroom toilet.  It took me 4 months and 12 contractors before I found Sage Interiors.   What a god send literally.  Late April I met with 12 contractors to go over and discuss the damages and timeline to when the work could be completed.    You can always tell a good contractor when they come prepared and turn off their phones and give you 100% of their undivided attention.  Majid gave me that and more.  He was upfront and honest.  He did not give me any lines to win the bid.  He came in we chatted I guess it was a feeling out fest between us both.  We both asked a lot of question and we laughed a little we shared information that was useful to both parties.  Mr. Karim (Majid) asked if I had schematics from the insurance company and if it was okay if he took some measurements and additional photos so that he can give me fair an accurate bid. And he asked if I had any before photos of the home prior to the water damage.   I liked that about him it showed character to me (the other contractors did not take additional measurements or any additional photos.  I asked if they wanted a schematic to review for a quote and some took it and others said they could quote without it).  As a person who works in the Procurement world who deals with contractors on a daily basis I know when someone is feeding me BS.  This was not the case with Sage Interior.

That evening I spoke to my husband about the meetings with the different contractors.  All I could really think about was my experience that I had with Majid and that the others did not compare to him nor did there before and after pictures of their work, once I saw their work I knew this was a no brainer.  All the other contractors talked about was how much was the insurance check and we can make it work by cutting some corners or they could use some of the damage materials from the demo; it won?t be perfect but we can make it work.   Those types of comment were RED FLAGS because the company that did my demo made a mess and I was very concern on how the finish product would turn out.  Service Master did the Demo and the Demo required a Demo (avoid this company like the plague).   I told my husband that I really liked Majid and that we should go to his website and review his work.  I received 4 bids out of twelve.  Majid?s bid was the highest but I did not care.

I contacted my insurance adjuster informing him that I receive a bid back and I and that I would forward the paperwork over that evening.  They asked me to get a few more bids but I declined because this was my home and I was not settling.  After a couple of weeks going back and forth holding my position with the insurance adjuster he gave in and gave me the additional money to use Sage Interiors. The longer I did not budge the more money the insurance company was coming out of for our living expenses. At this time we have been displaced for over 4 months.

I contacted Majid and told him that it was a go and that I wanted to know when he was available to start the work.  We set the date of May 4th one week from getting the okay from the insurance adjuster.  I asked Majid approximately how long he thinks it would take and he said you will be in your home in two months.  I said okay may 3 for unforeseen problems he said no 2 months.

I scheduled a day for my husband and I to go to his local design center to pick the materials to get the project going.  I am a women that knows what she likes and want so I picked everything that day. Majid was very patient, knowledgeable about all the materials and he was cost conscious as well (meaning making sure you stayed within your budget by giving you additional options to work with but good options nothing cheap looking).

May 4th, the beginning of a great working relationship; throughout the project there was constant communication with Majid and I He always kept me  informed on what was going on there was never no surprises( well a couple good surprises - Yea!) or slowdowns on production.  Majid and his crew worked fast but with precision no corner cutting.  I would drop by unannounced and you would never know it was a construction site they clean-up every evening before they leave, they were always working no slacking, you would not find trash all over the place;  very impressive, professional great personalities.  The main two guys that worked on my home was JR (Forman) and Salvador all I can say is AWWWWE-SOME very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their skillset and trait.

If you are a picky person about your home as I am Sage Interior is the company to go with.  After the water damage our home was gutted, we were very sad because we had just finish remodeling the home less than a year ago and have to have it all torn out it was dis heartening.

After Sage Interiors came in and put their STAMP ON IT.  It looks like we bought a brand new home.    I hired Majid and his crew to come back and paint the outside of the house.  Loving It!

If you are looking for a General Contractor Sage Interior is the company to go with.  Majid and his staff are willing to make you HAPPY.  I am very picky.  If I had to do it all over again Sage Interior is on Speed Dial.

Thank you Majid and staff for giving us our home back.

    CARPETS BY DUANE INC
They did come back to remove some padding in a door threshold that was preventing the door from closing.  They were also able to help us find a product to also denature (deoxidize) the entire areas as the previous owner was a cat breeder. Their response to this was fine. The selection of carpeting could have been better.  Their pricing and payment options were good and this was one of the main reasons we went with them.  The carpeting has also been good about keeping its loft.

    Compare Carpets & Hardfloors Inc
They were fabulous from the start. My
bathrooms have needed work for years, but I put off getting estimates because I
was afraid of what it would cost. Due to a leak in my downstairs bathroom, I
    couldn't put that one off.
I called Compare Carpets and Hardfloors for an estimate for vinyl in the
one bathroom. I told them what I was looking for and Jay arrived at my house
armed with samples of exactly what I wanted. I found a vinyl that I loved. Even
though I wasn't ready to do the other work, I asked if I could get an estimate
for a sub floor in one bathroom and vinyl floors in all three. It was way below
what I was expecting. I asked what tile would cost. It depended on what tile I
chose, but Jay gave me an approximate price.
I mentioned that later I wanted to replace toilets, vanities, light fixtures
and shower doors. Jay recommended a contractor his company frequently works
with and suggested I call him for an estimate. Instead of pushing for a sale of
tile, which would make his company more money, Jay suggested it would be better
for me to go with the vinyl and get the other stuff done, rather than getting
tile and waiting on the rest.
I called the contractor. It turned out I was able to do everything, including
tile. Jay invited me to the showroom, where I selected a gray tile. A few days
later, I changed my mind and asked if I could come back and look at the browns.
I was torn, because I really loved the pattern on the vinyl, but wanted
the quality of tile. The vinyl had both gray and brown.
Due to my work schedule, I needed to come on a Saturday. Jay wouldn't be
there, but he assured me whoever was there could help me. A guy named Mike
was there and was very helpful. I picked out a brown tile.
Jay ordered the tile and coordinated schedules with the contractor. The plan
was that the contractor would do all the other work, then Compare would lay the
tile. I threw a wrench into that plan by choosing vanities with legs for all
three bathrooms. Now the contractor would tear out the old vanities, Compare
would come in and lay the floors and the contractor would come back and install
the new vanities. They never made me feel like this was a problem.
The installers were pleasant and hard working. The day they installed the
upstairs bathroom tile, I noticed when I came home from work that a piece of
tile was loose. I mentioned it to the contractor when he arrived the next
morning. I thought I would have to call Compare, but he said he would let them
know. By the time I got home, the installers had already been there and fixed
    it.
This company was a pleasure to deal with.  Jay looked at my needs and
instead of hard selling his company's more expensive product, he looked to help
me get the most for my money. He even gave me tips for painting. It turned out
that I was able to do it all, including the tile, so it was a win for everyone
    involved.
Now I have three beautiful bathrooms.  Well...almost. I still have to
    paint.
Jay handled all the coordinating with the other contractor. The plan was that the contractor would install everything and Compare would then come out to do the floors. I threw a wrench into that plan by choosing vanities with legs for all three bathrooms. Now, the contractor would rip out the old vanities, Compare would install the floors and the contractor would install the new vanities.
They never made me feel like that was a problem. Jay and the contractor worked the schedule out together. I really appreciated that I didn't have to keep calling back and forth between them.
The installers were pleasant and hard working. I noticed one tile was loose in the area where the sub floor had been replaced. I mentioned it to the contractor the next morning when he arrived. I thought I would have to call Compare, but he said he would let then know. By the time I came home from work that day, the installers had already been out and it was fixed.

    Laminate Floors
It's so nice to find a company that tells it like it is.
From the moment my wife and I walked into the showroom we were given facts that we need to make a good informed purchasing decision.
No games, no high starting price with lenghty negotiations. No pushing us into a particular brand.
We were a month away from being able to make the purchase due to having new windows being installed first.
There was no pressure to buy and the price was the same when we called back to order the carpet.
The owner came out to measure on a Sunday morning and was helpful and informative.
We put our deposit down and scheduled the install to be done in 2 weeks.
They called to confirm appointment a few days before coming out.
The day of install 3 workers showed up on time and were courteous and professional.
I had woke up really early and decided to tear out all of the old carpet and pad before they arrived so all they had to do was final prep on the floor and lay pad and carpet. I also repaired a few squeaky areas upstairs.
They were able to complete all of the work in one day.
I highly recommend that you do business with this company.
We will be using them again for our kitchen and bathroom remodels.
