    It was fine.  They were here April of 2014.  The workers were fine.  I'm really not that pleased with the blinds because they're a little on the chintzy side, they're not good quality.  The price was reasonable I just thought I was going to get more for my money.  The servicemen were very good.

    They are owned by a couple that are wonderful to talk to and the installer was excellent. There was one guy that came out and took about an hour and a half.  We had a set of blinds he fixed at no charge.  I'd tell my friends to go for it.  Their service is really good.  One of the blinds had a defect and broke after a few months and they came out and fixed it at no charge.

    We had seven blinds installed to begin with.  They were competitively priced and the installers were friendly and
    professional.  Some of the windows had the remote control power.  These are still working well nine months later.  Because we were so happy with the blinds and their service, we  called them back to install more of the same in the living room - about eight more blinds.  One or two of the handles needed to be replaced.  They ordered these handles and brought them to the house to attach them in a timely manner.  We really appreciated this prompt service.  I would definitely use the Blind Spot for future needs.

    After seeing the grades that BC received on Angie's list, I at first wasn't going to consider them. Then, however, I read the reviews in detail and concluded that no grave problems with the company's quality of work were reported. It was mostly complaints about delays, which - if you do a lot of renovations - I have fully come to expect. So, I thought I'd give them a shot, especially after John (the owner) was extremely courteous and knowledgeable at his store and since his estimate came in considerably lower than the two local competitors that  had bid on the project. John was very patient while I considered other bids, changed my mind on the type of blinds as well as installation (which required him to come out again to remeasure) and changed my timing from November to late February. The blinds were installed 3 1/2 weeks after ordering by Robert, a very meticulous installer who did great work. One blind turned out to be too wide, he took it back and it was installed at the correct size two weeks later. At two of the total 4 appointments (2 measure, 2 install), they ran a little late, but always called at the appointment time to let me know. All windows look great and the blinds work perfectly. If I have any criticism, it would be that John as well as Robert were overly optimistic in their estimate how long it would take Hunter Douglas to manufacture the original 9 and then fix the 1 blind - maybe in future it would be a better tactic to underpromise and then overdeliver on something that is not under their control. However, as I said in the beginning, I have done enough work on my house to fully expect delays with any projects and plan accordingly, which is why I'm giving them an A overall.

    Mark came out to do the estimate.  He was on time and did not pressure me in any way...he had good suggestions and tried to save me money in ways that he knew he was allowed.  It took a couple of weeks from time of placing order until products were able to be installed and the Installer was also punctual, knowledgeable, and worked straight through until installation was completed (3 hrs).

    Steve Geiger was originally referred to us by JCPenny. We've had him out to repair our traversing drapes twice in the past five years or so. Both times he arrived precisely on time, did the work quickly, and charged a very reasonable fee. Definitely recommend.

    Our experience with The Blind Guy couldn't have been better. The salesman Mark was so helpful in showing us the different options there were to choose from; he even picked the colors for the shades! Installer Chris was prompt and professional. We would definitely use The Blind Guy again (but I think the quality of the Hunter Douglas shades won't require it) and I am happily recommending them to friends and neighbors.
