Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came highly recommended to me by someone I trust. His employee was the one that did all the work for the person that referred me to his company. The scheduling took awhile as they were very busy on a project in Tahoe but we made it work and
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
showed up on time.
After getting several bids for the same project, I immediately noticed that
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the most thorough with everything he wanted to look at, measure, and ask me about our project, which I appreciated. He took about 30-45 minutes doing everything and talking with me about the things we wanted done. I provided him with some plans I had drafted and he left telling me he would get back to me in about 10 days.
That was the last I heard from him. The sad part about this is I liked him the best and he already had a leg up since he was referred to us by someone we are very close to. If his bid was the same cost or maybe even a bit more, we WOULD have chosen his company.
I have seen his employees work in person and it is AMAZING so this review is strictly based on the fact that I never got the bid I was looking for not received any sort of follow up from him. I have since tried to reach out to him and have still received no response. Unfortunate.

"Job started OK and then turned bad. 70% of floors were installed when a worker got glue on his shoes and walked all over the newly installed floors. After much hassling the floors were pulled up and reinstalled with new boards and some of the old boards. As the job neared completion another section of floors was damaged and the whole kitchen and dining areas were pulled up and again reinstalled. During the construction the workers made little effort to contain dirt, dust and construction debris. At one point the sawed sheet rock in the house which left a fine white powder from ceiling to floor on everything in several rooms. We are currently filing a claim with the State Contractors board as the manufacturer of the flooring material sent an inspector to look at our floors and stated that because of the installation was done improperly the floor warranty would not be hon9ored. We have boards that are rippling, edges turning up, sections that are uneven, and whole rooms where the boards have started bunching up and rising at the seams because sufficient room was not left at the edges of the room for expansion. Overall our floors are a mess and will need to be completely redone. I might add that the workers that did the work were not regular floor installers but workers hired off of

"During laying of tile in both bathrooms, the lip of the baseboards was removed. We either could sand baseboards or have them replaced. We opted to replace because previous painter didn't sand before painting and they were awful looking.

"*I will continue to use him, as long as he is in business.
*I have use
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
on 4 other major projects around our home and trust his work. I appreciate his communication skills, great feedback and his work ethics. There is never a crazy mess to clean up after a project and he has wonderful common sense.
* He/we built a custom shed in the backyard which looks more like mini pool house with natural light from carefully placed windows.
*He/we built a custom trellis in our side yard for sun protection.
*He/we traded the original front and kitchen doors for great new doors.
He/we remodeled our outdated hall bath and now have a show stopper!
**We are wrapping up now on a master bath remodel, along with updating the rest of the house.
(lighting, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, closets)
We will be booking him for some patio and another shed building project soon.

was recommended to me by a friend. I called
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and he responded in a timely manner. He made an appointment to come to the house to discuss the job. He was prompt, professional, attentive and very respectful. I was under some time constraints and he made every effort to accomodate getting the job done by the deadline I needed. He even worked late into the evening one day to ensure all was complete. I did not have to worry about anything after
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
started the job, he ordered the windows, got the stucco repaired and the wall texture and paint taken care of. He took great care to clean up every day.
I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and his attention to detail. It is obvious he takes great pride in the quality of his work. Every day he would discuss what was done and keep me informed on the progress.
I was very happy with the end result and would recommend him heartily.

"Removed walls, installed walls, removed built-in entertainment center, created closets, hung doors."

"I was really pleased with the planning process.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
worked with me to help me decide how we could accomplish what I wanted within my budget. He was very flexible and informative.
They began work on the dates as planned. In two bathrooms we did a moderate amount of work, refinishing the cabinets, changing out light fixtures and mirrors, changing flooring. In the master bath we did a complete remodel. Everything turned out very nicely and I thought that the work was done in a reasonable amount of time. Along the way,

, his son, are an incredible team.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came to my home by himself the first time to write up a proposal, but he told me very soon into the visit that he wanted
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
to have a look before we got too far into it. So we walked around the house, starting the tour with the large crack in the high wall just below the beam, a thin zigzag creeping slowly down toward the stair case, ending with a prolonged examination of the balcony floor from the perspective of a ladder in the garage with and peek holes in the plaster, its slider, its drains, its history.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
got his flashlight and spent forty minutes there. The biggest thing I noticed about him during that first walk through was his skill at listening. This must have been near the end of May, 2013.
I had talked with a few other general contractors, one of whom actually prepared a detailed and well-documented proposal several thousand dollars above R&R's contractual bid which I considered seriously. I learned much about the house and about its maintenance from this process. I noticed, however, that
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
spent much more of his time listening and answering my questions, much less of it telling me what I should or should not do, as competitors had done. When I asked him for options or suggestions, he gave them freely, and he weighed the pros and cons.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's inspection of the job was revealing. I could see immediately that he wasn't taking anything for granted. By that, I mean he was looking at everything to see the work through the eyes of the guy who would climb the ladder and swing the hammer. We can't say enough about
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
, his work ethic, his skills, his talents, his breadth of knowledge from ceiling fans to sliding glass doors. He is truly a perfectionist, adept at listening just like his dad. One thing about R&R that makes it outstanding--both
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
do much of the work.
We put our furniture in a POD in the driveway on June 10, using another Angie's List moving company (A Better Move--a great outfit in its own right).
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
started the job on Thursday, spending Thursday and Friday tearing off siding and looking at the depth of the dry rot (we weren't in too bad shape). On Monday
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
(
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is another high-caliber guy--everyone
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
brought into the job was phenomenal) began in earnest. They started on the backside of the house, ripping off bad siding and trim, replacing the siding, using pressure-treated fir for the trim.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
had
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
install the laminate floor in our loft (
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a visual artist in laminate--use him if you want some laminate installed). The old carpet came out, the new came in on one Thursday.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
painted and painted and painted (
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is an artist, too, a careful and patient and precise painter who is a master calker).
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
are fine people in addition to be excellent workers. They made sure that they picked up to the extent possible each day. They swept up, and they were sensitive to our needs (helping us get the furniture out of the POD and back in the house as early as possible, for example). All of the subcontractors and
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
,
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
, and
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
were just plain nice people--friendly, trustworthy (we never worried about the house when we had to leave).
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is very responsive to texts and emails as well--sometimes it is easier to contact him via text than via phone, but he is very accessible on the phone, too. I texted him with daily updates through a lot of the work, and he was highly responsive to my questions and concerns. Once he even texted me about a topic and asked if I had any questions or concerns.
The POD is long gone, the furniture back in place, pictures back up on the walls.
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was just here an hour or so ago to do the final odd things--put down a piece of quarter round between the new carpet and the slider (
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
didn't like the gap there), water test the balcony (drum roll...), button up the plaster holes in the garage ceiling under the balcony, do just a tad bit more calking. Last thing he said to me as he walked out of the garage was "Just let me know if you have any problems."
Would my wife and I hire this amazing hands on planner and his masterful son again? In a heartbeat. (I'm sure we have not seen the last of R&R :) These people are the best!

"I purchased the Angie"s List Coupon for "8 Hours Contractor" work.
I waited over one month for the date scheduled by the company, which was acceptable.
I was told they would be at my home at 9 AM on Monday, March 25, 2013. On the date of service promised, I called the company at 11:00 AM to find out when they would arrive as scheduled. I got the distinct impression that my job was forgotten and if I had not called them, I would have not heard from them at all. I was told that “
Roseville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was in the ER last night…” Then I was told, “I forgot thatI had him scheduled for a job.” After two phone calls I was told that they would try to get someone “out there” and they would get back to me. I did not hear back from them. I understand that things happen, but there was a total lack of communication on their end.
