    I have been going here for about fifteen years. I had initially found their service when they were located in the AAA approved garage. I later discovered that Paul Brow, the owner, graduated from the same high school as me. He also teaches automotive classes during the nighttime in our community. Being a long time customer, they also offer a cash discount. I would recommend them to others.

    • I went to CarMax after work without an appointment (they are open quite late into the evenings--which is convenient) to get an appraisal of my 2004 Honda Accord. I went in and was greeted by a CarMax representative and assigned to a Carmax sales associate who explained the whole process. While my car was being appraised, the sales associate explained the other services that CarMax provides and their advantages over other car dealerships. The sales associate was informative but not pushy so it was a very pleasant experience. After about 30 to 40 minutes from my initial visit time, the sales associate gave me a very detailed written appraisal that turned out to be higher than what a Honda dealership offered me the next day. I am very satisfied with the appraisal process and would not hesitate to recommend Carmax as the first place to visit if you want to sell your car. In the end, I did not sell the car to Carmax but I would have if I didn't get a competitive offer from the Honda dealership (the written appraisal from CarMax helped me get a higher offer from the dealership, but if I didn't I would have sold it to CarMax).

    The servicing went well which is always the case when I have my car serviced at Longo. We have been purchasing our family car from Longo Toyota for the past thirty years and began having routine maintenance and any other needed servicing done there for the last twelve years or so. When I make an appointment, I request the same service consultant each time. He asks how the car is running and does it have any problems. I answer his questions and that is that. I have no fear that he will recommend work to the car that is not necessary and do not have to worry that he will try to talk me into doing any work just because I am a female. In addition to the service consultant, the estimated time of completion is on target and the estimated cost is also. I have never had to return because there was a problem with the work done. Also, when I take the car in for an oil change, they check the tire pressure and conduct a visual inspection and will add any fluids that may be running low without any cost to the customer. You can also ask for a free car wash. Affter each visit, you are provided an opportunity to express any complaints you may have. . By going to Longo Toyota, I feel our family car is being well maintained. In addition to the above comments, the facility is customer friendly. There is a very large temperature-controlled waiting area; they have a Starbucks and Subway for any "needy" person, and they provide shuttle service within a certain mileage perimeter. They are open Sunday through Monday. They are also involved in community events. I would say they have a top notch management team who tries to keep their customers coming back and leaving with a smile.

    Overall it went very well. I had a coupon to get a discount on the 60k mile major service which included services such as replacement of the AC and cabin air filters. The waiting area at Longo Toyota is one of the best in the region--free Wi-Fi and business center area so I can use my laptop on a table. There's also a Starbucks and Subway so I can get drinks and eat lunch while I wait. The service was done on time as expected with no unnecessary repairs recommended.

    Overall it went very well, the pricing is competitive with other local auto mechanic shops and we get genuine Honda parts and fluids plus they specialize in Honda/Acura (and also Toyota). Everyone recommends this auto mechanic shop because they are known for their honesty and quality work--and they continue to do so--they have not recommended any any unnecessary repairs like I experienced at a local Honda dealership.  I will be going back to Arcadia Ultimate for future auto servicing needs.

    Although they charge slightly higher price than the well-known Honda dealership that I used to go for the 10k mile service, Arcadia Ultimate provides honest service--for example: during my last oil change/maintenance service at a local well-known Honda dealership back in September 2010, the service manager said I would most likely need to change both the front and rear brake pads during the next service (after 5,000 miles). For my recent service at Arcadia Ultimate in January, they said my brake pads were at 50%--this confirms my suspicion that the well-known Honda dealership lures people in with below-average prices for routine maintenance, but then try to gouge customers by recommending unneeded repairs (see my earlier review about how Jeff said my shocks were not leaking fluid as claimed by the dealership) or recommended replacement of brake pads much sooner than needed. I will continue having my Honda serviced at Arcadia Ultimate because I like the fact that they are honest.

    I went to Arcadia Ultimate Automotive and Jeff inspected my shocks thoroughly and determined that my shocks were fine. He noticed my tires had uneven wear and needed to be replaced soon (my car has 75K miles with original tires) and he gave me some advice on where to buy the tires (his shop doesn't sell tires). He did not charge me anything for the inspection and did not try to take advantage of me--he could have just replaced the front shocks without doing the inspection. Overall, I will very satisfied with the visit and I will most likely go back to this auto repair shop for future maintenance and repairs instead of using local Honda dealerships.

    Longo Toyota has been working on our cars for almost ten years and they have been great. We can make appointments in advance and they do things in a timely manner. Any repair work we've had has been done right. They are very punctual and responsive. The staff is very easy to deal with and they are very friendly.

    Norm Reeves Honda Superstore West Covina
    I have been using Norm Reeves West Covina since 2006 and they are definitely the best in the San Gabriel Valley (and possible the LA Metro area in general). The service advisers are very honest and recommended a lower maintenance work than I signed up for via their online appointment system. Adviser did not recommend unnecessary repairs even though my car could have qualified for the repairs due to age/miles driven. The waiting area is excellent with bottled water, pastries, and gourmet coffee and tea. Furthermore, their pricing is excellent. I've been to other Honda dealers before and I will only go to Norm Reeves West Covina for the foreseeable future and it is worth the drive. Their free exterior car wash exceeded my expectations--my car was very clean after the wash.
