Throughout the entire process, from 1st phone call to completion of work, went very smoothly. Prompt estimate, questions asked and answered quickly, schedule of work was easy, showed up for work on time, work looks to have been done correctly, left the job clean and clear from any debris. Overall, this is how to provide service to consumers.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish - from the estimate process to the follow-up. We did have an issue following the job that was resolved to our complete satisfaction.
Estimate: The process was efficient, professional, on time and a reasonable price. They accommodated our schedule for both the estimate and the job itself.
The job: The crew started early in the morning and worked all day to do the job in one day, minimizing the inconvenience of having the rooms cleared. They covered everything with plastic - walls, windows, doors, floors and large furniture not moved - and did their absolute best to keep the mess contained. (But, this is a messy job, so expect to still do a lot of dusting of everything after it's done, even after their maximum effort to contain it.) The quality of the work and appearance of the new ceiling was excellent, but we were concerned about the edges.
The follow-up: This was probably the most important part. We opted to prime and paint the new ceilings ourselves, but we were unsure of how to deal with the gap that existed between the wall and the new ceiling. We had been told to caulk the gap, but it seemed too large and rough in some places, and we felt the edges just weren't right. We emailed them some pictures and asked them to come back out and take a look at the edges and advise us on how to deal with it. They came out the next day following the email and did more than just look and advise. They filled in and smoothed the gaps along the edges and then caulked, making it much more ready for us to prime and paint. They did the work quickly and efficiently and in a friendly manner, just as they had been when they did the original job.
Communication: This part of the experience was absolutely spectacular. The communication process with this company centered around Jacky, who scheduled the estimate, did appropriate and timely confirmation of the job date, dealt with the follow-up questions, and kept track of our multiple phone numbers, email addresses and uniquely difficult schedule. Because of her communication, we were never in doubt about any aspect of the job. She was easy to talk to and her attention to detail and quick responses to calls and emails were truly rare and special, and very much appreciated.Thank you, Jacky!
Bottom line: The work was excellent, our concerns were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction, and the communication and follow-up throughout the whole process was great! Thanks to all of you!

They worked quickly and beautifully for the exterior. They had to charge extra for interior. They worked two days on interior and less than one day on exterior. The interior was estimated at $2000 and exterior at $400. They were very clean, punctual, efficient and did a good job. The office staff was responsive .

    OM Construction Inc
After several recent large jobs on private home still had numerous smaller jobs to "finish off" update including framing and making a door to area after installation of new furnace/AC, wall repair with plaster board and painting interior of room,  multiple external one of kind light fixtures not working due to old wiring and replace kitchen lighting fixture.
Tony was very responsive by phone and text regarding the initial visit, estimate and work.  He arrived with larger than expected crew which made the work progress in hours instead of days and was firm on the estimate price.  The work was very good including color matching of paint for the patch job I could not tell from rest of room.  They laid plastic and cleaned up entirely on job completion.
I would recommend OM construction for the work they do without reservation.

    Brigada Builders Inc
We did a full remodeling of our house, down to the studs. This was the first time we did any kind of work let alone a full blown remodeling. We were able to rely on Brigada's experience and advises. They did give us good advices to best use our money to do a quality job. They are a team of very good craftsmen. They do a refine job. my husband is all about practicality , i am all about esthetics. Brigada was great in dealing with both my husband and I to make sure we were both happy. they were able to execute a lot of custom design that the architect or myself designed, like custom fireplace (2) and ceiling beam corniches and column that came out sooo pretty (in master bedroom and master bathroom). They really have hands of gold. They also have a very good specialist to do tile work. . i am so obsessed with details and quality (i work in the fashion industry which explains it!) and he did an impeccable work; the bathrooms and the kitchen looks so beautiful. it was always the same team of workers working on our house; we got to know them and we really like them. they were so helpful and kind. if i couldnot visualize somethig they would make mock up for me to see and decide what was best. Really nice and helpful people which was a very important feel good factor as this is our home they were working on!
My husband and I, both work full time and are not very reachable during business hours. Brigada was very flexible and easy to communicate with. we could call them early in the morning or late at night. They would send me email or text pictures so i could visualize things they were asking me to make decision on; so i could give them answers quickly and not slow down the momentum. when i wasn't sure, i could count on their guidance. they have a very good taste level which was very helpful when i had to pick molding, paint color etc... and if it did not look right , they didn't opt for the "cheaper" way of doing thing but they really aspire to do a quality job.
Regarding schedule, they were on a mission to beat the due date. they started work as early as our city permits and worked until 6pm when necessary as well as every saturday. this was really great because we could meet them on the jobsite every saturday or after work. Brigada is a partnership of 2 contractors that make a great team; that was a great advantage as it was always at least one of them on the jobsite - every day. that was very important.
our house is in Palos Verdes Estates which has a very demanding city and art jury. Brigada was very good in dealing with both our city and art jury which relieved a lot of stress for us. now that we are back in the house and as we see details or touch up that needs to be done, we call them and they come and do it without us having to "chase" after them. really easy. They are great. we made a great choice to have them remodel our house.

    Absolute Maintenance & Consulting

We had a roof / gutter issues which resulted in leaks in the master bedroom closet which were undetected resulting in damage to interior and exterior walls and mold.  Our tenant was very concerned so we needed quick response and correction to the problem.  Bryan Clark responded to our call quickly, examined the problem, and provided a competitive estimate for the work.  We had called another mold remediation company who simply wanted to take mold samples, identify the problem (all at a high cost), but not fix the problem.  Do not use that type of mold remediation contractor.  Bryan provided a complete turn-key solution from problem identification, removing interior walls using mold remediation cautions, fixing roof / gutters, plaster and stucco repair, and paint.

Additionally, Bryan examined the entire house for other issues and provided options, risks, and cost estimates for each.  They assigned a very professional on-site manager throughout the work which made both us and our tenant comfortable since work required access to house interior.  As the work progressed another issue was discovered which they fixed at a very minimal charge.  We were impressed by the thorough mold protection, complete with plastic walls / ventilation/ etc.  The work was completed ahead of schedule and below the original estimate.  Bryan was very responsive, providing daily updates on progress, returning our calls promptly even late into the evening (since we work long hours).  We would definitely use this contractor again.  First rate contractor.

The contractors and their personnel were always punctual and considerate of our privacy. They kept the work site clean and were considerate of noise levels for our neighbors. Any concern that we had during the process was quickly addressed and to our satisfaction. The job was completed in a timely manner and they went above and beyond their scope of activity to help with minor repairs around the house. After completion of the job, there were follow up phone calls to make sure that all was well with the completed project. Overall a wonderful experience with wonderful results. Our room is our personal oasis.

They could have started the day after I got the estimate, but I needed more time to get the area prepped and move out the stuff from the rooms. I scheduled the work for the next week after the estimate. The work went smoothly and quickly. Richard likes to start early (6AM) - the customer rep said that they would arrive between 6-7 AM, but the crew was at my door at 6AM on the dot. They started by covering the walls, floors and furniture with plastic. I couldn't remove all of the furniture in the rooms, so I was relieved when Richard said that they would be able to work around the furniture (two big desks, one in each room). They hooked up a hose to one of my outside faucets and removed the acoustic ceiling. It's a wet and messy job, but except for one small spot on one wall, they didn't leave any traces behind. The spot that was left was easily cleaned with a damp paper towel. As they started to refinish the ceiling after the removal, they discovered that they could easily finish the ceiling in a smooth finish instead of using a texture. For some reason, I lucked out and my ceilings allowed for the ability to make a smooth finish. They asked me ahead of time what my thoughts were and that they would do it for the same price - this was very nice since we had to pay extra last time to have a smooth finish done. I opted for the smooth finish, but wanted to see it first. They finished the smallest room first and showed me the results which looked great. They did warn me ahead of time that if I went with the smooth finish that I would have to do a little light sanding before I primed and painted since there would be a few rough spots. They finished the other rooms and hallway and cleaned up everything. The foreman walked me through each room and explained what I needed to do after they left. I was surprised that I had to do a little extra work (besides the sanding) - I would have to fill in a small gap between the ceiling and the walls with painter's caulk before priming. This isn't a big deal, but I guess I didn't have to do this on the prior work because the ceilings were different (angled dormers instead of a flat ceiling). 6AM is really early, but they gives them a jump on the day and allowed them to finish by 4PM the same day.
