    Technician no showed on first appointment. Re-scheduled appointed with some persistent calling.. Tech showed up on time on next appointment. He was very thorough and I watched him clean A/C unit. He informed me of what the unit was lacking and noted that I may need a new unit in about a year which sound correct since it is the original unit. He was also able to answer all my questions.

    Purchased the offer twice and cancelled each purchase for refund within 30 days. Reason for both cancellations: No response from vendor to my request to schedule the work. (This assumes that the vendor received my email requests; I called once the phone number that was provided but voicemail box was full.)

    Roy showed up on time for an $80 diagnostic inspection of our broken central air conditioning system. He quickly determined our problem, which was there was no refrigerant in the system, and began a leak inspection. There were no obvious leaks, so he gave me a set of options. I chose to buy the new refrigerant, and put in some leak sealant with it, to hopefully close up any small leak. Time will tell if this will hold us for a year or two before we replace the 20 year old system entirely.

    Always efficient and professional. For the last 10 years, after I purchased their system,I have had twice yearly maintenance , spring for AC, fall for furnace. Worry free for me knowing system always in good order. Most importantly they never try to pressure me to buy new things, they honestly discuss whether I need these things because I am on a fixed income. I have used two great techs, Alfred and Don. They are almost like family to me.

    Healthy Duct Cleaning
    Technician showed me the pulled out dryer and said I should replace hose vs clean vent for $150, and  that I should also have furnace cleaning for $450. When I said that seemed really expensive, I was offered both for $500. I was a bit unsure and I had no time for the 1-2 hours it would take. Tech offered to come back later that afternoon, which I agreed to. 
    After he left I spoke with a friend and looked a little on line about furnace cleaning. Average prices I found were closer to $300.  I telephoned the tech back and said I wanted to research further, because I was finding his quote to be much higher than others and I just wanted the vent cleaning.  He never returned my call and never returned to clean the vent.
    I waited one day for him to respond to my message, but as I said, no response. I telephoned Healthy Duct on the 3rd day to ask what happened. The woman who answered was extremely rude and confrontational. She yelled at me and when I asked her several times to please stop yelling and lower her voice, she yelled even louder.  When I said if she continued to yell I would simply contact Angie's list about my issue, she said 'ok I'll whisper'.  Very sarcastic and unprofessional.  After explaining what happened, she said if I did not want the service, contact Angie's list for a refund. 
    Within minutes of that call the actual technician (Sam) telephoned me.  I believe he is actually with a totally different company than Healthy Duct and that the woman that I spoke to dispatches jobs to different companies. Sam was very pleasant and professional. He explained very clearly that he had cleaned the vent and I have no doubt that he did.  He offered that his price, once shopped, would be competitive and that he would honor the quote if I decided I wanted it in the future. I'm sure he meant near future.
    Overall bad experience - except for Sam.

    It was great. They were on time. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were very efficient with their work. I didn't look at anyone else because it was on Angie's List. They were very courteous, respectful and really good. I thought it was an awesome deal. I need to contact them to do the tune-up.

    Matt was very professional and thorough. He explained what he did to unplug and open up the furnace and filter for cleaning. He explained all the options we had for temperature settings throughout the day. He also told us about the maintenance account we could set up with Kelaire for regular cleaning.
    Kelaire would cancel the trip charge and offer the customer a $50 rebate with this maintenance account. We will be using Kelaire again in the future.

    They are wonderful! They are professional, courteous, punctual, and always communicate. We live in California and have a rental house in South Carolina. I have had Peco go out several times to service the heating and air unit in our rental unit with very short notice. They are always able to fix the issues almost immediately, if not immediately, all while keeping me and the tenant informed. I would highly recommend Peco!

    This is what really upset me folks: he told me they could install a new unit faster than they could replace the circuit board  ( which is just ridiculous) So the not-so-subtle hint was: If you want your heat back on fast, you'd sign up for a new furnace. I think they were more interested in selling a new unit to me than they were fixing the problem.  He even had a financing scheme in place with monthly payments and an interest rate of 7.99%. Mind you people I had two toddlers  a newborn at home with no heat during the bay area cold snap of the fall ( we all slept in the same room with a space heater) Once I told him that I was not interested in getting a new furnace and that the quote for replacing the part was outrageous, he could not get out of my house fast enough. Thanks to the Internet though, I found out that the price for the circuit board was $150 at a local HVAC supplier ( even cheaper online) I contacted another HVAC tech ( 5 stars rating on Yelp) who quoted me at $160 and got the job done. He told me that replacing a circuit board takes about 15 minutes for an experienced technician. He had to run other other diagnosis because, being the last one to touch the unit, he wanted to make sure they were  no other underlying issues. My furnace is still fully functional and we are comfortable not thanks to Stewart which tried to take advantage of me by exploiting my predicament. New furnace my a**!! Do not trust them and always get
