AHuft Heating & Air Conditioning IncMy 36-year-old heating and air conditioning system, which was original to my home, had been on borrowed time for some while. I researched and got bids from four local companies. I needed a new heat pump and air handler at least, but I also wanted to replace the insulation and duct work since it too was old and I had had some rodent issues in my attic some years ago. Insulation upgrades also qualify for additional SMUD rebates. Not only was Huft's bid the lowest, but my Bosch system is more energy efficient than any of the other systems quoted me and whisper quiet. From the salesman Glenn to the installation lead Tever and the insulation installer Anthony, I was impressed with their level of punctuality, courtesy, and professionalism throughout the process. In fact, Glenn was the only salesman who actually took the time to take measurements at my house and explained the numbers of why I needed a three-ton system. I am very happy with my system thus far and I would highly recommend Huft to others!- George P.

Exceptionally clean, used floor/wall coverings, had covers on shoes, vacuumed. Took pictures of before and after. Cleaned out my attic, sanitized, sealed air leaks, replaced insulation, and sealed all squirrel access holes. Written estimate with all parts of the job listed. No hidden costs or estimate revisions. AClear Efficiency Home ImprovementWhen Jesse spent a considerable amount of time doing a thermal scan of our house, asking me detailed questions (and answering my own detailed questions), and providing a thorough explanation of air movement and energy loss just to give us an estimate for the work, we knew that we were in good hands. Clear Efficiency's attention to detail and care continued throughout the installation and afterwards. Additionally, they hold themselves to a very high standard and when they weren't able to access a very small portion of our attic with a vaulted ceiling in order to seal it, they gave us a discount after the job was done. This portion of our attic is very hard to access and there is no way I would have known. This speaks volumes about their integrity. We are so thrilled with our attic insulation removal, sealing, refresh, and new insulation. The furnace kicks on about 1/10th of the time it used to and quickly shuts off when it reaches the right temperature. We are really enjoying being warm this winter and are excited to see the energy savings and comfort during the summer.- Edward H.

AClear Efficiency Home ImprovementBefore doing job, they performed a thermal inspection showing all the air leaks from construction seams of the skylights, spotlight canisters and vaulted ceilings. All the air gaps were sealed before adding the eco-friendly insulation and improving thermal efficiency. AClear Efficiency Home ImprovementExcellent. First, we spoke to Jesse about the product and made an appointment for a free walk through of our home. Jeremy came out and spent hours with us explaining what areas of our home needed to be insulated. He had this great tool which be infrared light, could show the hot and cold areas of the walls. That, and living in such a hot house, were all we needed to decide to go ahead with Clear Efficiency. In the end, our house is now so much cooler. Insulating was the answer for us! AI bought a dishwasher from Home Depot with installation included with delivery, but once they delivered, they took one look at my old unit and the fact that it wasn't a simple plug-in job and threw up their hands and said they couldn't do it. So I ended up having my new dishwasher, still in the box, sitting in my kitchen for the past two months. I'm SO grateful I found Quinn to take care of it. He was able to do some of the electrical work necessary to remove my old unit and did a thorough job connecting the new one in its place. He was immensely personable and I appreciated too him showing me some of the new innovative features present in my new dishwasher that made both its installation and operation easier than older models (I don't have much handy work experience myself but do find the whole process and its quirks fascinating). I could tell Quinn also took his time to make everything was connected just right too. I'm already make a list of other household projects that I'll need Quinn's help with in the future!

AI needed a portion of my backyard cleared of a tree stump and decorative brick to put in a shed. Gabe and his crew were very skilled and fast as they cleared and leveled the space. They were courteous and cleaned up the rock from the street when they finished. Gabe was so kind in getting me scheduled quickly as a previous contractor had rescheduled me 4 times as other jobs came in. My job was fairly small but I felt like it was just as important as a bigger job. I will be calling them again in the spring to do more work for me. Thank you!

AWe initially contacted TGI for a new wood fireplace insert. They helped us through all of the steps as we needed to remove the existing one and replace the rock front and hearth. As you can see the finished product is beautiful. Highly recommend! Bob (owner) and Cody did fireplace install for mine. They kept the area clear and clean and were able to get the fireplace installed within the day once the rockwork was done. Having young children it's incredibly important who I invite into my home.
