APeterson Landscape and Property MaintenanceDave does an excellent job at our country house, and so far he has been here 5 times. I give him a list of items to be accomplished and he buys all the necessary parts to complete the list on his next visit. My wife was extremely concerned because a snake had gotten into our garage. Dave figured out how to snake proof our garage doors. Dave is very capable and I highly recommend him.- Bill C.

ANatural LandscapingAngie's List provided four businesses related to our inquiry. We submitted inquiries to all four companies. Two never responded, one responded with an email that goes out to all inquiries and that was the last we heard from that company. All three had high ratings per the Angie's List site. Natural Landscaping was the only company that responded, with a call within an hour of our inquiry. Natural Landscaping was the perfect choice for our needs. Misael is professional, prompt, courteous and his recommendations are based on a keen eye and natural talent for landscaping. Misael listened to what we were requesting to have done then walked us through the work, offering suggestions and alternatives based on sound judgement. The results are ideal. We're extremely pleased with Misael's work and will be using Natural Landscaping to redo the back yard now and maintain both the front and back yards.- Matthew W.

ASystem PaversFrom conception to installation these guys were great. We first got a super pro David to put our wants on paper. It was as if he was reading my mind, he was so in tune with what I wanted. We now have a beautiful cobblestone patio with a sitting wall and a diamond-shaped wood firepit, a planter area under the large window and a dog park for our 3 dogs. I look at it and still can't believe it's ours! It would have taken only six days but their supplier sent the wrong pallets, so it took seven. We will have them back for our front yard in a year or two.- Debi H.

This time I asked him to have my kitchen floor and countertop remodeled as well as my bathroom floor, countertop and tiles. He helped guide me in choosing the right materials to blend with the interior of my home. It only took a couple of weeks to finish everything after we made our selection. Work started February 15th and finished February 28th. Babylon Builders is experienced, knowledgeable and very respectful. The crew were very courteous, left the job clean at the end of every day and did not disturb the other areas of the home. This is a company that cares! Thank you Roney and thanks to your crew." FJeramy came out to give me an estimate on some service. I liked the guy. He seemed to really understand his trade and what what I needed. Prior to leaving, he quoted me $3,000 and said if I had the hauling done myself, it would be $400 less. Not 10 minutes after he left, I received an email with the written quote. It was $3700! That is not a marginal change, that’s a 23% increase! I reached out to him via text to inquire why there was such an increase, hoping it was an error, but no. That’s not a good way to run a business, and I’ll definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

CI wish I could give this company a wonderful review. But, that's not going to be the case. Our System Pavers salesman, Mr. Mike Ammenwerth, took care of drawing up the plans. He was nice enough....however....communicating with him afterward was, in fact, a challenge in itself. We signed the contract for our Paver project, which included Pergola Patio Cover, which turned out to be a separate project in itself. We were assigned a couple of "project managers".....first it was Beau Johnston, the Repair Technician, who had to be pulled off the job....then it was Mr. Zakk Schot who ended up being our primary point-of-contact for the majority of the project. We also had interaction for the company Contraction Manager, Mr. Frank Gori. All in all.....communication was spotty at best throughout this experience (with the exception of dealing with Zakk). The Pergola patio cover became an issue as time went on. We advised Mike Ammenwerth that we wanted additional shade than we were receiving from our existing wooden patio cover. Mike told us "no problem" and recommended the Pergola. Well, the Pergola, once it was installed, sat higher (taller) with a less angle and, frankly, provided less shade (or really no shade) when we compared it to our old patio cover. It's attractive looking without question......however, now we have to install roll down shades to the sides and front of our beautiful patio cover. Not what we expected at all. Our patio cover faces to the South. So.....be very much aware of which side of the house YOU intend on the installation of the very same product. Had I done more research on companies that perform this very same type of service, I would have saved myself a heck of a lot of money. System Pavers profit markup is outrageous (I found out after-the-fact). The company itself only hires subcontractors for their work. The paver subcontractor (Mr. Rozival Sousa of Paver Performance, Lic #1060961) asked me what I paid for our paving contract.....he gave me a "look", then told me that he could of done it for half the price with the very same material and guarantees. Lesson learned. This company depends on the ignorance of the client. The subcontractor, and his team, did a reasonably nice job with our paving project. However, they were very sloppy with the concrete residue left behind on all edges of the paver boundaries. They also left lots of rock and sand that we had to clean up. We filled 3 large trash cans and still had more to go. Some sprinkler pipes were broken as well.....however....those were repaired. For the price I (we) paid for this construction project, I certainly expected more attention to detail when it was all said and done. Would recommend this company to someone else? Probably not. Do your research! More importantly, take several bids from various companies. You will eventually discover that System Pavers is way over priced.

From his design and vision through every step of the project, Steve was as good as it gets. BThey did a great job. But if I was going to recommend them, you need to walk them through carefully because they will mess up if you don't. They redo couple of event and there were cracked but they fixed it right away. They were not perfect but they were nice people. They had a competitive price. They were responsive and it mattered to me. They also document everything I mean like they give receipt. When they came out they brought a translator and I really appreciate it because most of them were Spanish speaking.

AVicente did a really great job rebuilding our fence after it was knocked down. He is affordable, honest and does high quality work. He is taking Covid precautions seriously and always wears a mask. We also hired him to clean the gutters and he did a great job on that too!
