Remodeling Kitchen And Bath reviews in Rio Linda

  • All supply valves required soldering to copper pipe. Was done properly. Toilets installed properly. 2nd bath tub/shower valve installation required cutting wall in hallway and copper pipe soldering. Was done well, sheetrock restored with passable surface texturing.
Master bath shower torn out, new fiberglass surround brought in but did not fit due to lack of proper measurement. Was told that custom manufacture fiberglass was required, would cost as much as tile. Chose to add ceramic tile shower surround to original work.
Shower valve installation required copper pipe soldering, was done properly. Plumber closed door to bathroom while soldering, blocking ventilation, did not turn on exhaust fan while soldering. Went to the Emergency Room for breathing difficulty. Did not require hospitalization.
Tile surround and floor completed about two weeks after starting initial work. Looks very nice except for finish details which required 2 return visits. Satisfactory tile.  Sliding glass shower door did not keep water off bathroom floor. Bottom edge too high to block water from shower. Also, shower door frame projected one inch above top edge of tile in unsightly manner. Shower door frame installation screw visible above top edge of tile.  Visit from supervisor (Director of Awesomeness!) to demonstrate deficiencies. And attempt to brainstorm remedies.
Shower door reinstalled with modifications. Looks better, adequate. Door blocks 90% of water from bathroom floor.
Plumber was polite but sometimes unprofessional. Worked 4 to 5 hours on days he was present. Long afternoon breaks. Did not take professional pride in finish details. Work took about a month to complete.
Supervisor offered 2% refund to satisfy company motto "If there is any delay, It's you we pay!"  Agreed to supply detailed invoice for Water District toilet rebate.  Took 5 phone calls to supervisor, have refund check three weeks after completion of work. Multiple promises to mail the check were not fulfilled. Still waiting for invoice so Water District toilet rebate can be processed.
    Very annoying.

  • Couldn't ask for better service. These guys were timely, friendly, and worked quickly to fix the rotten backyard fence that was messed up when I bought the house. Now, it stands up just fine and I can keep my dog in my backyard during the day, without fear of it falling over or anything. Thanks!!!

  • I was impressed with the fact that they actually came when they said they would.
I feel that I may have been able to get the job done more cheaply but I'm afraid the job I would get for a cheaper amount would be a cheaper job. I think they were dependable and the job was well done.
They did use nails on the deck which is OK but I would have liked screws better.

  • I already told most of it above. They took a few extra days than the estimated, but like I said they ran into a few unexpected needed repairs. So it took 2 weeks and a couple of extra days. When he saw he wasn't going to finish on time he even worked on a Saturday.

  • The work crew was professional and efficient.  Work was performed as scheduled and on time and completed in one day. They replaced a bath/shower with a walk in shower. They placed drop cloths over the carpeting and cleaned up after the job well.  The plumbing for the new fixture and shower head was replaced and new purple sheet rock installed.  They had to return to perform minor caulking touch up. The new shower looks and works great.   Excellent customer service from start to finish.

  • This rental house was in disastrous shape. Every wall had poor patch jobs or multiple nail or damage holes. Most of the window surrounds had cracks or damage. As it is an older home, the walls were not simply drywall, but had a plaster skim over them. He cleaned out all the poor patching and replaced it with properly patched walls and window areas. He then textured all the new plaster so that the interior looks new again. I did the initial prep on the walls by doing an initial TSP wash and removing all the electrical covers. However, the walls were so dirty that it required some additional cleaning. The result of the careful preparation is an interior that is clean and properly repaired. Mr. Clancy and his crew took many extra steps like rescuing closet shelving and brackets to make them look nice. Furthermore, they saved every piece of hardware or materials that they felt could be reused.

  • Exceeded my expectations and the project was completed right on schedule.

  • I would use them in the future.

  • He had enough contacts to help me with everything that needed to be done, which I appreciated. He was very responsive.
