Feraru & Associates Building & Design Inc
Sorin Feraru recently did a full kitchen remodel, including an addition to the front of the house, and he and his team did an excellent job. The addition went up very quickly and our neighbors were impressed with how fast they work, even while maintaining a high quality of craftsmanship. We had many issues with PG&E due to a gas meter relocation, and they worked around any delays and worked along side PG&E to complete the job. Any other issues we had along the way, Sorin immediately came over to help resolve them, even on the weekends. It was a pleasure to work with Sorin and his team and we now have a beautiful new kitchen to enjoy.

David did an amazing job. I had him working at our house, he was a jack of all trades and I needed someone with multiple skill sets. He did extensive siding work, including removal of a full fireplace. He reassembled everything, robbed siding from the back of the house and blended it in (it was hard to find). He built closets and a fence and bench seating on a brick wall. He is resourceful, clean, professional. A great value. Great communicator, hard worker. Thanks Dave, appreciate all your hard work.

Everything was incredible. It's a challenge to find talented, hard working and honest contractors in the Bay Area. David is all of the above plus dependable and shows up on time. I enjoyed working with him on my projects and will continue to hire David as new remodel projects arise.

Everything went splendidly. David was very professional and prompt. He was honest with me every step of the way, and the price of the job was the same as the estimate. He was easy to get a hold of, and returned my messages quite quickly. I guess the best way to describe my feeling about his work would be that I kept finding more jobs for to do around the house. And Of course I am hiring him again when the next thing breaks down in my house.

David completed the work in 3 and 1/4 days within his original cost estimate totally to our satisfaction. He told special care to avoid disturbing our flower bed underneath the balcony. He left the site looking neat and clean. Bottom line, David is a PRO.

It went very well and was accomplished before winter rains made more of a mess for us. David spent 3 1/2 days on the project and left the site, including our front yard flower bed, clean and undamaged working in very close quarters. His work goes beyond the definition of a "handy man". He is a PRO in all facets of the work he did for us; knowledge of dry rot abatement; products to kill the fungus; painting techniques to "hide" the 2/12 repair; etc. The final cost was within his initial estimate.

    Dan Martinez Construction Inc.
.Mr. Martinez and his foreman, Sterling, couldn't have been better. I was completely satisfied with their craftsmanship, attention to detail, cleanup daily so I could exist during this remodel. Sterling is superb carpenter, troubleshooter, and all around nice guy. I would consider myself fortunate to be able to hire them again. The subs they used were first rate as well. Dan also sent Sterling back to the job 2 months after completion because of problems nobody could have foreseen. I gave Sterling and crew a key to my home and never had a complaint about that.

The entire process was good and the team was fairly tidy and on-time. The estimation and payment process was rather smooth, considering this job was 3x the size of the previous job. I'd work with them again.

Tom did a great job of figuring out the source of the mold problem and choosing solutions from the many options out there.   He was  able to do many types of work on a short time frame and relatively small budget, and get a horrendous mold problem under control, and my unit ready to rent so I could get income coming back in.
However,  over time the I have not been all that happy with the quality of the work.
He prepared the tub surround but did not tile it (due to limited funds)= I was unhappy becuase he did the rough carpentry for 4" tile though I had told him I wanted to use 3x6 subway tile.    The toilet is rocking on the tile floor.
He began the process of relocating the electrical box in the kitchen ceiling but left it incomplete.
The fireplace insert was leaking gas byproducts into the living room and I had to hire a venting person to redo the vent installation to make it leak proof.
the granite countertop he installed has cracked around the kitchen sink.  I called and asked him to fix it.  He came over and there was a long discussion about whether he should do the work or not.  Finally I convinced him that he should build some more bracing under the double stainless steel sink to prevent further cracking.  He called once to try to schedule the work but I have not heard from him since.

Jason and his team at Home Healing Renovations came in and helped us clean up the big mess left by another contractor. It was refreshing to have someone willing to work with us to get our Bedroom/Bathroom/Deck project finished the way we had always envisioned it to be. Everyday we enjoy our space more and more! Thank you Jason and your amazing team!
