This is exactly what Kerry's Tree Service offers the customer. Mike Gallagher, arborist, came out, viewed my tree situation, then told me his recommendations and gave me an estimate within within 48 hours. after i talked to several other companies, I hired Kerry's with confidence the job would be done best if I used their services. I was correct. It took a crew of 5 men plus Mike Gallagher 4 hours to finish the job. They were professional all the way including final cleanup of my property at the end. All 3 trees look terrific and I look forward to seeing them after they fill out next Spring.- Ralph S.

ACALIFORNIA CUSTOM LANDSCAPEI received a few quotes from other contractors and they were actually a little lower than California Custom Landscape. But after our initial meeting with Henry it was obvious he had a lot of knowledge and experience so I was extremely comfortable and confident we would love our new yard. He understood my vision but was honest as to why some of my ideas wouldn’t work with our yard and provided his own suggestions. Most people think that contractors would only make recommendations to increase the cost, but he sees each project as if it were his own home and provides his straightforward opinion as to what really looks best and makes sense. Henry actually may have saved me money. During the construction process, he constantly kept me informed as to what the next steps were and was always available to answer any questions I had day or night. I was impressed at how quickly his team worked and they always made sure to clean up each day. Needless to say I am extremely happy with the outcome and HIGHLY recommend California Custom Landscape.- G. H.

AThrifty Tree Services IncWent as well as can be. About 7 guys came with all kinds of equipment (tree grinder, wood chipper ) both manual and heavy duty tractors. They protected my and my neighbor's windows with plywood. They used manual tools where the roots were near the gas meter being careful to ensure no damage was done to pipes. After the job was done, they did a great job cleaning the yard and made sure there were no dead branches and trimmings around. They filled the ground where the tree used to be with tree chips that one cannot tell that there used to be a tree there. Great job, Dave.- Vida B.

AMike Guttman Design & ConstructionMike is hands down the best contractor we have ever hired. The previous owners of our house had done some beautiful and expensive hardscaping and landscaping probably 40 years ago, but it was all badly in need of renovation when we bought the house a few years ago. We wanted to restore it all and make a few improvements rather than start over, and Mike was fully on board with that approach from the moment he arrived. All I had to do was show him what needed to be addressed, and he immediately knew the right way to handle everything, including how to address all our concerns about pitch and drainage, since our property slopes down from the street. He restored our property and made it even more beautiful that we imagined it could be. In particular, he had the idea of covering our existing concrete walkways and steps with blue stone instead of demolishing and pouring new concrete--it cost about the same, is gorgeous, and goes perfectly with house and front yard area. But everything he did looks like it was meant to be here--nothing looks like an add-on. In addition to his great design ideas, Mike was very engaged and responsive. Not only does he have a great crew, but he was at our house almost every day checking their work, having them fix details that weren't to his standards, and walking me through what was done and what would be done next. And he always responded quickly to calls and texts to address any questions or concerns we had. This was a huge investment for us and needed to be done right, and Mike did exactly that. We were in very safe hands with Mike and recommend him without reservation.- Jeremy S.

The yard at my rental property was littered with oversized waste and unmaintained landscape in 2hrs they had leveled the whole yard taking all the junk and leaving the backyard like it existed again. AAndre fully appreciated the scope of this job; he remained and worked with his crew throughout the three-day job and actually used two crews: seven men plus two grinders and a crane operator. It was amazing to watch this crew at work in the trees and on the house. At the end, there was absolutely no damage to our roof, and the crew cleaned up completely. The service included testing all the sprinklers and full repair to any broken sprinkler heads as well as seeding/fertilizing any lawn patches affected by the massive logs sitting on them during the removal process; this was done without us even requesting it. The stumps were ground to below ground level to allow for future planting. When Andre noticed that the grinding was not as deep as he knew we wanted it to be, he re-called his grinders before we ever knew there was a problem. Andre and his crew worked during a period of extreme heat, yet remained friendly and gave full effort throughout. His bid for this job was not the lowest; however we were impressed with his experience and ratings, which were well deserved. Andre even repaired a sprinkler valve totally unrelated to the tree removal because he had the part needed and "didn't want me to have to worry about it". We are so pleased that we chose Andre for this job.

AMike came out and did a wonderful job of doing the actual landscaping we had in mind once we talked it over so we were on the same page. He modified the sprinkler system so it would be more efficient, worked with us on a few modifications and did a great job. His wife, Beth, came along when it was time to put the plants in the beds. She not only helped with the placing, but dug up the plants we had in our backyard and re-planted them in our new front yard beds! Even tho he didn't lay the initial sprinkler system, a few weeks after everything was done, I noticed a leak had sprung up in the system. I called Mike, and he came out and repaired the broken pipe at no charge! I highly recommend MLs Lawn service for all your outdoor needs! These are super nice people, and are wonderful to not only hire, but to know!
