    Indiander Lask & Rosenzweig MDs
Overall, competent given my two-plus decades of experience with this Group's various MDs. I became really upset, however, last year. In July, I had heard nothing for nearly 7 weeks from the Group about a biopsy and largely assumed that there was no issue. To be certain, though, I called. I was shocked to learn that it was pre cancerous, and that attempts to inform me on this were only made through one phone number with a full voice mail at the time.
I imagine that most people, like me, want pre-cancerous stuff removed at the earliest opportunity, even if not serious. I've had several prior excisions. The Group had multiple contact for me -- home, email, and employer -- so an excuse about my voice mail being full struck me as both lame and rather insulting. The Group was remiss not making some added, reasonable attempts to notify me of a pre-cancer condition, especially as long-standing, good patient. Had I not called, would I ever have been informed?
When I saw Dr. Kim for the excision and inquired about the faux pas, no apology, only excuses. Disheartening. I left wondering if the world is so litigious and jaded that physicians and their office staff can't even express regret about a mishap without fear of some adverse action. Sad. Had someone said to me, 'sorry,' I would have accepted that.
When medical professionals don't know of or admit to a problem, that's much worse and potentially dangerous than acknowledging it. Problems need be fixed, not glossed over and inadvertently perpetuated. And, to make matters worse, the remaining excision scar is not good, and my out-of-pocket costs high. Only recently was I able to get some discount, albeit not to my satisfaction. So thought I should post here while it's all on my mind. Just want others to beware.

    Hartman, Dr. Robert D.
Both doctors thought that the mole was unlikely to be cancerous, but we went ahead with a biopsy just in case. Dr. Hartman did it in his office with a local anesthetic, it was quick and easy, with minimal pain. It healed very well. The lab results were negative.
Dr. Hartman told me what to watch out for: anything that's flat, asymmetrical, and tri-colored. He really knows his stuff, he even teaches it.

The growth is gone  as of 12/3/13 today and I would recommend him to anyone !
