    I called several of the Angies list suggested carpet cleaners and this one was the best price of the three I contacted. There was an add on when Andrew got here and the conversation included some reference to two and a half times the phone estimate....which was what the most expensive of the others had been.... I thought this was an unnecessary step after being quoted one price for the area measured and described over the phone. Once we got that settled things went much better. Andrew was on time and his work was excellent....the confusion over price negotiations was totally unnecessary ....but the work was of excellent quality and I would have him back again without any other reservation......

    Valley Carpet Cleaning
    Fabulous. We have had our carpet cleaned many times in the past. Some companies did a so-so job. Some said they didn't want to charge us for an extra treatment because it wouldn't help. Valley Carpet Cleaning set about cleaning without comment and I was astounded that they made our older carpets look practically new again! And for a great price.

    We purchased a carpet cleaning through Angie's List after seeing the ratings for Valley Carpet Cleaning and were very, very happy with the service! Our carpets were exceptionally dirty so we paid for their "deep cleaning" option and the before/after difference was incredible. While here we also asked them to clean our couch. That added an additional $80 to our overall price but the couch came out looking fantastic so we thought it was worth the increased cost. The two service providers were punctual and very professional. Everything you could want from people working in your home; friendly, courteous to my family, and respectful of our belongings. We will absolutely be using Valley Carpet Cleaning again and highly recommend them!

    Valley Carpet Cleaning
    I called on Friday morning and they were able to schedule me for Saturday with a window for arrival between 11AM - 1PM. Around 11:45 they called and said they would be here within the hour. They actually arrived right around 1PM. They were done by 3 PM.
     When I called, I originally asked for pricing for the living room, hallway and 2 small bedrooms and was given a price of $160 for the sectional sofa and about 140 for the carpet cleaning. I told James I wanted to check with my husband and would call him back, which I did and told him we decided that the 2 small bedrooms were not going to be included. He did not give me a new price quote, if I remember correctly, but I assumed it would be less. My main reason for hiring a professional was that I had some significant urine stains on the carper that had seeped under the sectional. I had previously cleaned it with a home carpet machine, but I wanted to get the sofa moved so that the odor  and staining from underneath the carpet would be addressed. It was a fairly large area of staining on a quality carpet  with a stain resistant pad that is only about 1 1/2 years old.
    When they arrived I showed James the area I was concerned with and again brought up that I wanted the sofa moved so the carpet would be cleaned underneath. I then also asked him what the pricing would be and he told me it would be 260 plus 35 for the deodorizing treatment I had requested. He said that's what I was quoted, but I reminded him that I had originally included the 2 small bedrooms - he then said it would be 260 again. My husband and I were in the dining room where we were able to watch them while they worked.They seemed to do a good job on the sofa (although it was left more damp than I would have expected), and seemed to do a fairly diligent job on the area outside of the problem section and in the hallway. They pretreated the carpet and they had a scrubber machine they used on those areas. When they got to the problem area it seemed to both my husband and I that they spent less time on that area. They also had packed up the scrubber machine and looked like they were "finished" (James was approaching the door with an invoice in his hands) when I asked if they were going to move and clean under the sofa - the reaction was, "oh yes, of course", but it seemed clear that he had no intention on doing that until I brought it up. They proceeded to move the sofa and clean under it (as I suspected, there was a large stain that had seeped underneath) but did not bring the scrubber in again and seemed to whip through that part of the job like they were on a time clock.
     I was not satisfied with their work on the stain - I had better results with my home carpet cleaning machine - James said that there was nothing more he could do but that he would take 30 off the bill, which he did. He also took a picture of the area.I also asked why they had not used the scrubber machine on the problem area. James said he did. I asked him if they used an enzyme cleaner and he said "yes, of course", and mentioned some other type of cleaner that was used, but that the stain was so old that it was beyond what they could do. I asked if they would go over it again, but he just wanted to give the discount., so I dropped it and took the reduced rate.
     Overall, I thought they were OK, but I am disappointed because the reviews seemed to indicate that they were extremely professional and thorough and had good results on old stains, etc. I would have liked James to tell me upfront if he thought they could not get the stain out. I just felt they were not really interested in whether I was satisfied and just were going through the motions so that they could be done and get out of our house. We did not bother them while they worked, etc. (my attitude is always let someone do their job before criticizing, as they may have an orderly way of doing it that works best), so we did not do anything to make their job more difficult - just when they were done I told them I was disappointed in the result.

    I called them after I purchased the deal because I had some furniture that I needed moved before they could power stretch the carpet.  They said that they would be able to move the furniture for me.  After they came out to do the service I had to call them back because I still had wrinkles where they had stretched the carpet.  They did come back out to resolve the issue.  They did finally resolve the issue after coming out 3 seperate times.  They were pretty difficult to work with.

    |When the rugs were laid out in their rooms, we were surprised and very pleased by how bright and clean the rugs were.  We had taken good care of the rugs in terms of them in terms of avoiding dirty feet and spills (both were rugs used in master and guest bedrooms), but this was our first cleaning of one of the rugs, after about 15 years, and this rug has large fields of white in it, with just the edges and the center medallion in color.  Yet the rug looked almost as good as new--no spots, no stains, no discoloration, and brightened colors.  The other rug is a silk Chinese 90-line rug, in pale blue.  We were told that "no rez" means no residue after cleaning because only ionized water is used in the cleaning process, meaning no cleaner residue.

    |The white rug demanded a lot of detail because certain spots were use-worn and grey looking.  One of the techs who delivered the rugs mentioned how hard the cleaner technician had worked on this rug, and his effort shows, as mentioned above: bright and clean.

    |Pickup and delivery was as scheduled, and done professionally.  The men were friendly yet efficient, and very helpful.  The price for cleaning the two rugs might seem high, but it is "competitive" with quotes from other rug cleaning companies, and, most important, the price reflects the high quality results.

    First appt cancelled they said their machine broke. Second appt. we're several hours late. Very frustrating. Only one person does the job and used only one carpet cleaning machine that looks like a vacuum n cleaner. But it did do the job my carpets looked very good. Took longer to dry then they said it would.

    Wow!!  Khaled did an AMAZING job getting everything super clean, I feel like I have a new house!!!  He was on time, didn't leave any mess, and most importantly, he did a very thorough job.  He really spent time looking for stains and treating them.  Khalid set the bar really high for anyone to clean the carpets after him, but since I will use this company again, that won't be a problem.  The only bad thing is that since Khaled cleaned my couch and area rugs so well, I don't get to replace them anytime soon since they look, feel, and smell brand new!!  I am extremely pleased and will definitely use this company again.

    It went well through the whole process but then, it has been like 3 months, and he had to finish the very last details and I actually send someone to check for him and he is actually nowhere to be found.  I liked that he came in right away because we had a small fire and he started cleaning the air, he was attentive in the beginning, he made the process very smooth and he gave me very good service in the beginning.
