    Dne Appliance Repair
Our 5-year-old Bosch dishwasher showed an E15 error code. A two-second Google search shows that, for Bosch and many other brands, the E15 code means leakage detection. A two-minute YouTube video shows that you can remove the front panels and tip the water out for a temporary fix if the water pump is not defective and the hose connections are firm. If the pump is defective it obviously will have to be replaced. (I am oversimplifying the fixes but that's the general idea). All of this was known to me and readily available to anyone with an internet connection. I specifically mentioned the E15 code to DNE before they came out. DNE's service guy showed up WITH NO TOOLS. He advised that he had "made some research" and came up with the information described above. Then he charged me $55 for the "service call," gave me an estimate of $200 for the temporary fix and another $200 if the pump needs to be replaced. Again, this is a 5-year old machine that cost $600 new. I understand that there's a charge for any service call. However, I advised DNE of the error code in advance. There was no need for the service call in the first place if the only point was to recite information I already had, and which I had discussed in advance.

    Lerman Appliances
I was concerned that my washer door was damaged by a move. Andre from Lerman Appliances came to do the service inspection. He checked more than the seals on the door - he checked all the electronics and the drain too. Very complete. Thanks Andre. He was prompt; he was efficient; he was thorough and extremely personable. He gave us some valuable suggestions to keep water off our new floors.

These guys are great. My refrigerator stopped cooling, and they were able to send a technician to my house within a few hours of a phone call. The technician was prompt, knowledgeable, and fast. Overall experience from making an appointment to the actual repair was easy and extremely professional. Thank you! Highly recommend!

    Johnny's Appliance Repair
Amazing! My sister was just finishing a remodeling project and we needed to do about 15 loads of laundry and, lo and behold, we find that the heat isn't working on the dryer. We couldn't reach the contractor as it was a Saturday so called Johnny and he was at the house within 30 minutes. He fixed the dryer quickly and efficiently and was really nice which was an extra added bonus

    Reseda Refrigerator Repair
Terrible! The freezer still did not work, and the repairman failed to honor his guarantee!!! He never came back, as he said he would, after numerous attempts to get him to come back. I ended up buying another refridgrrator. Dealing with people was an absolute nightmare!!!

    Prima Appliance Repair
On October 6, 2017, we had them come to give us an estimate. The estimate charge of $59.99 was to be included in the repair charge if we were to have the repair done. The repair man (of middle Eastern descent or Russian) came late in the evening with a co-worker. The estimate was $363.73. I thought it was a little high, but told them to go ahead and do the work. In just more than 30 minutes, they had completed the work, and said that the freezer was working, and that it should be cold by the morning. The man said that the warranty was for a "full year", and wrote it on my receipt. I paid with my Capital One Visa card. The next morning, the freezer felt cold, but not freezing cold. On Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, I went to the Capital One website to see if the $363.73 charge had been posted to my account. It had been posted on Oct. 6th, and an additional charge of $59.99 was posted on October 9th. I called the business number, and spoke to the lady who answered. I told her that I was going to Minnesota that evening, and had seen that the $59.99 service fee charge, had been posted to my account. She apologized for the error, and said that she would send me a check right away. I returned on Sunday night (Oct.15th), and my wife told me that the freezer was not working, and showed me the ice cream container with the melted ice cream. I checked my mail, and also saw that the check for $59.99, had not yet been mailed to me. The next morning, Monday, Oct. 16th, I called the repairman's number and spoke to the same lady (who apparently was his wife), and told her that I had not yet received the $59.99 check. She apologized again, and said she was mailing it to me right away. I then told her that the freezer was not working, and that her husband needed to come back and make the correct repair, and that he had written "full year warranty" on my sales receipt. She said that he was going to be busy all day Tuesday, but would come out no later than Thursday. I said that Wednesday would be better for me. She responded, saying that he would "try to make it on Wednesday" and if not, he would be here "no later than Thursday". Thursday, when he didn't show and didn't call, I called their number, and had to leave a message on their voice mail, and stated that "food was spoiling" in the freezer. When 30 minutes passed, and she hadn't returned my call, I called again. This time she answered, and knew it was me, before I said a word. She said that he was "too busy" but would come out Friday evening "for sure". At 7:04 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20th, she called me to say that he couldn't come because he had gotten a "flat tire" on the freeway!!! I instantly detected her lying to me. My wife and I were missing a pizza party, because we were waiting for him to show. The lady again apologized, and said that he would come the next morning be tween 8:00 - 11;00 a.m. "for sure"! We missed our grandson's soccer game that morning - waiting for him". He called at 10:30 a.m. to say that he was "on his way", and would be here in 20 minutes. At 11:05 a.m., he called again to say that the part supplier didn't have the needed part, and that he would have it on Monday Oct.23rd, and then be here that Monday between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Monday came and went, without his showing up, and again no phone call. Now, being totally fed up with him and his excuses, which had now gone on for a week, I called Capital One that evening, and had the $363.73 charge reversed, and the money was put back into my account. Now, Capital One was going to deal with him. I did however, receive a check on the previous Thursday, for $59.99, and promptly deposited it into my checking account. My worst nightmare is now over, and I have gotten all of my money back! The phone number of the people who set me up with this scam, is (818) 812-4952 ("Appliance Repair"), This whole operation of theirs is a scam, and they all should go back to Eastern Europe where they came from, and scam their own people!!! By the way, I just called the above number, and the voice mail voice sounded American. it's the Prima Appliance Repair Inc., people who scammed me, and I thank God I have all of my money. I would never recommend these people to anyone, as dealing with them was nothing but a business nightmare! If I had more time, I would take them to Small Claims Court. But being 75 years old, I don't need any more headaches before I go to the next world. Thank you for your time.

    American West Appliance Repair
Fred arrived on time, which is a wonderful thing. Very kind. He repaired our dryer. Very open and honest about what he was doing. Showing me everything as he went. Felt very much that he and the company cared to get it right. Based on Fred, would use this company again for sure. Happy to have one now on hand!

    American West Appliance Repair
Phenomenal response time and to be able to diagnose and repair in such a short time is just way above expectations. The technician's many years of experience were obvious. He was very knowledgeable of my appliance and gave some tips how to maintain it in the future. The entire experience was great from start to finish.

    US Standard Appliance Repair
Good - Mike showed up when he said he would and immediately diagnosed the problem - needed a new electronic control board. He had the part in his truck; removed the faulty one and installed the new one and was done in 15-20 minutes. Bad - I was grossly overcharged for the part. He started the price game at $430 and made me feel like he was giving me a bargain at $380, which is what I paid, but I was scammed! When I later called Sears PartsDirect I was told that the part cost $90. I would not have minded the company making 100% profit on the part, but 400% is outrageous! I saw a similar review on Yelp about a washing machine repair which gives me the impression that this company's policy is to charge for parts what the repairman thinks the market will bear based on the situation. In my case he knew that I was desperate since my food was melting. I want to deal with someone who has a parts price list he looks at and the price for a part is the same for everyone.
