Fantastic! Mike has a knack of getting the best out of people. Easy going and yet the ultimate professional. We had family portraits taken, and then individual professional head shots for publication. The work was performed in his studio in Roseville, Ca. Truly not just a photographer, but a photographic artist. The final products - prints and digital images - are absolutely first class in every respect. Delivered on time as promised - actually ahead of time - and at what we considered to be very reasonable cost. Couldn't be happier. Will go back to him in a heartbeat.

    The Notably Well-Dressed Home LLC
It is stressful enough trying to get a house empty and ready for selling. It's difficult to pack up and move, then clean the place out, make repairs, and get ready for the barrage of realtors and strangers who come to tour it. After spending money to do all that, you question whether it's worth it to spend even more on staging your home. After all--it will sell itself very quickly, right? WRONG! Our house languished on the market for 6 months before we got a viable offer, and each month when I renewed my staging contract I was so glad we had made the decision to stage it----because the online photos drew people over, and then provided a comfortable, uncluttered and neutural environment for buyers to envision their own family. While our house had originally been used as a rental for college students, we chose to stage it for a FAMILY, and that's who ended up buying it (not an investor). Janis chose just the right amount and style of furniture to make the place look inviting and stunning. It is nothing I would have ever thought of, as the house had previously been furnished in Early Pier One. Janis was professional, patient, kind and extremely fair in her pricing. There is a lot of work involved in analyzing how to furnish an empty house. Then bringing everything over, and at the end, removing it, is like moving. Her crew is very careful with all her lovely items. Pieces need to be selected both for scale size, and to suit the style and vintage of the house itself. You don't want to over-do it. Just a few precise and well-placed pieces can make a room pop. I was flabbergasted when I first saw what she had done. In fact, our buyers asked if they could purchase everything in the house, just as she had furnished it! Even if your house isn't vacant, it's really beneficial to have it professionally staged to get maximum appeal and functionality out of your own furnishings. Janis can help you de-clutter and re-arrange your own furniture, also. Her design training and an outsider's vantage point can help you think outside the box of what you've lived with for years. I highly recomend the servies of THE NOTABLY WELL-DRESSED HOME. Give Janis a call and she'll come over and explain her services and ideas with you. No pressure at all. I found her website extremely helpful before I even contacted her.

I've put it off for awhile and decided to bring in my old family snapshots before they faded away. They did a great job and put all of the images online for me to download, super simple. They actually were cheaper than the online companies that scan volume photos. That was hard to believe, but true. I didn't want to mail my photos to southern California or India.  I drove my photos to the photo store and they scanned them right there. I told them I was in no hurry so I got the $65 deal and picked up my photos about 2 weeks later. Awesome service. The only way I learned about it is because they photographed my family.

Very well. Shari caught my personality and what I wanted and then created the photographs that helped me express who I am on my website. Everyone comments on the photos and says how they capture the spirit of my work.

Brandon took beautiful photographs of our daughter!  The photographs were taken outdoors in some very creative settings.  They are magnificent!!  Brandon worked extremely well with our daughter and was able to get some amazingly candid shots.  I have worked with professional photographers before and this was the most fun we have ever had having photographs taken. Because of this wonderful photo experience and the quality photographs we received from Brandon, we have now scheduled our holiday family photographs with Brandon.

    The Picture People
I was really pleased with the picture people and they got us right in and got everything done with my mom and her dog. The pictures are great. They were willing to do what it takes to get a good picture. The dog is very old and he had a hard time moving around so instead of trying to get the dog to do what they wanted they figured out what the dog was doing and get the best picture with my mother who is also disabled. They get the best picture without making either of them uncomfortable. They offered suggestions on how to use dog trees and we don't know how to use the dog trees with the dog, but they knew how to use them. It was a wonderful experience. I would use them again.

If you don't know Jeff Painter it is because he's just that kind of quite, reserved and professional guy.  He's where he needs to be and gets the shots you want.  He has an eye for the details.  The trail of the dress or the out of place hair strand on the bride.  He gets the day from start to  finish so as the parents of the bride we could enjoy the day.  He is dedicated to his craft and the event is is capturing.  I would hire Jeff again and recommend him to anyone that needs those special moments captured.
