    Every thing went great. The team was very professional and curious. No nonsense, answering all questions. They connected my gaming computer to the TV and adjusted it to 4k quality graphics from my computer output. I wish to commend the store manager because the TV we were purchasing was a discounted return. But the store manager discovered that the Actual TV on display was not the same one as the display printout said it was. So he gave us a brand new TV at no extra cost that was the model we thought we had purchased. This resulted in a 400 dollar savings to us and a new TV. I and my wife are extremely satisfied with our experience at Best Buy and with the Geek squad. I would highly recommend Best Buy , it's sales people and it's installers to anyone.

    We called to let him know we were travelling, and was it a problem for us to drop in.  - It was not a problem.  Was there parking & turnaround for a 30' RV towing a car?  Yes - no problem.  He was able to troubleshoot the system, and got it working.  We talked to him about reception & cell service - and lack of a good signal where we both live.  We have a Wilson Signal Booster, and he talked about the newer version of the Wilson.  We bought another one!  Really personable, very nice guy!!

    Came out and did a test to determine the problem. It was the power supply for a 61 inch Mitsubishi TV. Cost to repair $900.00+ I opted not to have them do the repair. I was charged $95.00 for the service call.

    I was watching TV when I heard a "pop".  The screen went weird, could barely see anything.  I called yesterday, 1/25/12.  Scheduled an appointment for Tech to come out today 1/26/12 at noon.  Tech called first and said would be here at noon.  He was prompt and very knowledgeable.  He explained what was wrong with the TV.  (the Z-Sustenia and the Power Supply)  He said he had the parts in the shop and would take the TV to be fixed.  I explained that I needed the TV back as soon as possible, like the next day.  He said if everything goes well, he might bring it back today.  He called me and and said everything went well and all new parts were installed.  He brought back the TV about 4:45pm... Wow.

    What can I say ? 1-800-REMOTES made a dear, 83 year old lady VERY HAPPY. Mom wanted a new remote just like her old remote. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. But the good folks at 1-800-REMOTES solved the problem. We ordered the replacement remote on 06/09/2011. Later that day, an e-mail arrived from 1-800-REMOTES thanking us for our order. They said the remote would arrive in about 7 to 10 business days and would already be programmed with batteries installed. Also the remote was guaranteed for one year. The remote arrived on 06/22/2011. Mom opened the package and we read the instructions. Basically, the instructions said to point the remote at the TV and start "clicking". I had my doubts that it was going to be THAT easy. Mom pointed the new remote at her old TV, pressed the POWER button and the TV went on! I was awestruck. The replacement remote performed exactly the way the folks at 1-800-REMOTES said it would. Mom can, once again, control her TV from her chair or bed. Yes, the new remote was a bit "pricey", but worth every penny. I would recommend 1-800-REMOTES to anyone needing a new remote.

    2gek squad gentlemen came at the designated time, unpacked(neatly) the items purchased, disconnected old and help put it where it could be picked up easily. They hooked up my new tv, blue ray, & my Apple TV. The TV I ordered is a brand new model, this was the 1st one they had seen. It took 3 resets for then to get it to sync. They were very patient & persistent. Once it finally worked, they showed me how to work the remotes and how it can sync with my iPhone. Very cool. There is no way I could have installed this on my own. Their service is worth every penny. So glad I had them do it! This review is just about the Geek Squad & Best Buy in store staff. Their on line experience is not what I would EVER recommend!

    The work was performed rather quickly compared to Sears and Geek Squad, both of which quoted a minimum of two weeks before they could even look at the problem. City Electronics service call charge was $69 vs $108 and $150 for the other two. I called City Electronics on a Friday and they picked up the set the following Monday. It was repaired and back to me that Wednesday and seems to work just fine.
