    Ronin Pest Control
    I signed up for Ronin Pest Control and paid $200 for an initial service. I did not receive the service I paid for, and rather than make it right, they canceled me as a customer. I was told it would take about 30 minutes, and include a full indoor and outdoor pest inspection, full spray indoor and outdoor, looking for and removing all spiderwebs, etc. Supposedly a very thorough service. The technician came yesterday, and looking at my security system, they spent only seven minutes outdoor and only three minutes indoor. That is certainly not a thorough service, that is a rush job. There is no way that could have included everything they promised. When I called the office, they were neutral on the issue. The apologized I was unhappy, but did not seem alarmed at what happened, and offered to send the same technician back out. I said I'm not sure if I trust that technician. They got the technician on the phone and he said he did the job correctly, which still doesn't make sense. I asked to speak to a supervisor so I could discuss this issue and decide if I wanted to continue service or not. He called me back quickly, praised Ronin and himself on great customer service, admitted the technician did not do a thorough job, and offered to send him back out or refund me in full. I asked about their quality control, and asked for a different technician, because I did not trust the technician that came, for obvious reasons. Rather than agree to send out a different technician, he decided to cancel my contract and refund me in full. I made certain he knew that he could just send a new technician and not cancel my contract, but he insisted that they cancel my contract. It is shameful of Ronin to cancel my contract as if I am some problem customer, especially after admitting their technician did not give me a the full service I paid for. The correct course of action would have been to accept responsibility for the mistake, retrain their technician, and assign a different technician to my house. If they would have done that, I would have been a happy customer. I am unhappy that Ronin chose to handle this differently instead.

    Dewey Pest Control - Carson
    The service was fine, however, the person that came out did not have the silverfish packets with him. He said he was out of them and that he would have to come back. I called the next day and was told that he would leave the packes in the mailbox but he never did. I had to call 3 times and finally reached someone today and was promised that someone would come by today to drop them off. The lack of follow up was very frustrating.

    Center Termite & Pest Control Inc
    Please look at the photo of the termite damage in our house. This happened AFTER we used them for the last 2 years. Do NOT do business with this company. Over the last 2 years we have paid almost $2,000 for them to treat our house. They gave us the choice of tenting the house or treating the house by using non toxic spray in our attic and in our walls. They said that both methods would completely rid our house of termites. Come to find out that the ���guaranteed��� treatment that they provided did NOT get rid of them. So for 2 years they charged us over $300 for a so called maintenance plan. They would come out and treat the same area over and over again and their treatments would FAIL. The termites have only gotten worse in our house and are now eating through the woodwork. The absolute worst part is they will NOT stand behind their work. Please do not make the same mistake we made and hire this company. Also, if they respond to this review with excuses please do not believe them. We tried EVERYTHING to resolve this amicably and they would NOT make it right. When we tried to speak to the owner we were told he does NOT even live in California anymore and will NOT take calls.

    South Bay Bee Removal
    Not only did Sam remove the bees, he brought in an associate who removed the honeycomb and then stuccoed the wall. Very profession work and extremely reliable. The associate was paid separately for his work. I cannot say enough about the extra effort that Sam went through to get the job done. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

    The guy was tremendous. He was here early. I think all of his people work for him as opposed to sub contractors. It was a great service. It only took about a half an hour. They gave the estimate 3 days later. He was quick and the guy was nice but the price was high. He was prompt and easy to deal with. He seemed to be very knowledgeable. Gave a good first impression.

    Two people came out and looked at it. Then they sent someone to measure, several days later. I got my estimate 15 days later. He was gracious and was here when they were suppose to be here. It was a great service. We had great interaction. Gave a good first impression.

    Inspection was good--showed up on time. Treatment just as well--everyone showed up on time and the work was performed in a shorter amount of time than expected. We had orange oil treatment applied in lieu of tenting since the infestations were not that bad. Reps walked me through everything they were doing and why they were doing it. I highly recommend.

    Since we did not own the house at the time, I cannot comment on price. However, I can unequivocally state that the quality was subpar! Less than 3 years after fumigation, we observed significant termite activity, include multiple "poke holes" where termites pushed droppings out of our walls. Two separate 3rd-party inspectors have concluded that All City's work in 2013 was a "failed fumigation." When I contacted All City about this, they eventually sent out an employee, who lacked an appropriate uniform or badge. He looked at the damage and promised to discuss with the owner. Instead, we got a much-delayed report that "recommended" fumigation but only provided a quote for spot treatment. When I responded with confusion and frustration, I never received a reply from All City. Avoid All City and their fumigation subcontractor, Megafume!

    Prior to operation, I was invited to the Lomita, California office to be briefed on:

    1. How to double bag food
    2. told natural gas would be shut off
    3. what to expect
    4. warned that plants 12 to 14 inches from foundation might be contaminated

    Sept 13, 2016

    Arrived around 8:00 am
    Put up tent in 1.5 hours. Items we left out in house were double bagged. Crew left at 10:00 am.
    Gas introduced.
    Fans used to circulate fumigation gas

    Sept 14
    Fans used to remove gas

    Sept 15

    Tent removed, and crews checked for air to be pure.
    OK to enter at 9:00 am

    I feel good about the entire operation.

    The Bugman
    The Bugman was fantastic.  We have a regular pest control company that we normally use, who is also very good, but they couldn't schedule anyone to come out for a couple of weeks.  The Bugman was able to schedule us within a few days of our initial call.  The technician who came out immediately identified the insect, did a thorough inspection, and made his very reasonable recommendation.  He then scheduled with us to have another technician to come out with him to do the actual extermination.  They were able to come back within 2 days.  They eradicated the infestation, and we have not seen another one since.  I'd also like to say that their scheduler was extremely polite and professional on the phone, as were the two technicians with whom we dealt in person.
