Great! Scott was a pleasure to work with; he is direct, has an eye for style and is quite engaging. The gentlemen who did the work were very polite and professional. The job was done with lightening speed. The stain work looks beautiful.

What should've been a pretty straightforward job turned into something much bigger when we discovered the crack in the foundation. Lou helped us navigate the process, scheduled the engineers and inspectors to come out, and dealt with all the permits. Lou and his crew were always on time, professional, friendly, and very good at what they do. Lou is super detail oriented...sometimes seeing things that I didn't. There were also a couple of minor issues that came up after they were done, and he sent someone out immediately to fix them. I would definitely recommend Lou and the Stone Age crew, and will use them again in the future.

Gary was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and friendly, upfront about pricing. Appreciate that he is an honest local guy with a very hardworking and dedicated crew. I could leave them for the day trusting everything in their hands.

Project stayed on schedule and budget, Gary went the extra mile to perfect my crooked kitchen cabinets, hang new lighting and ceiling fan, door and cabinet hardware as well as visited the project personally to ensure all details were taken care of.

I would highly recommend GK painting for anyone who wants someone that will take the extra care and time to put an eye towards detail while being mindful of schedule and budget.

I very much appreciate the work Gary and his team were able to accomplish it really made our house feel like a home.

We chose Supreme Remodeling to help us with a major renovation of two bathrooms and a kitchen, fireplace refacing and new hardwood flooring. When I say major I mean it. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were completely gutted and redone. There were major changes to the layout of the plumbing and electrical. Sinks, showers and tubs were relocated. By the end of the project I would say about 70% of the plumbing and 40% of the electrical wiring was redone in our home!
We feel very fortunate to have worked with Simon for this massive project. Simon was there for us every step of the way. He gave us great advice and ideas on how to make optimal use of our space. One of his best ideas was to remove a linen closet in order to extend a bathroom wall and make room for a beautiful soaker tub!
We have a town home managed by a strict HOA located in city with even stricter city inspectors. Simon did everything according to city code and our renovations were fully permitted.
You hear a lot of horror stories with major renovations like ours and usually the trouble starts when unexpected issues come up once the walls are opened up. We also encountered unexpected issues along the way but the great thing is that Simon worked with us to come up with solutions with which we are comfortable and happy. He always found a way to solve the issue and stay on budget.
However, to be completely honest, a couple of the unexpected issues did cost us more money. One issue was that we needed a new electrical main panel because the previous one did not meet city code with the additions needed for this project. Another issue was that we discovered plumbing leaks in our garage that needed to be fixed. In all cases Simon gave us a very good price to fix the issues. In fact, he only charged us his costs to make the repairs and did not try to make additional profit. We were on a really tight budget and this really helped us out!
Speaking of budget, we got three bids before starting the project and Simon's bid was the lowest. Simon really took the time to figure out a budget for us that we could handle. We are thrilled with the final results and feel that we were treated honestly and fairly every step of the way. Simon really worked hard to make us happy. He also did a lot of extras for us. This included adding more electrical outlets in the living room, installing a bath fan in a bathroom not part of the remodel, professionally installing under cabinet lighting and a new water filtration system in the kitchen.
Thinking back on this experience, we think the greatest benefit of working with Simon was his ideas for how our space could be used optimally. Other contractors we interviewed didn't even try to think outside the box for us. They were simply going to install new cabinets, finishes, fixtures in the same layout as before. If we had chosen one of these other contractors we would never have realized the potential of our space. With another contractor we would have spent a lot more money and still not have a space that was any more functional.
    Pros
    - Great design ideas and advice. No other contractor suggested removing a linen closet to widen a bathroom. This was a fantastic idea and we have room for a beautiful soaker tub because of it!
    - High-quality work
    - They worked diligently with city inspectors so that all work is permitted
    - Simon did everything to make us happy. If we were displeased with how something was done, he would redo it to our satisfaction and not charge us a penny more
    Cons
    - The project went way over the expected timeline. This was mainly due to changes required by the city to pass inspection, running out of materials, and limitations with scheduling enough sub contractors to help get things done faster.
    - You need to stay on top of all the details. We are very picky and chose specific materials and wanted things done specific ways. We learned quickly after a few things went differently than expected that it was critical to communicate all the details as clearly and consistently as possible. But again, when mistakes were made, they were corrected to our liking.

We found them on Angie's List and the estimator turned out to be our project leader, Adam T. He and his team were wonderful to work with, especially since we had to live in a hotel while the work was going on. The entire first floor needed patching of open walls - we had the entire first floor re-piped to prevent a recurrence of the water line break that caused this. So there were holes in the walls everywhere - maybe 20 of them from floor to ceiling that the plumbing guys had left. SOD covered everything, worked efficiently, let us select new colors for the paint job, and made my wife and me happy to see them arrive. They also repaired cabinet woodwork damaged by water, and made it match the undamaged cabinetry. The result is a first floor that looks better than when they started. And if something wasn't quite right - that always happens - they promptly came back to fix it.
Would I hire again? I actually tried to hire them again when an air conditioning installation went south, but Adam advised the job was too small for them to handle efficiently and gave me good advice on getting it done at reasonable cost. Quality and integrity in a contractor - a breath of fresh air for us.

Cabinet refresh was so wonderful to work with. Nathan was our contact and we can't say enough nice things about him. He and the workers showed up on time, were respectful and friendly and the work was superb. We felt that our house was a good size job and they still managed to finish on time. The new finishes transformed the look of our house. I would recommend them to family and friends any day.
The work was done about 7 months prior to posting this review and I can say that so far the finishes have held up to the abuse of our toddler and remained very nice looking.

Initially I had given a 3 star on yelp-A-OK because the process was awful but Issac and the crew was good but after Ram the owner felt the need to harass me with a long text, two long emails and a phone call within 24 hours of my yelp review. Ram did not once asked "what he could do"  or apologize. He instead tried to badger me by using his family to guilt me into changing my review.
I am ONLY doing this because I DO NOT want anyone else to go through what I did. Below are some of the issues. I've never been more disappointed in a vendor from a personal and professional stand-point.
$36.7K paid to contractor, spent $5K in fixtures for the remodel

Ram said on numerous occasion the project would be completed in 10 days not 21 days.. I have a text where I basically said to another contractor I was going with New Look because they promise it will be done by mid December, otherwise i would have gone with my cousin's friend who was at least $5K cheaper. I opt to spend more to get the project done early. Instead majority of the project was done two days before Christmas, the final inspection on the 7th of January.

When my brand new shower did not drain, after several texts and calls I finally got a text saying "go buy liquid plumber" I just spent over $35K and he wanted me to get liquid plumber. When I insisted on the snake, you said ok but not until Monday, not Saturday. Last time I checked plumbers do work on Saturdays. Then Sunday night after midnight I get a text the plumber is sick and will now come Tuesday, there is only one plumber? It doesn't matter I was inconvenient for three days. Perhaps if the contractor was local he would have come over the same night to check the drain himself instead of telling me to go buy some liquid plumber. I was absolutely flabbergasted!

Ram is taking credit for all the work but how did he help me with the design? I picked all the fixtures. In fact for the kitchen that came out nicely the comments I get from my friends are because they love the farm sink, faucet and the glass cabinet. Ram actually tried to talk me out of the farm sink saying it was a fad. I said I didn't care I wanted the farm sink. I pick the farm sink and faucet. The glass doors that was my idea. In fact the first time they return with the newly painted cabinet,  the cabinet doors did not have the glass doors and I had to tell him. causing a delay. Perhaps if the contractor was on site more he would have caught this mistake. I made the decision to paint the cabinets white and counter top. The ONLY thing they helped me with was the backsplash. One of 5 main items does not make it their design the last time I checked.

The master bathroom -everything was personally picked and design by me, nothing was from the contractor. Not only the vanity shelves was ignored in hopes I wouldn't notice, I was suppose to have two niches but only one was installed.
The only room they had a major influence was the guest bathroom and as you can see, it is average, essentially looks the same, lights weren't centered (no attempt to correct it despite my comment). :(

When i said I would like to clean the floors after majority of the work was done, Ram said, "don't worry you can clean, I will make sure people take off their shoes". What do I see when i come back from work,Ram in his shoes, the photographer in her shoes walking around my house..including the carpet..Picture of Ram with his shoes on my shower door was extremely disrespectful and rude. They made a you tube video and put my entire address!!! When I asked him to remove my address he said he would change it that night but nope, he did not and I had to email him the next day to have him remove my address, how dispectful and dangerous to post my address for anyone and everyone to see.

The tiles, yes I know I picked expensive design. However Ram said "don't worry Linda, I know what you like I can get the tiles a lot cheaper somewhere else, example was the stone tile for the walk in shower floor, he said he can get it for me for $6 a sq ft vs. the $15, when I inquire about the extra $1,500 and why it was so much more than what they estimated. His response"I didn't have time, so I just bought it at Imperial". Absolute no regard for my financial situation.

I paid for 6 pull out drawers but only 5 of the 6 was installed. The 6th drawer was just set aside with no explanation to why it wasn't being installed. Does this warrant a rating more than 2?
There are more folks..Issac and the workers were in most part good. I truly believe it really is best to have a local contractor so they can be available and foresee any issues. I had several friends going through the remodel at the same time I was and they all used someone locally or someone they knew personally.

They contract out the work and I felt like going through Home Depot it was like an extra sort of security on the company so if something went wrong, I have to come back to Home Depot that is the main reason. I didn't have any complaints at all, they are all very good, its fine, I had a second quote and they're about of the same price, the quality is very good, excellent, no problem.

Cabinets were damaged when a pin hole leak in water pipe above ceiling leaked onto tops of several cabinets.  The cabinets were removed and damaged area cleaned and restored.  Attention to detail, color matching of wood and re-install of cabinets were completed within 3-4 weeks.

From start to finish, Danny and his team provided the most professional and high quality work. They painted our entire interior including cabinets, banisters, with scent walls. The attention to detail has made our town home into something really special. I appreciated his professional and upbeat manner, and real pride in his work. Danny was always very prompt and detailed in his responses to my inquiries. His team was meticulous and very polite. My father is a picky architect and has praised the quality of the work. We are very happy we went with this company. Sincerely, very Happy redondo beach customers
