    Master Painting and Remodeling
Where do I begin with this company? First off, I needed help with remodeling the house and I tried to do it myself, and that didnt work out so well. I went to Google and looked up remodeling companies around the area and I found this company on there. I was scared and nervous, but gave in and gave them a call. They were very helpful and the quality of the remodeling was amazing. The contractors and handymen that came over who did the two bedrooms and bathrooms were amazing and friendly throughout the process. They even did pressure cleaning and roof cleaning which saved me a lot of time of doing as well. I would definitely recommend Master Painting and Remodeling for any of their services. The staff were amazing and friendly throughout the process.

    Maintenance Magic
Couldn't have been better!! Chip and a colleague arrived on time with all the materials and tools they needed. The caulking they brought was not a perfect match so Chip provided potential options and then went out and found one that worked beautifully. They were both courteous, clean and efficient throughout. I added some projects and they were happy to be flexible and prioritize what I needed. Chip has now been out a second and third time. I was not able to be there on the last visit so my neighbor let him in. She was impressed and happy to "finally find a good handyman." He is not the cheapest option around, but the quality and reliability is well worth the money.

I waited for this company to contact me, I had to call him a week later when he proceeded to tell me that he was no longer providing that type of service (?) but he would do the work anyway. We scheduled a day for him to come out, that day came and he was a no show. Horrible business practice.

A++++ work again! Paul did some work for me in the morning, and then after my solar lights got delivered, he came back the same afternoon and installed the lights for me! He is such a sweet and considerate guy. Highly recommend!!!!

    JC's Handyman Service
They showed up on time and ready to work. The first three repairs went quickly and smoothly. The fourth task proved to be a bit of a challenge because the door/doorknob hardware was original to the house (built in 1936) and required some modifications and tweaking to accommodate the more modern deadbolt assembly. They stayed patient, though, and completed the installation to my satisfaction.
I would definitely use them again.

Paul is a fantastic guy.  He has a great work ethic and attitude.  He is very professional and personable.  I admire the fact that he brought is son along to instill in him the importance of those same traits.  Working with Paul has been a breath of fresh air with the ever increasing decline of good customer service.  I will definitely be using Paul again.  Keep up the great work Paul !

Not a bad start; was on time and completed the work in a reasonable period of time. I thought this was going to be great.
The problems arose a few weeks after the job was completed. The epoxy floor in the garage began to peel (they had promised that all directions were followed and we even left the car out of the garage an extra day more than recommended to be sure the epoxy was completely set). About the same time, the kitchen cabinets they had painted began to peel.
After contacting them about the problem, it took another week to get an response. A date was set for them to come and look at the garage floor with the epoxy rep. They never showed up. After several hours I called and he said he was sorry but was busy at a job. I told him I was upset and wanted some action. He gave me another date and time and I asked that he call me with a confirmation prior to coming since I had to leave work to be there and it was a big inconvenience.
I never received a call for that appointment and when I got home from work, I found out he had showed up and completed the assessment of the floor without me.
I didn't receive a call until days later and he proceeded to blame me for driving onto the floor too soon but that  the rep had agreed to provide new epoxy and that he would do the labor for free (how nice!).
Now, 3 months later, I still have had no contact with this so-called professional and have decided to buy the epoxy myself and do the work myself. I frankly never want to hear this guys voice again.
The cabinets on the kitchen continue to peel and I've had to re-paint sections and then do a gloss coating to keep them from peeling.
This guy pretends to know and be an expert on everything. To me, he's the proverbial jack-of-all-trades and master of none. I was also extremely unhappy with his lack of listening skills. He pretends to listen and then does exactly the opposite. Super frustrating!
Finally, I got the feeling that he has a chip on his shoulder about anyone telling him what to do.

Unfortunately, I did not have the positive experience with Robert that many of the other individuals here have had. I began with Robert in May of this year.  He was hired to do small handyman-type tasks (ie, install some short fencing around 2 small planters, replace a mailbox, place wooden barrels in the front yard for flowers, put up a purchased wooden lattice along a wall, etc), unlike some of the larger projects others here have had done.  Robert shared with me that he was trying to start a small business to assist with the workload and to do larger projects such as remodels, etc, which were the types of projects that he preferred doing and really enjoyed.  I should have taken a cue from that - small tasks such as mine just were not that important and getting him to my house to do them was very difficult.  I felt as if I was constantly calling/texting him to give me a date/time to do the tasks, then he would come over on an afternoon for a few hours at a time instead of just scheduling 2-3  full days to complete everything and be done!  As time went on, I found that I was going to Home Depot/Lowe?s to obtain the needed lumbar/supplies, the paint/brushes/trays and I began painting the needed trim wood, etc., just to make it easier/faster for him to get the tasks done.  Of the 16 items on the list, I began triaging which ones had to be done now and which ones could be put on hold just so I could get the critical items completed, resulting in a much smaller list than what I began with.  Unfortunately, despite all this, the 4 most important projects never even got started, despite the fact that I obtained the needed supplies, painted the wood, etc (it?s still sitting in my backyard).  After I called/texted him several times in June, Robert responded in July and stated he would give me a date when he would complete the ?critical? projects and we agreed that I would forget the other items on the list.  I never heard back from him.  Perhaps Robert does better with the projects that are more in line with the business that he was in the process of building, but for true handyman-type items, I was very disappointed and unfortunately cannot in all good conscience recommend him.

Painting went as described above, very clean and professional.  Also was able to complete the work on a very short time frame.
We purchased a home and had one week prior to moving in.  We initially met Robert on a Saturday morning, and he was able to have the work completed by the next Saturday.  This was especially impressive considering the Friday was the 4th of July.  It should be noted that Robert does not do the tile work himself.  He subcontracts it out.  That being said, the people he brought in did an amazing job and were very professional.
I would certainly choose to use Robert again and can highly recommend him.

Rick was Awesome. I left a message from him on July 4th he called me that same day and to my surprise was able to come the following day to do the job. Before talking to Rick I had called another person on Angie's list that quoted me $250 which I thought was ridiculous. So when I talked to rick and he gave me his estimate I was so happy his estimate was considerably lower and a price that I thought was fair. He is a honest person, doesn't try to swindle you. He makes sure you are completely happy with the job before he leaves. I already have a list of other projects I want him to do :)
