    I always used Dr. Goedert's office lens and frame shop simply out of convenience since I have a busy schedule. The last couple of time I went to see Dr. Goedert I was not happy with my frames and lenses. I felt like the ladies didn't take me seriously when I told them of the problems I was having with my lenses and frames. When I explained the problem I was having one lady said something like, and quot;well that's what it's like getting older, nothing is going to be perfectand quot;. I wasn't looking for perfect glasses, just a workable solution. Even though I don't like my frames and the lensed are weaker than my old pair, I don't want to go back in to return them.

    I was a new patient. This was the first time to his practice. Overall the experience was good. He was very professional in his exam. My only compliant was they charged a fee for a contact fitting which had never happened with my old provider. My vision insurance covered everything but that charge. I think this charge should have been part of the exam fee. But overall my experience was still good but would warn people of this contact fitting charge.

    I have been seeing Dr. Goedert for several years. He is friendly and personable and I appreciate his sense of humor and good nature. I had signs of glaucoma several years ago and Dr. Goedert always studies my eye images very carefully and points out where the blood vessels are, and reassures me there is no change. I feel comfortable with Dr. Goedert and trust his expertise. Dr. Goedert's staff is friendly and courteous.

    I have been to others before Dr. Ward.  The biggest difference between him and the others I have been to is his care.  He remembers you and he remembers conversations that you have had in the past.  He still remembers the treatments and the past things that we have had done and tried for my son.  He always brings them back up.  I have got no problems with him.  I have gone in there for contacts after waiting until I put the last pair in.  He will just give you some out of a case and he will make sure you have got some in case something happens while yours are coming in.  They generally come in within 2 or 3 days anyways.  He doesn't want something to happen where you are left without them.  He will give them out of his own stock and he never expects to be paid back for them.  I am pretty sure the ones that are in their cases they probably get free from brand name companies trying to get people to buy from them.  My next appointment is probably 3 months away.

    My husband has been using this eye doctor for many year. We live in Anderson so it is a drive. But my husban is loyal. This year for his check up he needed new glassees. He had to go back 5 times to get his glass were he could wear them and still has problem. He also wanted contacts. His doctor charges $50.00 for a contact visit on top of the charges for the contacts themself. He had to go back 3 times for these. The called and reschudeld his appointment but asked if he could come in two hours before his appointment to wear his contact then come back. He explained that this would be hard due to work and such. He asked if he could pick them up Friday and come for his appointment on the schuduled time. The lady who worked there Jackie put him on hold while she asked the doctor. She said yes that would be fine and he informed her I would be picking them up since I worked in town. That was fine. When I arived on Friday I was told that I couldn't pick them up and I shouldn't have been told that. I called my husband he called the office who informed him that the doctor was out sick and Jackie no longer worked there. He explained that it was ok by her and the doctor. She then hung up. I went in again and explain the problems we have had so far and she said nothing. I called my husband who informed me that it has been to much of an issue to get his record. I asked for her for his record she gave them to me without a records release and was very rude. I told her we also wanted a refund for the contacts since we will be getting them. She stated we will not be getting a refund. When I got home my husband was talking to the office and stated if they doctor didn't call he would be finding a new doctor she hung up on him stating that they doctor was out sick. But my husband knew that wasn't true because they reschudeled him from that day because she was taking a personal day. After an hour she called back and said sorry she was wrong and she could bring the contact to me on her lunch break on monday. My felt was too little to late. She should have talked to her boss before she made us feel like idoits. I wear glasses and contact and I have never had so many problems getting it right.

    THIS WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF HAVING EYES TESTED, FRAMES, AND LENS MADE ALL IN ONE DAY. IT WAS THE BEST EYE EXAM I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY, AND SERVICE WAS GREAT.
