The office staff was very friendly and greeted my by name. They offered me tea or treats that they have in the office at all times. The chiropractor I saw was friendly and adjusted my back and knee so that I could walk out feeling considerably better than when I walked in. I was very pleased with the results.

Unbeleivable! My husband and I responded to a newspaper ad that this provider runs frequently. When I made the initial appointment for my husband at $17, I was offered one for $10, providing I came with him. This appointment was to cover all x-rays, the exam, detailied findings, and in the words of the ad, "the hole ball of wax." We closed our business to be there together. Upon our arrival, we were met by an overly friendly receptionist whom talked very loud and justified it by repeatedly stating that "we are all family here". I found myself woundering if she knew what HIPPA laws are. We began going through the motions, x-rays, some sort of tox-screen that still hasn't been explained to me and wasn't done for my husband. When I asked why, I was told I was the toxic one. Then there was computer testing that we are still not quite grasping. In the middle of the appointment we were told the appointment was over and we would have to come back to talk to the Doctor. The next appointment was shceduled two days later, again at the expense of our business as of course were required to attend together. Additionally during this first appointment the receptionist felt the need to comment and give inaccurate and unsolicited advise on a converstion she overheard me having with another patient in the waiting room. We were given the computer generated reports on our spinal cords which were not explained except to say that we were in bad condition and sent on our way. The next appointment got even weirder. The staff was still way to friendly, as charactarized by their speaking to us as if we were five years old. The recetionsist now felt the need to paw at my husband while she spoke. We were ushered into the Doctor's personal office just like the first appointment and shown a video, which the staff was sure to tell us the Doctor produced it. He eventually he came in and went over our x-rays.He used his own x-rays for comparison stating that his spine used to look like ours. He went on for quite some time setting the stage for his next blow. After explaining how horrific our conditions are (and mine truely is), and wiggling out of all of my questions, he presented us with the big whammie. We received very colorful folders containing a huge bill for each. He then went on a tangent that I can only compare to a starving used car salesman. It really freaked both my husband and myself out. This guy had the odasity to tell us that he does not take payment at the time of service, but instead our "discounted by 20%" bill was nearly $11,000 due by our next appointment, and we were now required to attend his new patient orientation. He was nice enough to give us free admission tickets for the orientation. When I explained that we did not have the resources to do things this way (which was my nicest way of saying "are you nuts"?) he suggested we use a family members or a friends line of credit or credit card to "come up with the money." He followed this up with statements about how concerned he was for our health. So, as I felt my blood pressure skyrocketing, this guy begins to crowd our personal space while we're trying to leave his office. He became very intense and I couldn't beleive what was occurring. I thought I might have a flippin stroke any minute. Then, as we are exiting the building, the overly friendly recetionist follows us out to our car only to begin to paw at my husband again, and ask for a bid to detail her vehicle. I had heard of Angie's list and after speaking with my husband, I can only say beware. All of this happened and we still need to be adjusted.
