My family's experience w/ George Karapetian. He was my Dad's Primary doctor. Dr. Karapetian sent my Dad to do a colonoscopy on a Monday. By Thursday my Dad was complaining of shortness of breath and fatigue. My Mom scheduled an appt. with Dr. Karapetian on Monday because Memorial care medical group couldn't see him Thur or Friday. On Sunday my Dad was feeling really bad, so he went to Memorial care urgent care and was seen by Julie Beck. My Dad told Julie he had Pain when he breathed in and was feeling ill. Julie Beck gave him heartburn medicine and sent him away. The next day my Dad had his appointment with Dr. Karapetian. My Mom drove him as he was feeling ill and he told Dr. Karapetian that he had severe pain when he breathed in and was feeling ill since the colonoscopy. My Mom asked if we should take my Dad to the emergency room. Dr. Karapetian said its not necessary. That night my Dad died in his sleep. I tried to save him but I couldn't. I just had to watch him die. He had suffered a massive pulmonary embolism. That was our experience with Dr. Karapetian

    Hatem-Gerro, Dr. Marsha A
Dr. Gerro is a great doctor, who communicates well and truly listens to both the parent AND THE CHILD, who is in fact the actual patient. This is a fact ignored by most pediatricians, and the fact that Dr. Gerro really addresses the CHILD, I think, makes her truly special. She also doesn't rush you out of a room just because it's busy, which is not to say she runs late, either, but she clearly schedules appointments ALLOWING for adequate time to interact with her patients. That's a special skill, too!

    Saad, Dr. Nadra (Monica)
Front Office - They are polite enough, but not particularly friendly or welcoming. My only real complaint is that I have been placed on "hold" only to be hung up on way too many times. Facilities - I love that there are seperate sick and well waiting rooms. The restroom and waiting areas are always clean. Medical Staff - I really like all the medical assistants and they are always gentle and loving with my baby. Dr. Saad - Takes as much time as needed so that you feel well informed, cared for, and clearly understand the situation and course of treatment. Before my daughter was even a patient she gave me her e-mail address and told me contact her if I had any questions. When I said that I was a new mom and had about 100 questions a day, she said that was great because a concerned mother was a good mother. Wait time - The down side to Dr. Saad giving such personalized attention and service is the sometimes long wait time. But it is well worth it.

I LOVE Dr. Nish. He was my pediatrician from the time I was in the fourth grade on, as well as the pediatrician for all 3 of my siblings. Now he is my daughter's pediatrician. He is a caring, thoughtful doctor. He always listens and takes as much time as necessary to answer all of my questions. His office staff, Nancy and Kathy, are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They often answer many of my questions over the phone. I highly recommend Dr. Nish!

I take my newborn to Dr. Nylander, who is new to Mia Bella. Both Dr. Nylander and the whole office staff are excellent. I have had no problems being seen when needed, or getting return calls. Dr. Nylander is also a lactation consultant, so she's been helpful in answering my breastfeeding questions. I also really appreciated that when I asked her about her parenting style, she was open about her personal approach, but said that her approach worked for her, but that she prefers to work with parents and their children to determine which approach works best for them.

I can get in very fast any time I call for an appointment, and he doesn't take very long. He is very quick with the appointment time, you can get right in, right out. He even came to see my son on his day off. My son was sick, and he came to the office on a Sunday, and he has done that twice. There was a time when I called him after office time, and he came back. He accommodates us. He is a very good doctor, he always accommodates me.

    Khanna, Dr. Happy
Prior to that, my daughter was diagnosed with something strange and she went out of her way to make sure that my daughter was taken care of. She called me at home to make sure that she was doing okay. I have had her as a pediatrician a long and she is just excellent. She is very dedicated to children. I can tell she loves her job. She is very busy.

They have an urgent care and a radiology center. They have whatever we need for kids. They have almost everything. They have an eye doctor as well. I really like the urgent care.

In the past their office staffs were not friendly, but they have replaced them and they are friendly now. If you have an appointment with them, usually you don't have to wait very long before they see you. What I love about them is that they have walk-in hours in the morning, so when you wake up in the morning and your kid is sick, you can just take them in the morning to them in the walk-in hours. We have been very happy with them and we have never even considered changing even though we have moved and now it is farther away. They are really good with their existing patients. I like that they have a sick side and a well side separated by a wall providing the two areas. Once you check in, you either go to the sick side if your kid is sick or you just sit on the well side if he is just there for an annual physical. I had no problem with their billing and administration.

I like all the doctors that they have. I haven't seen them all but everyone who myself and my son has seen are great. I think they're all very knowledgeable and what I like is if they don't know they don't try and tell you that they know everything. I've gone to 3 or 4 of the doctors there and I like them. They're good, they're reliable, they know what they're doing, they're well-educated and they give you good advice. I'm not sick often and I don't have any major problems. I had a friend that goes to them and she always thought they treated her very well.
