He knows my health needs and he responds to me appropriately.  I feel like he is up on the latest information and studies as related to women's health care.  I like him and I have no ties to him other than I've gone to him for a long time.

I have been seeing this OBGYN for over 13 years. She is a phenomenal doctors, amazing bedside manner, very thorough and listens to your concerns. She shows a genuine interest in her patients and does not hurry you out regardless of how many patients she has that day. The office environment is very inviting and relaxing. Even though I've moved further away from the area I continue to drive out to see her for my regular check-ups.

I just arrived home and still trying to process the whole experience, so here it goes. I have been having stomach problems so with high hopes I made appointment with Dr, Abdelkarim based on reviews. As I look back the first appointment was not pleasant, being told that I had to have a better attitude, I left thinking that was not appropriate, or maybe I just overreacted, I had the required tests hoping today in my follow up appointment I would be provided finally with some answer?s to my stomach problems,

After the doctor walked in and told me the test results were all normal, and went on to tell me that " I was crazy" I was not sure if he was serious so I smiled and I was meet with stare from him, he went on to ask me how I was doing, I explained that I was still having same problems, he said he would schedule a colonoscopy, I expressed my disappointment with a sigh, he said hold on and walked out, came back with a request for further blood work thinking I already had a extensive blood and fecal tests done but ok I will have them done. When I asked when should I make another appointment, he processed to tell me " two, three, four weeks or when ever you felt like it". I was taken back with the answer expecting some guidance. Maybe its a valid answer to him but I felt he was brushing me off and on to the next patient.

I thought about posting this review, had I over analyzed ? I have come to the conclusion that no. When I have a medical problem, I expect better yet, I demand to be treated with respect, not be told I?m crazy, have to have a better attitude, and made to feel my symptoms were not important.

In respect to the office staff, they are pleasant and attentive.

After an initial consultation during which Dr. Ratner indicated that only the one should be extracted because of a flap of gum which caused food particles to become lodged, I underwent the extraction on 5/2/13, following a month of worrying about the procedure. My worry was for naught, inasmuch as the procedure was absolutely painless and the pain after was pretty much minimal. The Doctor and his staff are extremely caring and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this doctor and office for oral surgery and would not hesitate to return, if necessary. This is a great doctor with an excellent staff!!!

There's very little waiting time with Dr. Roth. He's extremely helpful and his staff is as well. No one holds a candle to Dr. Roth-he's extremely respectful of you as an individual. I've been seeing for 3 years. He's incredible.

Went to see Dr. Roth for recurring pain / muscle spasm in legs. Previous general practitioner just didn't listen to what I had to say
and instead kept marketing flu shots, pneumonia shots etc. Never looked at my legs.
Dr. Roth actually sits and listens and ask questions to ferret out the information needed to make an educated diagnosis. He has a systematic approach , starting with easiest and least invasive first and working from there. I was very pleased with the undivided attention I received and subsequent care.
Appointments are relatively easy to get and if you need to be seen on emergency basis, they'll try to squeeze you in. Waiting times are minimal. Office is new, clean and up to date. Staff is courteous and friendly.
I will continue to see Dr. Roth. He is my new general practiioner.

Overall, I am highly satisfied with Dr. Abdelkarim.  He is very knowledgable and very dedicated.  When I was in the hospital he was very diligent about coming to see me and making sure that I was receiving the right care and treatment.  He returns telephone calls and spends an appropriate amount of time listening and talking.  I believe that Dr. Abdelkarim is one of the best doctors I have ever had and I feel comfortable with his knowledge and care.  I recommend him very highly.

He was complete. He is one of these doctors who explains me to take preventive measure. He is pretty direct in his diagnosis and his treatment plan. It was the first time I ever had to use a cardiologist.

He is by far, hands-down, the best doctor I have met. I have been seeing him for twenty years. Every Friday he has a prayer group with all those employees and his patients are welcome to participate. They close down on Friday for the prayer group and if someone is ailing badly, he will say a good prayer for them. He cares about people. He is not a money grabber. If a person can't pay and they need his help, he will. As far as I am concerned, the man walks on water. If he can't figure it out, he will not rest until the medical problem is figured out. He will send you to people that specialize in that problem, and then he follows up with the doctor, on his own to see to it that his patient is doing fine. He does not have a secretary calling; he follows up on his own with”how is my patient doing, what's going on”. He will go to the point where he will get a release of medical records on his patient to find out how his patient is doing. He is just that good. He cares. The only thing I don't like with his practice is that if you get an appointment at one O' clock, you will be lucky to see him by three. He is available all the time but because he does not leave his patients with, “I don't know”. He just won't, it filters down to the next patient who is waiting for him. He just will not give up until it is resolved. He is not just going to say”take a few of these and call me in the morning” and move on to the next guy. If it takes three times as long in the room of running tests or whatever, so be it. Getting in to see him is very, very difficult but if you want to have whatever is ailing you over with right then, then that is the man you go talk to. He is South Korean, born and bred here, so there is no accent at all. He explains everything in the minute detail of what that particular disease, infection, or problem is before he moves forward. If he doesn't have the expertise, he won't just wean it, he would say, “this is out of my field of study and I can give you a list of people I went school with that are in that field of study, that I know personally, and stay in touch with.” He will even get on the phone make the appointment for you and not push it off to his girls to do it, because as far as he is concerned, if he puts it out to one of his girls, it may not get done properly. He is very, very adamant. You can die unless you get permission to die.

I would recommend him to anyone seeking a good internal doctor. He has saved my life twice now. He listens clearly, really listens and orders the proper testing and his skillful diagnotics are incredibly helpful. I'd had colon problems for years and other doctors would just give me advice. One day I mentioned it to this doctor and he didn't take it lightly like others had. He immediately ordered three tests. He found an extended colon and surgery was necessary. Surgery revealed pre-cancerous problems. Like I said, he saved my life. During another time he found that I had a heart problem that typically would be dismissed as apnea. I didn't have sleep apnea.. my heart was stopping. He sent me to a cardiologist and the two of them determined I needed a pace maker. He is a terrific doctor.
