    Aetna Inc
Not be so stingy about what you’ll pay for and what they won’t. The claims are fine. It’s just the things that my doctor would like to do or won’t do like a different medicine. They get really dorky about that. I’m trying to get some work done on my teeth now and they don’t cover it but they do cover special aspects of it which I understand. So far, we haven’t been able to get their attention. They just keep saying no that they don’t cover that. They are very responsive. I don’t always like what they say.

They give me typically an automated message saying your prescription will be expiring and we can fill that prescription or if you need more prescriptions call us. They typically do the job and then my doctor calls them from his office. I was with him about a week ago or so and because my prescriptions and medications were expiring, most of them or all of them, except for supplimentary iron presciption that I take. When I go in and get like 3 meds, I only pay such a small amount like $8.

It is always great. They have clinics all over Southern California that they can go for primary care and if they need referral care, they will refer them to specialists for whatever specialty they think the patient may need in terms of extra care.

I was able to get my colonoscopy and I can get all my medical services through them. I don't have any major medical issues. I'm probably one of their and ldquo;Aand rdquo; patients; I never get sick and I never use their services. When you are 61, you have to keep your eye on your health. My copay for my colonoscopy was only $40.

I have used them for years and years.  I had a physical about nine months ago, and it was like nothing.  I have insurance through my work until I turn 65.  The physical included blood work and practically nothing else.  They didn't check my heart.  I was so disappointed.  However, everything else I've had them do has been fine.

There have been a couple of times where I was not too pleased.  They have got their act together.  They are relatively new although I have been using them for a while now.  I switched to them from another provider just for philosophical reasons.  I have heard some bad things about that providers labor practices.  I was going to them for the longest time and finally I was reading things about that provider so I switched because of the exploitation.  Their act is better now.  For a while I got the impression that they were having problem with their computers.  One basic thing is when I changed doctors they kept the one of the doctor’s name coming on to my labels of my prescription instead of the right one and this went on for a while.  I asked them at one time to take care of that and it did not get fixed and it got a little irritating there.  They have got it pretty much ironed out now.  I have not changed because they are conveniently located to where I live now.

We get the pharmacy benefit at a wholesale price; so usually it is quite less expensive. They are able to provide us a lower cost on some of the trade brand name drugs. I don’t need a membership to use their pharmacy services. We have been using Costco Pharmacy for around twelve years. I have not used other pharmacies. We have been using the Costco Pharmacy we go to now for one year. Their pharmacists are very approachable and they seem to be concerned. We would continue to use them in the future.

We like that he just gives the care that we need. He also communicates very well. He seems to have enough time for us, listens to our concerns and he tailors the treatment to what we want and don't want to do. He also gives alternative things that we can do and it is just a very positive kind of experience.

My mother-in-law was admitted in poor shape suffering from recurrent infections from multiple hip surgeries. While she unfortunately did not survive, the care she received and the compassion we were all shown was vastly superior to what we experienced at St. Bernardine Medical Center.

I was there in observation for two days. They were very prompt, careful and knowledgeable. They kept me in observation and did more to make sure I was fine. I had a lot of nurses and doctors checking me. The staff was very good. You have to wait most of the time a lot.
