    Affordable Handyman and Remodeling Services
I am the Office Manager for a busy family practice in Rancho Cucamonga. Jose and his crew have been fantastic! Very responsive and helpful. In the last round of rain, Jose called me on the weekend to see if he could go by and check the roof as the practice had been experiencing leaks and he wanted to be sure they were okay. I have been directly working with Jose for greater than 4 years and trust his work and honesty implicitly !! I strongly recommend Jose for any work that is within his scope of services.

    STEVE BURNS CONSTRUCTION
Steve arrived on time for an estimate and gave us a reasonable price within a few days of examining the work to be done. His bid went further, and at a lower cost, than others. It included routering out the boards so that they could be attached with invisible fasteners.
He and his 2-man crew arrived when expected, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The project took 4 days and he checked in daily when he arrived and when he left. The job was beautifully done, and we are very happy with the result.

Better then I expected on a project of this size. The workers were neat and efficient and work was finished per schedule The project manager was very helpful and offered good suggestions. Overall, good value for the money.

    Roof Rx
They appeared a little late, not much, and completed the work. Since I am not an expert it looked like the work was completed. After they were finished I noticed a corner tile that was not replaced and they said it was not on the original work order and the estimator would call me. He never did and the only contact I received were emails. I have been remiss at contacting you, but I feel personal contact should be made by your company to me especially when you spend almost $2000. With your company.
I also feel your estimator should have done a more thorough job at estimating the job and taken the time to clarify if the eves wre part of the job or not.

    Barrett Brown Dba Handyman Can

I missed the low interest refinance window due to this man.

The work was not started within five days.

He or his crew showed up sporadically.  At one point the workers had no way home and had to wait for him for about two hours.  Another time his "foreman" brought his own car, but begged money for gas to get home (I deducted this amount from my payments).  Another worker on another occasion tried to beg money for food since he was not sure he was going to be paid.

My ladders were used exclusively for high work.  My patio chairs were used for lower work and as a result have paint footprints.  My utility buckets were left with paint dried in and on them, some plastic buckets were split or broken.

Paint drips are on my patio and other outside concrete.

A lot of surfaces are only partially painted.

There are several places where dry rot was not addressed at all.

The roofing "repairs" on the patio were accomplished (?) by peeling back the roofing, replacing some of the T111 and reapplying the same roll roofing.  Not all of the affected T111 was replaced,  and not all was painted.

Some woodwork was done.  Painting was done over all superficial and obviously visible surfaces.  The inspector said the work wasn't even close to acceptable. Mr. Brown has offered to finish the job for $15,000.00 more.

I have been quoted (later) that the entire job should have cost about $800.00

    Crown Home Center Inc
From the time Noah arrived at the door, I knew we were in good hands: his demeanor was professional, he was well-kempt, in company uniform, and unfailingly polite.

He asked to be shown the affected area, then told us what needed to be done, then asked if we had any pets to be concerned about! (We do; an eighteen pound attack cat - Salem - who always tries to sneak out.)

The work took a total of three days, the plumbing, sub-floor carpentry, concrete and tile work, finish carpentry on the base boards with difficult cuts in tight areas are phenomenal!

Best of all, the company is about commitment to customer service.

    D R Bradford Construction Company
Dennis started the day he said he would and has been on the project every day. We had good communication with him. He did everything he said he was going to do . A very good attitude. Listened to what I wanted. Made suggestions if he needed to.

    D R Bradford Construction Company

I typically would have gotten several names of carpenters off Angie's List and had quotes provided to me but due to a lack of finish carpenters on Angie's List in the Inland Empire and time constraints, Dennis was the only one I contacted.  He came by to discuss the jobs and provided a quote a few days later.  I was a little surprised by the price for the single door install, approximately $500 but went ahead with the job anyway given I didn't have any other quotes to compare with.  We scheduled the first job and Dennis finished it within a day.  The door he chose was perfect for the application, the work was professional and looked great.  He was prompt and did an excellent job of cleaning up the area prior to leaving.

The next job was somewhat more complex and required a few discussions about the design strategy.  Dennnis was patient and provided his opinion when asked without being overbearing.  It was important to us to maintain the arched opening to the room, enclose the lower area, install the french doors, while trying to make it look like the builder designed the house that way.

We had to choose the french door design and Dennis uses Carey Building Supplies in San Bernardino.  The only criticism I have for this whole process was Carey Building Supplies.  They were non-responsive to Dennis and to me and I actually had Dennis price the doors at Home Depot due to my frustration.  Carey ended up cheaper so we proceeded (painfully) with them.

Overall, the Dennis' work was outstanding and I would not hesitate to use him again.

    Mr. Handyman of Rancho Cucamonga
The repairman arrived on time and was very polite and professional.  He got to work right and away and soon discovered that not only was the seal around the disposal  rotted, but the disposal itself was corroded.  He went to a warehouse store to buy the disposal (he did inform me of the approximate price) and the wood needed to replace what was already below the sink.  He also bought some paint so that the wood replacement would match my kitchen cabinets.  I can't say enough good things about the quality of work and professionalism of the job.  I'm so happy with everything.  The new wood looks fantastic and the disposal runs like a dream!  I will use Mr. Handyman in the future.  Oh, I was also given a $25 discount that was available through the Angie's List add.

    Charlie Mann The Handymann
I got the reference for "Charlie Mann the Handyman" from Angie's List with very high recommendations so I gave him a try and am I ever glad I called! I had 2 wooden gates that I thought were warped from the rain and a French door that I was having problems closing. He answered my call promptly and came out the same day. He discovered the problem was not what I thought at all -- the door and the gates had not been properly installed to begin with and just needed the correct size screws. He worked quickly and efficiently, and fixed the problem at less cost than I had expected. I will definitely use him again. This is the BEST HANDYMAN I have every worked with!
