Tree Service reviews in Rancho Cordova

    Quality Tree Care
OMG! I sat and watched a crew of 6 do the whole job in less than 2 hours. The tree was in a tight place between 2 houses, so safety for the houses as well as the workers was critical. They had the right equipment: wood grinder, wood chipper, huge truck and all wore safety helmets and glasses. This co. works together like a fine oiled machine. Everything was left clean including my rood and gutters. Thanks to Omar Ramero for taking the time to talk to me and being fair with the price. BESOS to all!

    Bell's Tree Service
Jeannette Bell came to give me a price on the job. She is so great to work with as I have had her company do many other jobs in the past. The crew showed up right on time. We went over the job. They answered all my questions in detail. I always feel that they really want to do a good job for me and they do. I highly recommend this company!

    Capital Tree Service
Brad and his team were very professional and responsive. I was able to get this off of my to do list! The turnaround time from quote to service was incredible. Brad offered some tips regarding my other trees and never pressured me into additional work. I will definitely hire Capital tree service in the future for a tree removal. It seems good work is rare these days, but not in this case. Brad and team were outstanding.

    Bailey Tree Company Inc
I picked Bailey Tree Company because of all the good reviews they got on Yelp. I am happy with the work they did at my home but I am not happy with the mess they left behind. First, they did not show up the day they said they would. When I called them a half hour past my given time window to see where they were, they said they could not make it and would be out early the next day. I had canceled appointments to be home, so I was annoyed. I did ask for a discount being I had wasted a day waiting for them. All they took off was $25. The next day, however, they showed up on time and did a great job cutting down the 3 trees I had them do. However, the contract I signed said they would remove the trees. They did not at the time. They put the smaller branches through a wood chipper, but stacked the bigger logs on the curb in the street in front of my home and wrapped them in caution tape. They also put a sign there advertising their company. They never came back to haul away the wood. Instead, while I was at work, some random old guy in a white pickup parked in front of my house. He got out, looked at the sign Bailey left in my yard and got on his cell phone (I have a security camera out front, so I saw it happen). He then proceeded to chop up some of the logs and put them in his truck. He left the remaining ones scattered in the street. Before he left, he walked up to my front door while I wasnt home and left a note on my door that read, Will be back to clean up. Called Bailey, said OK to take. I dont feel that removal of the trees means that some random passerby does it for you and leaves a mess for the homeowner. It means you REMOVE it in one of your trucks! The same man with the truck then came by at 6 AM today, revving up his chainsaw again and making tons of noise, and took the remaining logs. I paid nearly $1000 for their service, and I have been left with a huge mess of sawdust in the street out in front of my home from the random guy who ended up taking the wood. Its unprofessional and disappointing of Bailey to conduct business this way. If you do hire them, make absolutely certain they fulfill the contract youre paying for, because it seems like they are not shy of shortcuts. For the work they did, I would give them a better rating, but for the missed appointment and more importantly the failure to fulfill their part of the contract and properly haul away the wood, they only deserve a D rating. They also didnt mention the Angies List coupon, which means I overpaid by almost $96.

    Leonard Tree Services
Everyone recommends Leonard. He came right over one day and just cut down this tree and he cleared it all out, and then he wanted some more money to stump it right, and that's how all tree people are. I didn't know that about harboring. I had never gotten a tree removed before and so I was like no that's cool, I told him you know I'll just turn that stump into a table or something for awhile until I gave him my money again. He does some good work. I haven't hired Leonard to do something in maybe five or six years, it's been a long time.He doesn't have the best personality, but he did a good job. He got big scores he was on time. He and his friend showed up with this other guy and he removed it.I got a pine tree for a gift, and it was on my kitchen table. I planted it when I bought my house and years later it was like this big giant pine tree which I hear was a fire hazard and he came by and removed that one for me. I definitely would use him again.

    MASTER TREE CARE
Master Tree Care was the first (and lowest) bid I obtained. I gave them "A" in all rating categories. In addition, they had a certified arborist on the crew, answered the many questions I asked, and the entire crew were friendly (but professional).

When the crew was at my home I had not made a decision as to what I wanted to do with some very ugly bushes. I have now decided and will be contacting Master Tree soon to have them do that job also.

    VAZQUEZ TREE SVC
Both times, they did an equally good job.  We have always received quick responses to our calls, and they have come out within a day or two (most recently on a Saturday) to give an estimate.  The work was scheduled within a couple days thereafter.  I would wholeheartedly recommend them!

    Bruno Ferazza Tree Service
I am so pleased with David Ferazza he responded very fast to my request to have work done and kept in contact with me about arrival times.  Workers were very fast and neat cleaned up so well I did not have to do anything after they left.  I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done. I will absolutely use them again.

    Tree Pros Arboricultural Services Inc
Called on March 3rd told them I needed work done by 10th.  Talked with Kevin and yes they would have it done by them.  We then had a storm and several trees lost around the County.  Time set back called on Friday  11th and Kevin said I was set for Tuesday 15th  Kevin called and said one worker was sick and would not be able to trim my tree that day so we settled for the next day the 16th Kevin called again and said another person called in sick and were unable to trim my trees.  On Thursday since Kevin never called back I asked when would they be coming to trim my trees Kevin said " they keep adding more work for them and didn't know when it would be" and something to the effect he had no control over this.  I called the office and talked to the person in charge and she said they don't have crews in my area and basically work in Citrus Heights and would not be able to get to my house.  I was mad at this time so I said "just cancel my request altogether".  This company has been pruning my trees since they were planted 20 years ago and I never had a problem.  I will never call them again.

    Bruno Ferazza Tree Service

The job went well.  Due to inclement weather and conflicts with more urgent work,  the grinding of the stump was delayed until the following Monday.  This was no problem since there was no urgency to that.  I was impressed with the speed and efficiency of the three man team that  removed the tree on Friday.  The crew chief, who handled the job was knowledgeable and accommodating.

The special coupon, to which I responded, made the cost of the job reasonable and fair from my perspective.  I would not hesitate to recommend Bruno Ferazza Tree Service to others based on my experience with their people and service.
