Master's Window & Gutter Cleaning, Inc
It went very well. The receptionist was very pleasant. There were two men, Wally and Andrew.who came to work. They came right when they said they would and stayed a while extra to put patio furniture back. They were punctual, thorough, and pleasant to have working here. They were good to let me know of their cleaning pattern and when and how long they would be for lunch. Good Work, Sheila Ensign

    Gold Star Cleaning
I was very excited to try out Gold Star Cleaning because I had heard such amazing things about them. I was in very much need to get a couple things cleaned on my home to get ready for the summer. Gold Star Cleaning came through and did a very efficient job. I couldnt be any happier. I definitely will continue to do business with them.

The worker was early and communicated well. He thoroughly explained any questions I had about the process and water flow through my downspouts. The cleaning took about an hour and they left no mess when they were done. Highly recommended.

    My House Renovation
Received a quote for a silicone roof coating installation, TPO roof installation, and dry rot repair. Micah was very polite and punctual in the presentation of his quote. He offered an alternative that we were not originally considering, which helped in the final choice of a contractor. The rough estimate for the cost of dry rot repair seemed unrealistically low, which did not make me feel very comfortable. I am not a contractor, but I had a rough idea that replacing all fascia boards and other dry rot repair was going to cost more than $1,000 if it was going to be done right. I had about 7 quotes for this project. Their TPO quote was the 2nd highest of the 7 and the most expensive (by almost 80%) than the contractor we went with on the silicone roof coating installation(exact same silicone product).

    Quality First Home Improvement Inc.
Quote for TPO roof and the house coating was astronomically high. Received the typical sales pitch where they quote an unbelievably high price and tell you they are doing you a favor by giving you a $6,000 discount. Then they tell you that unless you make a decision today, the prices are supposed to go up in a few days. Quotes from other roofers were less than half of what Quality First wanted to charge. I had purchased windows from them about 9 years ago and was happy with the service and finished product.

    California Roof Technicians Inc.
I did not end up going with this bid, but appreciated the time and care they took to explain the scope of the work that needed to be done. They were extremely responsive in giving me a detailed quote. The conversation with the estimator was very informative and probably helped me in making an informed decision about the project. I may have gone with them if they had offered some alternatives to a TPO roof like the contractor I went with did, but I guess there is a fine line between giving the customer what they requested, and giving alternatives a customer may not want.

    Flat Roof Pros
I had some dry rot repairs to be done and the quotes I was getting from other roofers were unrealistically low and always with the disclaimer of "We won't know for sure until we start the job of tearing things down". One roofer wanted almost double what Flat Roof Pros quoted me for the coating alone-exact same coating that Flat Roof Pros used-GE Enduris 3500 Silicone- dry rot repairs were to be determined later, but the salesman said that they had never seen it run over $500.00. I am no contractor, but even I knew that was baloney. No homeowner wants to start having someone start working on their roof and basically be authorizing a blank check for the work. Paul gave me a realistic quote for the repairs and the crew (3-4 people usually) really worked hard for about 4 full days caring out the repairs and 2 days doing the coating and sealing. Not a job I would even think of doing DIY! Paul was my go-between for communication with the crew and any concerns that i had were addressed quickly. The crew started each day between 7:30 and 8AM and did a great job cleaning up all construction debris. Paul even let us know that the less expensive roofing option that he gave us was the best fit for our flat roof situation. The crew chief for the job noticed that I needed rain gutters for the side of my house that had pretty heavy dry rot. They installed 35' of gutter and a downspout for $300 (basically their cost of materials). The coating makes the new roof look great and carries a warranty that was comparable to a TPO roof for about half the price. The good thing about the silicone is that it is much better at resisting ponding issues. While the initial coating price was in a written contract, the dry rot repair and gutter installation was verbal (With the written cost listed as per foot of repair-gutter added in later as work was nearing completion). They were as good as their word and stuck to the verbal agreement given in regards to the dry rot repairs and gutter installation. I would hire them again!

    Quality First Home Improvement Inc.
I am starting with a D. If Quality First actually comes through and does the job satisfactorily, I may upgrade my review later. I am beginning to think that I am being scammed - they have gotten off to a very poor start. Started this process in mid May. Very poor client communication - much of which I've had to initiate, and of which they've been very bad at following up on. Long story short(er), Ygrene gave the green light to go on the project almost two weeks ago, and I haven't heard word one from Quality First, even though I've reached out to them several times. I am scratching my head, wondering what their deal is. I've given benefit of the doubt several times over - they are making me chase THEM. Which is ludicrous and perplexing, to say the least. If I hadn't already gone through the finance approval process and gotten approval for THIS company, I'd be walking away very quickly. So, Quality First, we need some resolution, here!

    Sanders Cleaning Company
Here is my experience with them... On 3/3/2018, I saw an Angie's List ad for gutter cleaning. I "Claimed" it. Then, I called the company and got voicemail. I left a message to call me back. Roughly 5 hours later (not bad for a Saturday) I received a call from "Kyle" who said he was the owner. Seemed very nice. I told him what I wanted and he said he had an availability for the following Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. I said Thursday morning would work for me. He then asked me if I could text him my information, which is no problem for me so I did as soon as we hung up. He replied" Okay perfect Mr. "My Name" Your on the schedule." I replied "Text or call when you are on your way please, thx." He replied "Will do." On 3/7, Wednesday morning, just after 8 AM, Kyle called and said he had seen that I claimed the gutter cleaning and would I like to schedule an appointment? I told him we already spoke and you said you would be here on Thursday morning? "Oh that's right" he said. This was not a problem for me, things happen. I then asked about what time Thursday. He said "9 AM". I said great, please text or call when on your way. Again, he said "Will do". On 3/8, Thursday morning, no show with no call or text? I had to leave for work around 10. When I had some free-time, around 3 PM, I texted Kyle; "Well you blew me off for cleaning my gutters so I'm gonna have to write a review on Angie's List on the service I got, not very good." He immediately called (Which I thought was going to be a good thing) and did say he was sorry but instead of asking what he could do to make things right, he proceeded to say "Go ahead and write a bad review, and try to ruin my company, I will dispute it." Then he said he was at my house at noon and left a card on my door saying he thought the appt was for noon? Even IF true, why no call or text? Who shows up for a job and if no one is home doesn't call the customer (while at the door) to find out what is going on?? Not very professional in my opinion. I am not out to "ruin" anyone's business and wish Kyle well, I am just reporting my experience. Hopefully he will learn from this and be better in the future.

    Curtis Roofing Inc
Went very well replaced some dry rot areas and Fascia boards and added seamless gutter. Boards that were replaced were primed. All the workers worked very well together and were very efficient in completing the job on time.
