  I thought they were a little pricey. I was not here, but my husband was and it seems to me that they came pretty promptly. We probably would not use them again because we live in Ramona and they were not happy coming this far out.

  GDI made an appointment with me on the 10th for the morning
  between 8 and 11. ��I explained that I had to travel to an appointment the
  afternoon of the 10th and suggested they make it for another day if there was
  any possibility they couldn't be done by 11 the morning of the tenth.�� I was assured there was no possibility of
  that happening Naturally, on the 10th I was called a few minutes before 11 and
  told the mechanic was running late.
  More importantly, when the mechanic came on the 11th,
  while I was running an errand, ��he never touched the door. He took a look
  at it, pointed out to my wife all of the things that he said were wrong with
  the door, sat in his car for 10 minutes writing an estimate which he gave to my
  wife and left.
  I had the door repaired by a local service on the 12th for��under $400. ��When I suggested replacing the springs, one of the items
  that GDI said needed to be done immediately, the mechanic on the 12th (who had��no knowledge of GDI's visit), ��said, "that's not necessary yet, they're in��good shape. ��Like too many "specials" on Angie's list, this was��a way of being paid to attempt a bait and switch for much costlier service.
  To add insult to injury, GDI called yesterday to follow up on��the estimate and see if we were ready to move forward. When my wife told them that the repair was accomplished for slightly more than 10% of what she had��been quoted, the caller hung up on her abruptly.

  It went very well. It was an Angie's List special. He was very good and he knew what he was doing. The deal was for $300 and because of the circumstances of the garage, he charged me $100 more because it was a different type of garage opener we used. He told me about some things that I might want to do in the future. He was prompt. He got here right on time and he explained to me everything he was going to do. He did a good job. When he was a little bit late, he called and let me know.

  Called to make appointment as soon as I purchased the deal.  Were able to send a repair person out very quickly.  No waiting for weeks to get something scheduled.  Scott just left and he did an awesome job!!  Nice, polite, professional and quick worker that arrived on time and called when he was on his way.  Even offered to help me carry my trash cans in.  Door had been making a horrible screech noise whenever it opened or closed.  No more noise!  Sure my neighbors appreciate this repair. Advised that the springs have a couple more years of life in them.   This is a deal that is worth buying and no high pressure sales pitch.  I've bought a number of deals, but this is one of the best values.

  When the tech came, he worked for 2 days trying to get it right. He was nice but he couldn't figure out the problem. He also didn't put the rollers on correctly - I had to fix it myself after he left. He charged me an additional $50 to move the track. The tech said that the clickers weren't good - the frequency was being used by another company and we had to put in a booster for each of the three doors. Then we were told we had to get new clickers. After we got 8 new clickers, things started going badly. The boss had to come out and finish the job. The boss said that we needed to reduce our clicker amount to 6 (two would be our cars). He was still having problems. He called the manufactuer who said that the door only allows for 7 clickers (5 remotes and 2 being our cars). We also didn't get the outdoor pad either, even though we had a pad before.  They should have known the limitations of my garage door opener.

  They repaired the doors very nicely, efficiently and within the estimate and everything else. I had a garage door that was stuck and I couldn't pull it down and they came out and fixed it for me and tuned everything up. They were prompt, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. I don't remember the price was but I wasn't shock, horrified, surprised or dismayed and it seemed reasonable for the work done. They got here within good reason amount of time and got here when they said they'd do. They did keep me apprise during the day because I had an appointment later that day and they let me know what their progress was and if they stopped, they would be a little bit delayed and they would let me know, so I appreciated that.

  The exprience was great.   He arrived on time with the right tools and parts.  After completing the spring replacement he showed me how to lubricate the door to make it last longer and operate much quieter.  He was done in about 30 minutes all the while talking with me.  All in all, he provided wonderful service and I would be happy to use him in the future if the need arises.
