ARemodel Works Bath & KitchenWe love Remodel Works! After discovering harmful mold and mold byproducts in our home, we had to have many areas (namely the kitchen and 2 bathrooms) torn out. Needless to say we were completely shocked at the level of repair needed. Enter John DeLuca, designer du jour. He helped my mom design the kitchen of her dreams, as well as update the master and guest bathrooms which had been torn down to studs. John was always available for a phone call or text with any questions, even to help us choose paint colors outside of the areas he designed. The construction is still in process, but Lance has been amazing and everything is coming together beautifully. He has kept us updated each step of the way, and has a very calming demeanor (which is always appreciated during construction projects!). Brett has been great as well, always working hard with a big smile when we stop by to check on progress. Both have gone above and beyond in keeping the place in order (we are not staying in the home during this work). They both could have easily just stuck to the project they were hired for, but have done extra detective work in helping us figure out issue after issue with our older home. We know we are in good hands. This process has been emotional, as a remodel was initially something my mom and dad were planning together, but my dad ended up passing away suddenly just over a year ago. It has been such a blessing to be so taken care of by Remodel Works during a rough time. Highly recommend for professional, top notch work, and individuals who really care about their work and clients.- Alex H.

AOrtiz Quality Painting ServicesSaul did a great job at a fair price. Job took longer than he originally estimated, but we had beige and browns for wall colors the job required 3 coats of paint vs. the two he anticipated at the onset of the job. Additionally, we have a great room with 32’ ceiling which took over a week alone to paint. Total job was apps. 3,700-3,800 sq ft. ADanny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. I highly recommend DM Building, and would be happy to discuss their work further with anyone who is looking for a custom home builder or looking to embark on a large remodel project. AI am pleased that we had selected a painting contractor who fulfilled all of the requirements of the contract and then some. Our aging 4-unit wooden condominium complex had been neglected for 10 years and needed extensive preparation and repair in some areas and as well as a complete pressure wash, wood staining, trim priming and painting on all exterior areas. Matt and his crew exhibited the highest caliber of attention to detail and quality of work. They even went beyond the scope of the proposal and painted in areas that should have been included in the contract-with no extra charge. Quality, dedication & integrity are words I think of when looking back at a challenging 2-week job that was, by the way, the most competitively priced - by far.

AIn the middle of having my flooring installed, we discovered that I had asbestos in my kitchen and bathroom- the flooring installers walked out of the job immediately. I had 3 companies come and give me bids. San Diego Abatement Services was the most professional and knowledgeable. They scheduled the job the day after I called. They were polite, efficient, and did exactly what they promised to do. They were not the least expensive- but my confidence in a perfect job and the safety of my home was more important. They sent me the certificate of a clean air test so I can now finish my floors!

ASequoia Roofing did an excellent job from start to finish. Once again it is proven to me "you get what you pay for". I got multiple estimates. Sequoia was not the least expensive. Mike Rochholz answered all my questions before, during and after. Communication was clear. Helped me choose the replacement tile. I knew what was going to be done and when I was on their work calendar six weeks ahead. Started on Monday and finished on Friday. Attention to details and professionalism of crew earn high praise, too.
