Fence Company reviews in Quartz Hill

    Alonso Landscape Care
Artificial turf looks good. Some of the plants have died. It's only been five months since the job was completed. All the other items are of fair to poor quality. Concrete areas have to be re-done by another company because it has cracked within days to weeks of it being placed. Concrete splashed on retaining wall which was never removed/cleaned by Andres. Paint on fencing chips away easily. He said he would remove the splashed concrete off the wall but never returned to finish the job. As I stated earlier, I have to pay $3K+ to have the concrete done again. Haven't gone through an entire rain season so still don't know how the drainage system works or not. Would never hire him again.

As usual, Joshua came thru for me. One call to Joshua and he's on his job. I appreciate his timeliness, honesty and best pricing for the work. He has helped me many times with the same spirit. I highly recommend him to friends and family and expect to use him again in the near future...

    ROBERT BARTRAM FENCING
Robert quoted us a price for fencing, a remote gate, and solar panel that was far below most competitor's prices. Not only was he lower in his price, but he far exceeded our expectations of professionalism, promptness, and honesty. The job was done on time and his work was impeccable. We highly recommend Robert and would hire him again.

    ROBERT BARTRAM FENCING
We are extremely happy with the work and the way Bob Bartram went about getting this job done. He is such a hard worker and was very helpful in helping us decide the best way to go to keep our dogs from chewing up the pipes and cords on the Compressors. My wife and I highly recommend him for any of you fencing needs. It was a small job to him but he treated it as if it was his top priority. We would use him again!

    Honest Handyman
Joshua was very professional and friendly. He came out and gave me an estimate that was a huge relief to me after having had a previous estimate of $3,500! He was on time and explained to me everything he was going to do. I will definitely use his services again.

    ROBERT BARTRAM FENCING
Bob managed to squeeze my job in between his large ones. He had to remove many boards and rails to access the broken posts. They were set in concrete, so he had to dig that up, replace them, set them in quickset, and nail the rails and boards back in place. He went ahead and replaced some of the worst boards, which I really appreciated. He did this all in one day. He cleaned up all debris as well. I definitely will use him again.

    ROBERT BARTRAM FENCING
Bob was very polite and professional. He was busy with larger jobs, but fit me into his schedule very quickly. He also called ahead to let me know he was coming. He replaced the fence and 2x4s very nicely. It was neat and secure. I am very happy with his service and would most certainly call him again.

    Vargas Concrete and Handyman Services

EVERYTHING  MEASURED  CAREFULLY,AND SQUARED.   DID EXTRA WORK TO ASSURE THE JOB WAS DONE CORRECTLY WHICH INCLUDED DIGGING OUT THE DRIVEWAY TO A 1 FOOT DEPTH WHERE THE 13-FOOT GATE WERE TO OPEN TO ALLOW FOR CLEARANCE, NOT PART OF THE ESTIMATE.  DUG AWAY DIRT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE FENCING TO AVOID WATER AND MUD BUILDUP.  USED STAINLESS SCREWS NOT NAILS TO INSTALL PANELS.  GATE WORKS PERFECT TO THIS DAY.  INSTALLED SEPT 2010.

TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THE SIZE OF THE JOB, WE HAD 25 4X4'S CEMENTED FOR THE FENCING PLUS 2 6X6 POSTS FOR THE GATE.

I HAD PLANNED TO PUT IN THIS RECOMMENDATION WHEN MARTIN FINISHED THE WORK, BUT WHEN I WENT ONLINE TO ANGIE'S LIST I SOMEHOW GOT THE IMPRESSION I HAD TO JOIN TO PUT IN A REVIEW SO I DID NOT DO IT,  I HAVE NOW JOINED AND HAVE FOUND OUT i WAS WRONG ABOUT BEING A MEMBER TO DO A REVIEW.... MY MISTAKE.

WORK WAS DONE AS PROMISED AND AREA CLEANED. GREAT GREAT JOB!!!

IN SEPTEMBER 2010 MARTIN ALSO INSTALLED 450 SQ FEET OF TILE IN A RENTAL HOME. THE KITCHEN HAD HAD LINOLEUM AND THE FLOOR WAS AWFUL, THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR WHO BUILT THE HOME WAS A DISASTER.  THE CEMENT FLOOR HAD TO BE GROUND AND LEVELED.  BEAUTIFUL WORK!

MARTIN ALSO PUT IN 20 TONS OF GRAVEL, HAD TO DIG OUT LONG DRIVEWAY AND GARAGE DRIVE 5-6 INCHES TO INSTALL GRAVEL.  NICE WORK.  THIS  WAS DONE IN OCT 2011.

I WILL NOT HESITATE TO  HIRE MARTIN FOR FUTURE WORK, HE IS CONSCIENTIOUS, CONSIDERATE AND THROUGH.

    Joe Hymes Handyman Service
Joe is a very nice guy who arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He knows a lot about a lot of things, having many different types of jobs and companies through the years. He used to own a roofing company so one of the first things I asked about was maintenance on my type of roof.
My house was bought as is, and some of the and quot;tilesand quot; needed to be replaced due to a leak, so I wanted to make sure the rest didn't need to be repaired as well. From the ground, he could point out where some of these and quot;tilesand quot; were sliding and how I could maintain my roof. He charges $150.00 to go up there and fix them. If I remember correctly, he said I could do it every year or two.
Another thing I needed a quote on was my fence. Two whole panels are leaning. He said he could replace the posts at $150.00 each. He did suggest I talk to my neighbor before the work is complete.
I have noticeable grout missing around my pool and spa, and while we talking (Joe is very personable ^.^), Joe mentioned that he does grout as well and if we wanted he could fix that too, that is if I wasn't going to make my husband do it, lol. It's a medium pool and an 8 person spa on split levels, so that was $200.00 for that to be done.
During our home inspection back in March, it was mentioned to us that our lattice patio cover might need to be replaced down the line. It was build 18 years ago, which was and quot;to codeand quot;, however it's completely wrong to today's standards. This will be something that we have to completely save up for, but we asked Joe anyway if this is something that he could do. Of Course he can! Depending on what we want to do in the future, it will run about $3000 -$5000.00.
Finally... the real reason why Joe was here. My mom recently moved in and brought tons of stuff. While loading the closet with and quot;stuffand quot;, the bar and shelf collapsed. I wanted to make sure that when fixed, it would be reinforced. True to that statement, Joe was hanging from the closet when he was done, to show me it could hold 300lbs. (He doesn't weight 300 though =P) Now all of my mom's stuff is in the closet and it's holding... Joe also promises that if his work doesn't hold up, he'll be back to fix it for free! We have tons of stuff to do around the house, and we'll be inviting Joe back again.

    GFA Masonry Concrete
George F. Acosta of GFA Masonry and GFA-Masonry.com Lic# 198455 made many oral and written representations which he refused to fulfill after he was paid substantial down payment. His masonry work was inspected by the industry expert retained by the Contractors State License Board which determined that George F Acosta's work of GFA Masonry "Doesn't substantially meet accepted standard for good workmanlike construction."  They further declared his efforts to be “Damage” to the property.  When presented this evidence, Mr. Acosta continues to confess ignorance of the problems.  GFA Masonry’s contract required down payment in excess of that allowed by law.  A principled contractor would try to appease his customer before facing a CSLB inspection and subsequent lawsuit.  George F. Acosta of GFA Masonry and GFA-Masonry.com Lic# 198455 lost the law suit and his subsequent appeal.Ha was
