Cell Phone Service reviews in Quail Valley

DO NOT USE THIS AT&T STORE.  WHAT THEY TELL YOU AND WHAT IS IN THE COMPLICATED CONTRACT WITH ITS FINE PRINT ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.  YOU'LL FIND OUT WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR FIRST BILL.
    Our experience was a disaster.
First I tried to upgrade our cell phones. My wife was three states away on a two week trip and I made it clear not to switch her cell service to the new phone until she returned home.  They said no problem.  An hour or so later, her phone was shut off as she was traveling on her own 1,200 miles away.  It took her two days to resolve that.  When I told the store manager, Darryl, what they did, he had absolutely no comment or apology.
When I received my first bill, it was $347.00 because they added another phone line I didn't want, along with its activation fee, and insurance we never asked for on a tablet we purchased, and pro-rated charges that the store said shouldn't be there.   I called AT&T, but they said that I would be charged huge penalties if I deactivate the phone line I didn't ask for.  They referred me back to the store.   I personally returned to the store and spoke to the manager (Darryl) who said he'd fix it and would call me back in the morning.  I received no call back.  I returned to the store two days later, but the manager wasn't in yet, so I again left my name and ph #.  They said he'd call me when he got in, but he didn't.
It is clear to me now that they were intentionally giving me services I didn't want and never asked for.  Sad and despicable.

I'll give Intouch America black stars all the way across and they rank up at the bottom of the pit.  I give them big black marks because they stiffed me big time. I've been a customer of theirs since the 80s or 90s and I had a two year lease for me and my wife. They were called Smartel and their selection of phones were poor, but all I needed was something that I could call out on and for people to get a hold of me. Their coverage was good and their rates were not bad. The problem that I had was on their leasing. I kept renewing my lease every two years. When my wife decided that she wanted to come over into my program she was a year out of sync with me. My wife kept wanting to look at other systems and a year ago she wanted a smartphone. So what I did last year was let my contract expire and then her phone came up for contract. Over the holiday Samsung came out with a really nice phone and they had them on sell and we went down to look at them and we both got phones. I told the guy at Costco that my contract was expired and hers was going to in January and that I was willing to pay the two months of service. They guy said don't worry about a thing and that he would switch the phones over and get all the data off of one phone and put in the other and then i would be all set. We got our first bill from AT&T and it was just like they said it would be, but when I got my bill from Smartel they charged me for a whole year on the one phone. I told them that the contract had been expired for a year and I was willing to pay the two months for the other phone. They told me that they couldn't do that and if I looked at the contract, and at the fine print, it says if you don't give them 30 days written notice that you were going to discontinue their service you are stiffed for the whole year. So they got me for over $800 for a phone bill. I just don't appreciate that at all and I'll give them the lowest possible rating and I would tell people to stay the hell away from them because they are shysters. And even though they can point that out in their contract I've extended the same contract for 12 or 14 years and never had a problem until I tried to give them their phone. I did talk to them about trying to negotiate some kind of settlement and they offered me chump change on it. They asked me if I had any old phones to send them in and I would get some sort of credit. They gave me just a small amount of credit for that which was really kind of crappy. They were supposed to take some pictures off of one phone and send it to me and they never did. I've got the bill down to about $200 to $300. They are very low and I'll tell anybody to stay away from them and go to somebody direct. Their employees were great. I never had problems with the people who worked there and they were always very warm and friendly on the phone, but somewhere in the background you got a manager or an owner that doesn't really care and are money motivated and don't care who they piss off. They had me by the gonads and there was no negotiating and I had been a customer of theirs for years and there was no appreciation for that. These people started back when cell phones were just becoming in bulk and a lot of people were setting up their little brokerage operations and were buying time from the big carriers and reselling it and that was the arrangement they had. They happened to be one of those survivors. They retained a lot of people and I don't know if the owners are the same or not because there was a name change, but all of their correspondence and stuff comes with a Smartel logo on it. If you're going to get cell phone service go to somebody where you're dealing exactly with the people that are providing the service.
