    Art and his team were extremely professional, knowledgeable, careful with all of our pieces and the houses we were moving in and out of. We just put new carpet in upstairs so they even wore booties to move the upstairs sonthey wouldn���t get the carpet dirty. We would definitely use them again!! Thanks!!

    One Stop Moving and Storage Inc.
    They gave me a not-to-exceed price. I hired four people instead of two. So I was going to pay more so I could get the job done in half day rather than a full day. It took them all day. They just were really slow and then the four guys that were working, wouldn't finish unless I gave them $100 cash each. So I didn't have that, so I put more on the ATM card and then they didn't finish anyway. The company wouldn't give me my money back unless I signed all these forms that I wouldn't call Better Business Bureau or take them to court or whatever. So I never even followed up on that. While I was gone, I was wondering why they kept me there for so long because it should have been half a day. I had a friend watching the house and he said, "If you have to leave, just leave the sliding door open." When I got home my house was robbed. All the doors were open. I think that's why they kept me there. It was just a horrible, horrible day. The original cost was about $950, that's what they quoted me. We were moving from a four-bedroom to a two-bedroom. So only about a third of the stuff was going. It just took them all day. Then they just pulled off somewhere to have lunch. I couldn't find them. I still hadn't shown them where I was going. So I had to drive all over to find the truck. They were just really rude. They were horrible. One guy was just so intimidating. I was afraid when he was saying he won't finish. Then they left my shelf on the truck. I never got that back. I got charged $375 to replace the shelf. I had to add $400 and then it was $375 to replace the shelf and then they left my beautiful planter. I had a $200 two-tiered planter with all these professional flowers in it. They didn't take that off so I could not list it so it got stolen. They just left it there. They left a couple of other things. I mean, they got their money and did not finish anyway. When I got home my computer was gone. That was $1700. My jewelry was gone. Farmers wouldn't give me $300 for the computer because I couldn't find the receipt. So I lost $1500 there. They were just mean and horrible. It was bad. They dinged my furniture. They were not polite. They basically stole from me. They didn't completely unload the truck. My antique shelf was in there. I was already in tears when I got home. When I called management all I got was this 8 page legal thing to sign. I couldn't even deal with it.

    Top Shelf Delivery and Moving
    Purchased an Angie's List Deal from Top Shelf Movers. Explained that I needed labor to load the contents of a storage unit into a rental truck and junk removal of left over items. I set this up while out of state and flew in for the move. I rented a truck and went to the storage unit to meet the the movers. The crew from Top Shelf Movers did not show up. I called to find out why they were an hour late and learned a mistake in scheduling had occurred and there were no movers coming. The owner/manager apologized, found an additional worker, came to my location, and completed the job personally. The truck was very carefully packed for an interstate move and I was very happy with the great customer service to correct a mistake.

    MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage
    This is the fourth time I've used MSJ. The third time there was a big of a hiccup so I called Stu the owner and he promised things would go well this time. And they delivered! Fernando, Luis, and Rob came out and did a terrific job. Although I underestimated how much stuff there was to move, these three guys took it in stride with a great attitude and constantly moving. Even at the end of this nearly 9 hour move, they were moving quickly and were still smiling. Not a single item was damaged. The cost ended up being higher than I thought, but that was due to my underestimating how much stuff we had to move. They really worked hard and deserve an A rating.

    MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage
    This is the third time I've used MSJ. The first two times, everything went perfectly which I the reason I came back. This time, things were not quite the same level of service. On the front end, apparently they have someone new scheduling the moves. Although I spoke to the lady several times, she didn't seem to remember the details of our move. The day before the move I called to confirm, and she did not have the date correct. I asked if everything was set, and she said yes. Surprisingly, she called me later in the afternoon and then said she needed an inventory of our items. I told her we had already discussed that. In fairness, the lady was very nice and I just got the sense that she needed more support. The next day, the crew came called and came out at a time different than we agreed.
    As with my previous moves with MSJ, the movers were polite and professional. While they worked diligently, the pace was definitely slower than previous moves. One mover seemed to be new and inexperienced. While I specifically requested a piano mover, there were issues on how to move it. Afterwards, we found packing tape on our $15,000 piano that was very difficult to remove. Interestingly, MSJ had previously moved two pianos for us and it went without a hitch. I'm not sure what happened with this move.  It was the same exact items that we had moved previously.
    Perhaps it was just a one time fluke, and they did get the job done. As I mentioned, I had used them twice before, so I expected the same high standard.

    1st Choice Movers
    Due to an unexpected thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind in the forecast (in San Diego?) I asked if we could please change the date of our move. Derek bent over backwards to accommodate us. I appreciate that! Fortunately, the weather was perfect on the day of our move! Junior, Robert and Carlos were prompt - 5 minutes early, which was great. A huge plus is that the guys really strive to please! After the furniture had been brought in and arranged, we changed our mind about where we wanted a desk to go. It's a heavy, solid maple high desk with 3 drawers. The guys said, "no problem" and effortlessly carried it from one room to the other, as we'd requested. Junior is really personable and experienced in all aspects of moving. He made sure all our boxes went in the correct place to make the unpacking process easier. As Junior, Robert and Carlos worked we could see that their goal is giving you the best service by doing their very best! Robert set up our beds, Junior worked magic on our tv, which we'd taken off the base and didn't know how to re-attatch, and Carlos is a muscle machine! There wasn't any concern or worry of ours that was too big or too insignificant for them. They listen, they care; and down to the last detail they got it right! We'll definitely call 1st Choice Movers for our next move!!

    North Park Transfer & Storage
    The crew showed up on time and I walked them through and showed them what was needed. Within the first hour, I noticed they were lingering at the back of the truck and when they noticed me, they told me they were going to take a 5 minute break. They took longer than the three hours and I had to pay extra for an hour and a half.

     After they left, I realized they had not unwrapped my BBQ and they didn?t re-attach the small table that was supposed to be on the BBQ. I tried to put it back on myself, but I could not find the bolts. I tried to call the company but they were not giving me a response. I felt like they didn?t round out the customer service area. 

    They didn?t damage any furniture and they put things where I asked, but they just didn?t exceed my expectations.

    Reliable Man Movers
    Moving from our home of 25 years was extremely challenging and stressful; however, the professionalism of Adam, DJ, Izzy, and Lil Rob went beyond our expectations. They were extremely hard working young men who carefully wrapped our furniture, and expertly maneuvered the majority of pieces downstairs, and completed the first portion of our move with efficiency and courtesy. After arriving at our new location, they patiently waited until we decided where we wanted each piece of furniture, assisting us in placing protective felt under our furniture in order to protect the wood floor from damage. The next challenge they faced was daunting...our refrigerator would not fit through the front entry. They moved it around to the sliding door, only to find out it would not fit through that entrance either. Together, they brainstormed and decided to take the invisible screen casing off the front door allowing them to move the refrigerator into the home. Without their dedication, patience, and extraordinary efforts, this could not have been accomplished. The day was long and hard, but the crew from Reliable Man Movers made it so much more tolerable due to their work ethic and resiliency. Our personal belongs and furniture was well cared for, and we are very grateful that we chose this company and had Adam, DJ, Izzy, and Lil Rob as our movers.

    1 800 Pack Rats
    From our first contact with the sales representative, every aspect of our move was handled very professionally.  They delivered one unit to our home prior to our putting our home on the market so we could "declutter" the home.  That unit was put in storage in their local warehouse for several months until we sold our home.  During that time, we needed to access the unit to add more items.  All they required was 48 hour notice for them to retrieve the unit from the storage warehouse and place it in an easily-accessible location at the warehouse and there was no fee for this service.  This was very helpful!  When we sold our home, they delivered a second unit for the rest of our items.  They then delivered the two units to our new location, about 1300 miles away.  We placed the two units in storage for 2-3 months in the new location while our new home was being finished.  Again, we needed to access the units to remove a few items and, again, this was no problem for them.  When we opened the two units, we found that, as promised, the items had not shifted and everything was in good shape.  (Of course, we had tied down the items quite well.)  When we were ready, the two pods were delivered to our new home.  Every part of the move went well and we felt that the price was fair.  (They even loaned us 20 high-quality blankets with each unit.)  This is a particularly good method if you need to store your belongings for a longer period of time.  Kudos to 1-800 Pack Rat!  I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

    They arrived on time and worked very fast and efficiently. They packed it well. At my destination, there was nothing broken. In fact, the unloader crew stated they did a very good job. I am very happy with their service and, actually, plan to use them again soon as I have another trip to make. Thank you.
