    Trig Builders Inc.
Perfect remodeling job done by Trig Builders on our new kitchen and entry of the house. We basically remodeled the kitchen with them lol. The work was finished very professionally and they were very experienced and organized during the whole work. Their main help was by talking to us and designing the new spaces including the selection of the right materials including the tiles, the kitchen cabinets and all the accessories. We highly recommend them for anyone who needs any home remodeling project.

    Dunn Drywall
Rob came the day after I called him to give me an estimate for the job.  He actually had time to remove the drywall that same morning. The next day he sent his assistant to complete the job.   His work was excellent.  The texture perfectly matched the existing texture of the wall.  Once we had the wall painted, you could not even tell that a large repair had been made.
Both Rob and his assistant were very professional and personable.  I would definitely use Dunn Drywall again.

    HOME ENERGY SAVINGS INSULATION
We started talking to HVAC and insulation specialists in
late 2011, primarily because our 1970's era home was very cold and
drafty.  Our neighbors have large trees that keep the house fairly shaded
and we are located in a bit of a valley, so the house just always seemed to be
freezing, even on relatively mild days.   I initially liked the fact
that Russell seemed to talk straight to me and put things in pretty blunt
    terms.
Russell discouraged us from pursuing the Energy Upgrade California? program,
which we were considering, in favor of just updating the furnace and AC
separately and doing R14 wall and R38 attic insulation with them.  He told
us multiple stories of people who experienced dramatic comfort improvements and
talked up the house improving by 12 degrees on both cold and warm days.
So we decided to go with them, but could only do the job in
phases.  We had the attic ductwork replaced in December 2011, then had
Russell's team blow in cellulose to the attic.  In the spring of 2012
we replaced our 30-40 year old HVAC appliances.
Then in January of 2013, frustrated that our house still had uneven
temperature variation with one part chilly while another section was quite warm,
we had Russell's team finish the wall insulation.
In terms of quality, I think these guys do great work.  Russell runs a
small crew so you always know exactly who is going to come to your home and do
the work.  They do an amazing job on walls, drilling holes, patching and
    painting/texturing to match.
The trouble I have with the whole thing is the fact that our house is still
chillier than we would like, we still have to run our heater considerably even
on relatively warm days, and I don't think that we will ever recoup the
investment.  I shared my concerns with Russell and he got pretty
defensive, telling me that my expectations were unreasonable, my insulation
matched or exceeded that of new construction, and that I was the first person
in 30 years of business who was not satisfied with the improvement from their
work.  Not much of a "customer is always right" attitude.
My other complaint is Russell's language around my family.  House calls
from Russell are not a quick in and out affair.  He is very chatty.
You will hear him expound his views on any range of political and cultural
issues, especially as it relates to decisions made by SDGE.  In fact, the
terms he used to describe SDGE on Jan 2 when he learned they had discontinued
the attic insulation rebate program were probably the most unprofessional.
Overall now that we have had the full insulation in for several weeks and the
recent abnormally cold snap has passed, I do feel that the house is more
uniform and pleasant in terms of temperatures.  But the effect is subtle,
not particularly dramatic.  And I think the financial payoff will likely
never recoup the investment.  We'll see how it goes.

    HOME ENERGY SAVINGS INSULATION
The owner I spoke to was rude and egotistic.  He spoke with a attitude making me feel like I'll never find anyone else as good of work as his company provides. He was wrong. I did find another insulation company and was extremely satisfied with their work and the price.

    Dudley Insulation
After looking at the existing insulation, he said what we had was adequate, and we didn't need any more. I was impressed he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He was very professional, and explained the problem. He was prompt, and called me when he was on the way so I could meet him at the house. He went way up into the attic to check it out. I would use him again.

    HOME ENERGY SAVINGS INSULATION
The overall process took a bit of time but was very educational.  Russel took a lot of time to talk with me about various programs and options.  In the end, we went with just  the basic attic insulation, but I hope to do the walls in the future with them as funding is available.  What I really appreciated was the knowledge of his crews.  They even fixed some of the problems left by previous installers in my attic.  Good company, very knowledgeable.

    ASI The White Glove Guys!
They were great. They did everything that they said they would do. The contract said one thing but the workers who came out were missing some of the elements. They did not say that they would come out later or that they have to talk to their supervisor but just fixed it on the spot. They are probably the most responsive contractor we have ever worked with. It was great and we got our money's worth. I would tell people that they are great and do top quality work. They are expensive, but if you can afford it, then it is worth every penny.

    GGR Energy & Remodeling
I noticed an immediate improvement in comfort throughout the house. My energy bills have been substantially reduced. My July electric bill (using air-conditioning) was half of my bill for last July. I received a $1,500  SDG&E Rebate and $500 tax-credit. GGR had estimated a $2,500 SDG&E rebate based on their testing. When SDG&E only approved $1,500, GGR made up the difference.

John, Christian, and their staff were prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. I recommend using them.
