After waiting an extensive amount of time in the waiting room, we waited well over an hour in the exam room. Then a student doctor came in who was not familiar with the computer software, and who asked questions of my mom that should have already been noted in the file. The doctor came in and asked the same questions again. It was a very long pointless afternoon.

When I arrived at the emergency room there was a person already being helped at the window. The receptionist could see that I was in a bad way. She quickly finished up that patient, and I stepped forward and gave her my medical cards and said, and quot;i think I'm having a heart attack. She asked me a couple of questions, while getting others to help. They opened a side door, put me in a wheel chair while asking me questions. That entire event took less than 30 seconds. I was in a bed, recieving medication, doctor was on his way, and it all took place in a couple of minutes. Very special people, highly trained. I remained in the emergency room being monitiored while the test were being run. They were always there checking on me, keeping me informed. A protien test came back positive and that incated that yes I suffered a mild heart attack. They moved me upstairs, and the next day I saw my heart doctor; Dr. Behl. The emergency room in this hospital did a very good job, for me; I would not hesitate to go there again.

I was told the surgery was done at 1:30 PM (I had been there since 6:30 AM) I woke up at 4:30 AM the next morning having an urgent need to urinate. I did not know where I was and got out of bed and finally realized I was in the hospital. I did not know how to call the nurse and she and another staff were talking to a non-staff person. I tried shouting to no avail, so I began pulling everything attached to me so I could get to the light I saw than I had concluded was the restroom. There was blood and urine everywhere. All of a sudden, there was about six staff there to help me. There was a wrist band that said risk of falling and a big sign on my door (this was before my attempt to get to the toilet). I was never given a tooth brush or toothpaste the 2 horrible nights I was there. I wanted to wash up and asked for a wash rag. There was nothing offered me and one person told me I could not have any ice for my sore throat and another person coming in told me to drink lots of water. One person said I could only have liquid diet, the dietician visited me and asked what I wanted to eat. She told me I could have regular food, yet the next 3 trays was liquid food. The doctor came in, never looked at my incision and asked if I had been able to tolerate regular food yet and I told him I didn't know since I had only soft foods. He ordered a tray be sent to me. I waited and waited and my husband saw a tray sitting at the nurses station and he said it had been there a long time and figured it was for one of the staff. He asked about my tray to the next person coming in and they said oh, I thought that was (another saff person's name) for someone else and brought it to me. It was cold and I only ate a little, but enough that the doctor released me. While I was there, I only remember my room being cleaned once, which took about 5 minutes. I do not know for sure, but I think the worker mopped the bathroom floor with toilet water and then dragged the mop in a straight line out the door. No dusting, etc. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. I have had one illness after the other since Novemeber 17, 2012. I developed an infection at the incision, put on antibiodics, got the hives from this. Two days later got the hives again. Back and stomach aches I never had before.

He is rotten and needs some kind of an anger management treatment. My daughter wrote a letter to the board on my account because he threw me out of him office for no reason at all. I had got news the night before that my daughter in Illinois was dying of cancer and won’t be able to live over the weekend. I had packed up and ready to leave and didn’t think I had enough heart medications. Though he was supposed to look at my knee I went to have my prescription refilled which he said he would unless I went to his office first. So, I cancelled the appointment and when I got to his office I guess I didn’t look too happy about it anyway.  He asked me what was wrong and when I told him that I was not very happy because he wouldn’t refill my heart medication which I have to use for the rest of my life. He jumped up out of his chair, started screaming and asked me to get the hell out of his office all the way to the door. They say he is a good doctor but real strict. Well he is not real strict but just has no sense. He was usually available though usually a long wait. His treatment was pretty good but did tell me about several things wrong with me that I didn’t end up having.

I like him a lot. He is very good. He has never done any serious procedure with me but he has just helped me a great deal by keeping the medication right. He is easy to get in too.

This was the first and last time I went to see this Dr. because there are not many options here in Porterville.I was very disappointed with her staff and how effective she was as a Dr.
