    The part is $15-$20 at Home Depot and takes about 10 minutes to replace. He said he could come out and do it for about $145, but I was rubbed the wrong way from being overpriced initially. I did end up paying them $49 to have them come out. I ended up getting it done for $85 by a handyman. I felt bad because I had to leave my elderly tenants without heat for a couple days because I felt like I was getting ripped off.

    Mike called in advance to make sure we were home and to estimate a time he would arrive. Upon arrival, he was polite and easy to talk to. While servicing the AC unit, he told us some tricks we could do to easily save money and time. He was not bothered by me watching and learning from him. I really appreciated that as I like to be a part of the process to some degree. The only thing he needed from me was a garden hose, which was easy to point where one was in the yard. He showed how I could easily do a washing once a year in certain spots to help the unit run more efficiently. Great!
    After he was done, he let me know the job was complete. He reviewed what he accomplished in his servicing with me before I signed the invoice. A very great experience and I would happily have him service our AC again.

    They did a fine job and got the unit working again.  It took them about an hour and they were very professional.  The price also included an annual service, which is nice.  I'd recommend them and use them again!

    My first appointment was made to service my air conditioners in two days.  However, it was canceled by the company when a heat wave hit the area and some other customers' air conditioners had gone out.  My appointment was rescheduled for the following week and kept.  I was okay with the cancelation though.  If one of my units had gone out during the heat wave I would have hoped to have had it fixed as soon as possible, too.

    I had a pleasant conversation with the receptionist when she contacted me to inform me that the repairman was running late. Once the AC repair man came he was very respectful and professional. He explained everything he was doing to our ac unit. He did apologized for running late however he previous appt took longer than expected. Overall my experience with this company was very good and I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you

    When my furnace quit  working on a freezing night, I called Aire Serv
    in a panic to get it fixed. The technician who came out not only told me
    what was wrong with the furnace, but also assessed the condition of the
    A/C part of the combined unit. He gave me an estimate for fixing the
    short-term problem with the heater. He also gave me an estimate of what
    would need to be done in order to use the A/C when the season changed.
    The tech suggested I follow up by comparing the cost of fixing the
    24-year old unit to the cost of replacing the unit with a new, more
    energy efficient unit. The Aire Serv people also had up-to-date
    information on possible tax credits and mfg/utility rebates that were
    available.
      I decided to replace the unit and it was ordered. Being
    it was cold out, the tech did a temporary fix that had my house warm
    within a few hours. The unit was installed in a timely fashion. The unit
    is on the roof and some of the shakes had to be removed in the
    installation. Orval did an excellent job of replacing the removed shakes
    and felt. They followed up with the tests on the unit and submission of
    the rebate forms. All of the work was done within two days, but they
    made sure I had heat by the end of the first day.
      I felt 120% supported and satisfied. From the owners to the sales and technicians,
    everyone who dealt with me demonstrated a high level of professionalism,
    knowledge, skill, and friendliness. I trust them completely and will
    utilize their services in the future and highly recommend them to
    others.

    serviceperson arrived at about 1 o'clock--i  was told that the window for service was 12-5 so it was right on.  Person went on roof to inspect the unit, then came back down and told me what he would do to correct the situation, and then performed the needed actions and left.  he was very cordial and professional.  backing up a little bit, the person who answered the phone was very helpful suggesting some common reasons to check as to why a heating unit would not ignite.  lovely people!

    They had a number of employees, and I thought they communicated well with my husband and myself, so their communication skills were good.  They were respectful.  They did jobs, but they were not intrusive.  The house was kept cleaner than I thought it could be.  The work was of good quality, except for one subcontractor, and they didn’t do anything really to correct it on site.  It was not a big deal, but they were concerned that I felt that the subcontractor was not adequate, so they showed their concern in the matter.

    It went realy well. They were very nice and did a great job with the work. They took care of all of my concerns and when there was an issue during the install that they had not forseen they took care of it. They put alot of extra time in for me to get a rebate from SCE to hlp cover the cost of the system. They are a great company and very friendly.
