    John E Floyd
It couldn't have gone any better. Mr. Floyd is awesome when it comes to fixing things. His knowledge is superior to any other handyman I've met. If he isn't sure about something he throughly does research to make things work again. I really am impressed with him. He's very trustworthy!

    Sun American Builders
What to say about Sun American Builders? During our renovation (a complete kitchen, a complete bathroom, new shoe moldings and paint throughout, and a ceiling fan) we had a lot of issues. Constantly late workers, no shows, inexperienced workers, damage caused by workers, and so much more. The person dealing with the kitchen cabinets even waited until the day before the install, an entire month after the design approval and order, to let us know what we wanted and agreed upon wasnt available that way from their vendor. By and large I dealt with these issues as the project supervisor, who no longer works for them, was very good at listening and de-escalating. There was also enough compensation made near the end of the job for me to take everything and walk away somewhat content enough to just deal with it even though I was not 100% satisfied. But then we come to everything that happened afterwards. I had to have them come back THREE times to replace cracked glass tiles in the shower. The entire time I kept asking about a crack suppression membrane, which they did not install, but all research and other tile specialists say they should be used with glass tiles in bathrooms because of heat expansion/contraction. Anytime I mentioned it they shrugged it off. It took a formal letter to finally get a phone call, because they werent returning my calls, from one of the owners to get someone to my place to replace the tiles that 3rd time because it was after the job was completed (also the guy used the wrong color grout resulting in discolored areas during that 3rd visit.) Since then, I have found a major defect in a cabinet door in the kitchen that needs replacing. I paid top dollar for high gloss thermafoil cabinets. We had a lot of instances of bad quality-controlled pieces needing to be replaced during the construction, which was always a fight with their extremely rude and combative cabinet expert. God does not make things perfect. and You arent spending $1 million on this job. are HIGHLY unacceptable things to say to a client. I also had a small piece of our new quartz counter tops randomly fall out. And my shower tiles are now cracking for a FOURTH time. I once again contacted Sun American to get these 3 issues resolved. It took some time, but they finally reached out via text and came to look at the issues. The problems were acknowledged and I was told they would get back to me about dealing with them. A week later they set up an appointment for a counter guy to come look and see what could be done. On the day of the appointment no one showed up. And no one would answer my texts or calls. I spent the next 3 days calling and being told I would receive return calls. Never once did I receive any apologies for the no show. And in a message passed down through the office manager they tried to tell me neither the tile nor the counter was a warranty issue. Except for the fact the failures are due to poor quality/bad workmanship which very much defines them as a warranty issue. I was finally told I would receive a call back from one of the CEOs in an hournope. And when I called again the office manager said she would get him on the phone and call. Never happened. All of this has been documented in a certified letter they have received. At this time they have chosen to ignore me and hope this goes away rather than back the poor quality of their work and materials. Aside from leaving this review to warn others from dealing with this company and their unprofessionalism, I am also filing a complaint with the state contractor licensing board. It hasnt been a year since completion and issues such as these should NOT be happening. Customers Beware. DO NOT HIRE Sun American Builders.

    Energy Green Builders
Energy Green Builders did a wonderful job in remodeling our house.  The work they did was impeccable. We found them professional and congenial and capable of keeping their word by
staying on schedule and budget.   Owners,Ron and Ezra are delightful to work with, knowledgeable gentlemen who are flexible and capable of making the necessary adjustments when the situation calls for a change.  Energy Green Builders renovated both our master and guest bathroom and painted the entire interior of our house, including doors and trim.  They did custom renovation work to our kitchen as well, taking care to leave the best parts of the original plan while giving us needed access to additional storage.  They were able to identify and repair several electrical problems, which gave the kitchen and bathroom added functionality.  The paint job they did was just superb.  They first carefully covered all the walls, floors, and furniture and the filled cracks so the walls were back to their original form.  They took their time taping
so that the paint lines were distinctive. They used two coats of the Benjamin Moore Aura paint, which gave the walls luminosity and incredible depth.   When our color choice for paint in one room didn?t work as we had hoped, Ron and Ezra told us it was no problem and covered the walls with the new chosen color.  Their crew was punctual every day they came and worked hard throughout the day. They were respectful and took great care to protect our art, furniture
and maple flooring.  Pricing was incredibly fair, and the work was done on time.
We?ve had different contractors do different work over the years.   But this was absolutely the best experience we had.   We recommend them highly.

    Guzman Contractors
I picked Carlos from Angie's List. He gave a fair quote. As we started the work, we found more damage. Carlos worked with me and my insurance company to get them to pay forabout halfof the work, as it was covered. His crew was professional and prompt. He did a great job being flexible withadded work and with the schedule changes. I was happy with the work and with the price I paid. He has checked on my to see how the work is holding up and see if I have any questions. I will call him again when I have work that's too big for me to handle. Tom

    Hanlon Construction, Inc.
The overall project went very smooth, on budget (competitive priced), on time, and to our fullest satisfaction. We "shopped" around for different contractors, so I did my "homework"... Mark is very pleasant to work with, responsive and takes ownership and pride in the services he provides. He is also "easy" to talk to and knows how to explain what he does (rather than simply say it costs XXX and that's it). He gave a breakdown of the costs associated with the project and was willing/able to work within our financial constraints.
We are very happy with Mark  and his team and we do plan to do some more remodeling work with Mark sometimes next year. If you look for a professional guy, that listens to his clients and works with them to find the best solution for them (not him), you should talk to him.
    A very happy customer.

    Frank Wiegers Handyman
Frank and his partner, Ernesto, showed up on time and worked very fast.  These guys are like dynamos. You tell them what needs to get done and they do it well and fast!  They know their fields well and are very resourceful. Nothing is even remotely a problem for them. Frank has a diverse background including a career in engineering - all of which lends to his excellence on these types of job.  He is friendly, professional and very, very competent. Frank is my new go to person when it comes to getting things fixed or done around the house.

    SOD Builders
They did a great job. The bedroom looks like new. They just came and id the job like I expected them to. It was a bigger job so there’s a lot more at risk and it’s a little more complicated and they did what they’re supposed to do and did it in the time that they said they would get the job done so I was pleased.

    Preferred Home Builders Inc
They drywalled it, plastered and painted not to my satisfaction. The owners were kind enough to send out a painter and plasterer and did it to my satisfaction and offered a discount on final payment.

    CMRS Construction
The email response was great. Liza was always getting back to me way after business hours with answers to questions. I was not available to be home when the work was performed, but I had a friend there. Liza came to my home and scouted the work and when he guy was there to perform the needed the duties she was already to brief him and get him started. They have been very pleasant to deal with over the phone, via email, and as I'm told in person! I saw the work when I came home and was very pleased with the quality of the work performed right down to having match the textured paint job. I am keeping this company in my address book for referrals and any possible future work.
