  • I have an extended warranty for my car and in order to maintain the car so that the warranty continues and isn't voided I'm choosing to go with the dealership.

    Professional and courteous, not always the most customer friendly and when I say that you sometimes get the sense that because they are a dealer and the business is sort of built in they don't have to try very hard to please.

  • This was under warranty and I had told them about the warranty and they had a copy of the the warranty and did nothing with it for two days until I called them and then I was told that I would have to pay for the repair and then I said well have you talked to the warranty company are they going to cover it and then they said which warranty and I said well the warranty were I gave you a copy and where you have an eight hundred number to call them and they had misplaced it so I send them to my car and have them retrieve another copy and it took a very very long time for them to do that and they got back to me the next day all the while I had to figure out transportation because they were not able to do what other company that I've worked with, other repair shop were able to in a couple of hours and then I had asked them to retrieve a number a code for me and they wanted to charge me  ninety nine dollars which I later found out was completely unnecessary when I googled out to retrieve that number you can actually just look under the dash and there is a default setting and number from the manufacturer that you can go to, so trying to charge me ninety nine dollars for that was not okay.

  • No complaints. Nichole provided a quote immediately. Within a couple of days she had located a driver (and she responded when I asked questions). The driver picked up in the window he said he would with appropriate warning and delivered similarly. Car was undamaged. I hope not to have to ship a car again but that's how I assume it's supposed to go.

  • The car is out of warranty. I take it there because that's where my wife likes to take it. It's a dealership. Nobody is happy with dealerships. You're always paranoid that they're ripping you off and you have no control over it. I wouldn't take it there if my wife didn't take it there. I haven't found a reputable mechanic that's any better unfortunately. They're very responsive. They left some fasteners out. When I pointed out the fact that it was missing a bunch of fasteners on the front end, which they had been working on, they go, "Oh, wow, well here." Then, they open a door full of an odd collection of fasteners that obviously had been left out of other people's cars and they said, "Well, which ones here work for you? I go, "I don't know. Let me see." I wound up putting the fasteners in, while I was still there at the dealership.

  • I called on a Saturday and was able to schedule an appointment the following Monday afternoon. The person on the phone was courteous and listened carefully.
    The technician called a few minutes before arriving (which I had requested when scheduling the appointment). He arrived on time, on the early side of a 3 hour appointment window. He checked some settings, asked some questions, and hunted around the house for the exhaust to our dryer vent. It was located in an awkward place, but he eventually got to it, reached in, and found that it was clogged and the most likely reason for the problems. He then explained the problem clearly and suggested we have the vents cleaned (they don't do vent cleaning) and offered that they would come back for free (within 30 days) if that doesn't fix the problem.
    He was friendly and courteous and did not try to upsell or find other issues. He was also willing to talk about an unrelated refrigerator problem that we've been having. If our existing warranty service doesn't fix the refrigerator problem, I'll definitely be calling Lerman again to just pay them to fix it. The price was great, especially considering that the $70 service fee was fully covered by purchasing the $35 deal on Angie's List and there was no additional charge beyond the $35 I paid. Even at $70, seems like a fair price. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

  • My sister's car broke down on her drive back home to San Jose from visiting me in LA. I quickly checked Angie's List for some options, suggested Morris Automotive based on the reviews and she had her car towed there (only a few miles from where the car died, thankfully). Before she even arrived at the shop, the Morris associates spoke to her via phone kindly and professionally and did not talk down to her. The diagnosis took a few hours given the problem, but it was done effectively and efficiently. They completed the work on the timeline they promised and she was back on the road the next morning. Given that it was a holiday week, the story could have ended very differently. We were all very happy with the communication as well. The shop called and gave her updates during the diagnosis and let her know every step along the way what they planned to do next. The customer service was excellent.

  • I took my car there because my CEL went on. It was my first time there . Very welcoming and friendly staff. They quickly scanned my car with the computer and identified the problem. Velademir explained to me what exactly was wrong with my car and what needed to be done .

  • My husband had several big scrapes, dings, scratches and dents on his BMW mostly due to his very small parking space at work.
     
    He took it to several other auto body repair shops and received quotes but hadn't had the work done yet. While he was out of town I took his BMW by P&C Autobody and received a quote from Pete the owner. P&C's quote was the best by far saving us hundreds of dollars, while including stuff that the others hadn't. So I had them start the work the next day.
    My husband is rather fussy about his BMW especially since it is a complicated car with many electronic sensors and computerized gadgets. I told my husband I took it somewhere else when he came back and he asked are you sure they work on high end cars, my answer... of course they do...
    Well we picked it up and every scratch, ding and even the big dent on the back bumper could not be detected. It looked brand new. And the owner Pete was professional and a real pleasure to deal with, I can't say enough about him. I tend to be mistrusting of mechanics in general but I left P&C Autobody feeling that I got a fair price with great work and attention to detail. A mechanic by the name of Pan worked on our car and when we picked the BMW up he was enthusiastic to show us how good it looked, you could tell he took pride in his work. He told us to come back in two weeks and he would include an added waxing.
    We will definitely recommend P&C AutoBody Shop to our friends, I was told they also do maintenance and service repairs too in addition to bodywork, we will come back again without hesitation (just hopefully not too soon, if you know what I mean.......)

  • When we picked up the car and drove it home the problem still persisted. We called back to complain and spoke with Richard,the service manager. He claimed that the problem had been fixed with a software upgrade. He said that the car was still lurching because the new software would take several hundred miles of driving to get used to how i drove. Obviously, this is a ridiculous explanation. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and received a call back from a customer service rep at Hornburg Jaguar. I told her the explanation i had been given and she agreed that it didn't make any sense and she would speak with her manager....Richard. When I told her that Richard was the one who told me the software story, she said that she couldn't say anymore and would have Richard get back to me. He never did.
