    Okay, this is the absolute best moving group I can even imagine.  They have been working with me since last fall.  I had several locations and varied moving needs going on.  At this point, I'm going to miss them when I'm finished moving which will be in July.

    Since the money has been handed over, none of the rent checks have been deposited into my account.  This has been going on for at least 2 months, and I have reached out to Julie many times to find out where the checks are, and why they have not been deposited.  Every time I spoke with her, she deflected my questions, and never had a good answer as to why the money was not taken care of.  At this point, I am very afraid that I have lost the $10,000 that was handed over to her in trust that, so she would take care of it for me.

    They arrived on time.  I had already moved some items to allow access to the things I wanted moved.  They did the rest, and replaced the items in an organized fashion to allow access to the things left in the storage unit.  They followed me to our home, and move things around to house to make room for the items from the unit.  We wanted to rearrange our bedrooms, and the moved the beds, mattresses. and dressers to their new locations.  Everything went well.  We used another company in Sacramento recently, also on Angie's list, but our sister-in-law made the arrangements.  There was no comparison.   Both men from Best Way Movers worked and were very efficient.  The other company had two men also.  The bigger one, the "boss", did little if anything, while the smaller man did all the work.  I would not use the other company again if you paid me.
    I would recommend Best Way Movers, without hesitation.

    They used 2 "bobcat" trucks with 5 men.  They took their short required breaks in the a.m. and p.m.  After they finished loading up, they broke for lunch, telling me  they were going to a McDonald's on the way and to expect them at the destination in an hour.  On my way to the destination, I passed that McDonald's and, indeed, the trucks were parked there.
    Although I haven't yet unpacked all my boxes, so far everything has arrived in perfect condition, except for a small nick on the corner of an end table.  Having experienced other less careful movers in the past, I consider this a minor thing. 
    They quoted me a "not to exceed" price, estimating 9 hours for the move.  The contract says that I would be charged extra  for any extra services requested, if it went over 9 hours.  Because I did ask them to place felt on the feet of my furniture, the move took 10 hours, so I paid them for one extra hour of labor, which I was happy to do.
    The men arrived on time with their trucks, were courteous and good-natured throughout the move, even while pushing heavy things up a steep walkway.  I found California Moving Systems on Angie's List, and agree with those before me who have given them a high rating.  I would definitely hire them again.

    WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!
    I had received a quote from Customer Rep, Kameliya, on July 12th for a move of our family's household contents to our new home only located 7 miles away from our current residence. I received confirmation, both verbal and written, that our move was set for August 1st, 2012. The day prior to our move, I called Kameliya again to confirm all arrangements were in place. She concurred indicating the crew would be arriving between 7am & 9am the next morning. Day of the move, I had to call the office at 9:30am as the crew had not arrived nor had I received a courtesy call explaining the late arrival. Only then did I learn that the dispatch had overbooked their crews for that day and that I would have to wait for the next business day!! Unbelievable!!! I had made these arrangements weeks ahead of time and confirmed our status the day prior. Our house was entirely packed!! 
    So......after a few calls to our customer rep, she forwarded me to the dispatch supervisor who was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. He basically told me that HE was not sending a crew and that I WOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. The
    earliest that he would send out a crew would be the next day. Furious, I contacted a senior manager within their Customer Service Department, who assured me that she was researching the matter and that a crew would be on-site as promise. Well.....needless to say, I never heard back from the manager or any of their representatives. 
    Finally, I made one last call to cancel our contract and advise their management team that they would be reimbursing us for our hotel accommodations for that evening.

    The overall process went extremely well, from initial inspection through completion of the repair work.
    Over and above the actual repair work, everyone associated with the company was professional. Everything was explained in advance. The two men on sight were punctual and hard-working and did high quality work (they even matched the paint on our outside stucco perfectly when they were through with the repair). And they cleaned up each day so the work had less impact on us.
    Matt communicated with us throughout the experience so there were no surprises. The result was a feeling of confidence that the work was being supervised and performed as required with no delays or mistakes. We would highly recommend Foothill Property Services for both pest inspection and home repair work.

    He was extremely professional, and very efficient. He had the attitude we appreciate in service providers: The right balance of respect and friendliness. He provided a detailed estimate based on approximate weight. He worked with us to find the best approach that would save us money. We could see that Peter has a lot of experience in the whole moving process. He is also responsive through emails, and returns our calls within a short time.

    The saleman came and estimated the moving charges and reviewed their company's proceedure. The workers were paid by the hour. When moving day came, three men showed up promptly. No supervisor showed and there was little organization. We kept telling them to slow down and think. However, they just kept going in 3 separate directions. They ran out of their extremely worn moving blankets and we loaned them some of ours, which were much better and heavier. Items were not protected properly and patio furniture was loaded on top of boxes and inside furnishings. Unloading was even more disorganized to the point we told them to stop and get organized several times before they did more damage to the house and furnishings. They worked slowly for a bit and then back to the fast and unorganized pace. There was some damage done to almost every item of furniture. Some of the cardboard boxes and file boxes were damaged and crushed.One dresser was badly damaged and the company was to come back and repair it. They called twice: one time for measurements and the other to say they would be here after the hoidays. Five months and we are still waiting. We also found a few roaches on boxes. Since this was a newly built home and there were no roaches in the previous home, we can only assume they were in the moving blankets or moving truck. Fortunately no others appeared. All in all, we were glad for the experience to end as it was not a pleasant one.

    Billy Rad was a god-send to me. He is the epitome of professionalism. I appreciate so many qualities about Billy: his high attention to detail, knowledge of the real estate business and especially his awesome customer service. He always promptly returned phone calls/emails and kept me informed of the status of my transaction. My case was especially challenging with dealing with the mortgage broker.
