    McDonald, Dr. Shawn
    I do not plan to use him again actually. They are just unfriendly, overpriced, and not helpful. There is an attitude issue. There was not a huge wait, but it is just the overall cockiness and unfriendliness. Nobody is very friendly there. Dr. McDonald is friendly but his staff is not. It is just a money-making machine there.

    Compare Dr. John Meehan Jr.
    His bedside manner is okay. His communication is my biggest issue. I would use him again for the time being. The thing he could do differently is to respond to my request for communication. I do not get call backs about my concerns. There is just no response to multiple calls and that continues to this day.

    Unfortunately, I would have to use them again because of insurance reasons. They could provide better customer service and the attitude of the person on the phone was not too great either. I have to wait on hold for quite a while.

    Only saw optician.  Exam was in busy room with lots of staff traffic and cross conversations.  Staff exchanged info that the doctor did not want to accept anymore diabetic patients.  Selecting new glasses was fair experience although again there was not much privacy.  Glasses are okay.  Did scratch easy and the transition coating too dark too sensitive.  Do not want to return.

    had appointments over a couple of months in 2014 and one appointment in spring 2015.  was reasonable - the doctor zeroed in on my neck and did not address the rest of my complaints - did eventually improve neck issue some.  but there was some irritation on dr's part when I would bring up shoulder or back pain as if I hadn't brought it up before.  after my one return trip this year I realized that I did not feel particularly positive about the treatment -lots of little things - they are professionally nice and courteous but there is little eye contact and few hellos when you pass staff in the hallways - environment not comfortable although it is phycically nice..  .  found a much less fancy clinic where treatment addressed all my issues, well, planned and I knew exactly what was being done. what could be done and what could not, and what to expect. and the staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive rather than just professionally welcoming.  they have a good reputation but wasn't a good fit for me..

    I have lots of friends that go to him because he is good. They are very thorough and they have state of the art equipment. They are all very pleasant and mostly very knowledgeable. For oral surgery he refers you to an oral surgeon. My husband has some stuff done and the people he referred him to were very good.

    Kauffman, Dr. Jeffrey D.
    FYI - Dr. Jeffrey Kauffman has passed away.  Do not know details.  But just in case you want to see him.  Not sure why his profile is still up. He will be greatly missed.  I understand he helped a lot of people.  RPI Dr. Kauffman.

    Richard Jergensen, DDS
    He did a good job on the front tooth. He took xrays and found a couple of cavities he said needed to be filled so we booked another appointment to do those in one more visit. They were small cavities. Then, like most dentists will, he tried to sell me on other dental work (implant in a space left by extracted molar etc) which I neither could afford or wanted. He said I still needed some work done but I informed him I could not afford any more work until I paid this off first.

    He keeps his office very cold and I was shivering and cold the entire visit. They offered a thin sheet blanket which didn't help much. I complained about the cold but he said and quot; that's the way I like it.and quot;

    My major complaint with this dental practice is that I phoned around town looking for a dentist who would allow me to use my Care Credit card for my bill. Care Credit is a company who lets people with good credit charge their medical and dental bills and make payments interest free, enabling people like me who are on social security to pay off our doctors without incurring high interest fees. Dr. Jergensen's receptionist assured me that they do accept Care Credit. It was not until after all my dental work was done and I had a bill of $1200 for the chipped tooth and two cavities, that I was told I could not use my Care Credit. They said they would finance the charges with interest, I presumed. I was shocked and very unhappy. I kicked up a fuss. The Bookkeeper finally agreed to put half my bill onto the Care Credit card as she tried to tell me that was all that was allowable but I've used Care Credit many times and I've put more than $1200 on the card before so I know it WAS allowable. She then said after I paid off the first half of the bill, she would 'consider transferring the balance I owe them onto the same credit card. I didn't like this arrangement because it left me hanging. I didn't feel at all confident that they were going to actually transfer my balance to the Care Credit card in the future. I now have one payment left on the Care Credit balance and then I have to go back to the dentists bookkeeper and negotiate getting the rest of my bill put onto the card, interest free, and I am not looking forward to this. It' has created anxiety for me and I feel I was manipulated from the onset. Had I known about the Care Credit card problem with them, I would never have gone to this dentist in the first place. That's why I called different dentists looking for the one who would honor the Care Credit card. The whole experience has ruined their credibility with me and I cannot see myself going back to this dentist. for dental work. The rest of his staff seemed to be nice caring people and Dr. Jergensen is probably a good dentist but if you decide to try him out, wear a sweatshirt or you will freeze to death. Everything here is just MY opinion about this practice based on my experience and doesn't necessarily reflect the experience you might have if you go to this dentist.

    I was in to see him six months ago and that was my first and only visit to him. He was a typical dentist, who is trying to sell you all kinds of dental work that you do not need and his office was cold as ice. He did not apologize, he just said that is the way he likes it. So, I was not crazy about him and I do not think I will go back. He is available. Regarding office environment, nice people work for him.

    Doctor was extremely nice and thorough was given prescription and told to fill immediately, which I did, I was diagnosed with Shingles, however was waiting for lab results since I had been subjected to other issues and was never in office while still active enough to request lab results. I made a special trip twice to office for lab results, both times staff was indifferent and said that the doctor wasn;t available and would call me?? both occasions I informed them that I wasn;t asking to see doctor wanted my results, also was in wedding that same month wanted information other than what I could find online, didn;t want to go too a wedding with children if I was small pox?? no one could answer, several weeks after another appointment, was told there were no lab results?? that doctor knew it was a classic case of shingles?? the sample was left on counter and never sent too lab??? I am on medicare if office and lab have a problem with that maybe they shouldn;t take patients, I was billed additional 70 dollars which took far too long?? since I always asked if co payment was required? So I am billed 70 additional even though they lost the lab sample?? I realy liked the doctor and no would never go back, this is how medicate patients are treated???
