I wrote a review here on Angie's list and left it at that thinking that's all would happen. Within a few days I was contacted by owner of the Precision Garage Doors who was extremely apologetic and wanted to help me out however possible to, "make the situation right." I must say how surprised I was to hear from Mr. Hanson and how sorry he was that I had an experience that was less than favorable. He's gone out of his way to make the situation "right" and we need more businessmen like this gentlemen. I would without hesitation recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to all my friends and family, and if it were possible, I'd ask Angie's list to politely remove my earlier issue and replace it with this one. One of the neighbors they went and charged like $400 and then one of the neighbors they did overcharge but they found out what they had charged me, so they, of course, were able to get some of their money back. AOne day we noticed a musty smell in our bathroom. Behind the toilet the baseboard was discoloring and rotting out. We called our insurance company and the leak had damaged the wall and floor. The insurance company gave us a list of contractors to call. We called three of them left messages and waited. Well we didn’t have to wait long for Berry Construction. Randy called us back almost immediately. He was caring, empathetic, professional and explained the whole process from start to finish. We were very happy with Mike, Billy and the entire staff. We had open communication through the whole process, and they did an amazing job making us whole again. ARecently had Mega Power Electric Inc install solar panels and upgrade my electrical panel. I had multiple quotes for this job and I chose Simply because their price was reasonable, and they have been around for many years. Our consultant, was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining how the system would work and answering all my questions. DThe Good: our cat is doing much better, thank you. And the bill was several hundred dollars less than our previous vet would have charged. The Bad: despite promises to call “in an hour or two”, after 6 hours we called & were told that the vet had diagnosed our cat with stomatitis & had pulled almost all of her teeth. And that we owed them $900. The Ugly: as instructed, we arrived promptly at 5pm and called them from the parking lot. An hour later, all of the other customers had left & I saw the staff starting to drive off. I beat on the front door & found out that they had totally forgotten us. They also forgot to give our cat the 72 hour pain relief injection that they had promised. And we were completely unable to effectively administer the oral pain killers that they had provided (try putting meds in a cat’s cheek after major dental work). Our cat was in severe pain for 36 hours until Dr. Bell got around to calling us back & provided meds we could put in her food. It has been a real challenge to convey this story without using profanity. AVOID.

FThey sent a technician that looked like a young boy to fix the garage keypad malfunction. All of a sudden the pad started working and he could not tell me why. I demanded to know the reason, so that I will be able to troubleshoot or prevent this kind of issues. He refused to do that and I had to pay him. Now the amount they want for a visit doubled. And the same issue kept happening with some variations. Now the remote is malfunctioning and the garage opening and closing mechanism is unreliable and difficult to set as well. That is the one that is operating with the use of the hanging rope. Door Mart refuses to address that with me over the phone and answer a couple questions before I call their technician. They demand a visit. I always try to troubleshoot it before a costly visit. They told me that since the garage door was installed 3 years ago, they are not obligated to talk to me. But isn't it just good business to answer some simple questions? They told me to call another garage door company for questions. And my answer was why should I. They are not the ones that had installed my garage door. Also the person that had installed my door did that in a hurry. He told me he wanted to avoid a rush traffic. He left a few wires hanging out in the motor area so it was unsightly. I would not hire someone that cannot deal with loose ends after their product is installed. After any installation there can be issues.
