    We told them we lived out of town but would make a special trip so we could get our refrigerator repaired. We scheduled the visit three weeks in advance. We had a time of 8 am to noon. Around 10 am we get a all they cannot make the visit they are overbooked for the day. They did not even want to discuss the fact this was scheduled way in advance and the 6 hour trip we made just to get this fixed. They hung up the phone on us.

    Patrick's Plumbing And Appliance Repair
    Patrick's very courteous wife, Carrie, took my call, said they were in the neighborhood, and came by within about 15 minutes. It took Patrick about 10 minutes to find that the relay and a bracket had come loose during the move. Patrick reassembled the parts, cleaned out the compartment below the fridge, and had it running within an 50 minutes of my phone call. Could not ask for better service. Cost of the call was labor only/emergency call.

    Sears Appliance Repair
    Sears warranty is worse than useless. I purchased a water heater here. I bought the one with the longest warranty which is 12 years, so that I would not have to worry about a repair anytime in the near future. After 4 years, my Kenmore water heater started gushing water. After calling the service number, it took 3 more days for a repair person to come. When that person did come (showing up late after I had already waited 4 hours) he told me a repair part was necessary and that he would "expedite" the ordering. Well, if expedite means that it will come a week later, then I guess he did. Has anyone heard of FedEx? In the meantime, I was without how water for 10 days. I talked to the service people (who by the way are based in Manila) and to the store manager multiple times to ask for a faster resolution. The answer I uniformly got was "I do not have the authority to help you with that." I probably made a dozen calls. At one point the hold was so long I gave up. I could not wait any longer, and paid a local plumber to install a new water heater. It was worth $1000 to get rid of that appliance and all of the bad karma from Sears. Sears, shame on you.

    Patrick's Plumbing And Appliance Repair
    When you call them, a real person answers the phone! Patrick's wife, Carrie, answers the phone and is very pleasant and schedules a time for Patrick to come out. I've never had to wait more than a few hours! Sometimes Carrie comes out as well. They are both very friendly and pleasant as well as professional.
    Patrick seems to know all about different appliances, has the tools and knows where to get whatever else might be needed. He is fast and efficient. He also cleans up any mess that he may have made doing the repairs which I certainly appreciate too!
    Thanks to the 3:1 service my disposal is now working. I have another burner on my stove to use.  I have a nice ice maker instead having to use those ancient ice cube trays.
    My cats even liked them and they took time to notice them and pet them too!

    What a blessing! I not only will call them again but plan on passing their excellent service on to family and friends! In this day and age where service is not only hard to get but often you are left confused, taken advantage of, swindled or even given the feeling you were lucky to have been graced by their presence! But...Moon Appliance Service was a breath of fresh air!!!

    Last weekend I discovered a small load of laundry hadn't gone through the wring cycle. I tried to re-set the machine and try it again and discovered the problem. I remembered that I had the machine repaired once before, a few years ago, for the same thing. Back then the repairman said the washer was a great design, simple to work on but that the and quot;couplerand quot; was the weakest part, by design unfortunately. He had said that the washer would last many more years and it did. I had a feeling that this part had broken again. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the receipt for that repair in my files in order to call him again.

    I called Moon Appliance on 11-6-14 asking if I could make an appointment for the following day, she (Mrs. Moon!:) said, and quot;Sure!and quot; Seriously, where can you get next-day service for a $65.00 service fee? Bob arrived on time, was pleasant, articulate, and worked neatly. He guessed the problem, said he had the part on the truck and told me approximately what it would cost me. He removed the old part and showed me where it had broken. It was the very same part which had broken before.

    He then showed me the new part and also showed me a section which had been re-designed with metal instead of plastic so should last much longer! He didn't need to take his time to show me this but I'm glad he did and he did reiterate what the prior repairman said, that my machine was a solid, well-made workhorse that'll last at least another 10 years!!! Happy Me!

    I called them to repair refrigerator. Toby came several times to fix the issue, because the manufacturer was sending wrong, faulty parts to him. He did not charge extra for those trips. He tried very hard to fix the issue even though it was design flaw by manufacturer. Very polite guy, listens to costumer needs.

    I was given a time frame for arrival of 2-4 pm. Joe showed up at 2pm.He was friendly and professional and had the problem figured out in about 5 minutes. He provided me with good information about my current appliances and advice for future purchases. He even took time to look at another appliance I was having a minor issue with, and told me not to worry about the issue, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! I will be using PEOPLE's CHOICE for all my appliance repairs. Joe erred my total confidence, my business, and any and all referrals I can make.

    They were prompt and very responsive. We had purchased the trash compactor through Idler's and did not have a positive experience so we were looking for an alternative for repairs. Initially, two service people came out and assessed the compactor and then they ordered the part and set an appt. shortly after to install it. I would definitely use them again.

    failed  twice while previously IN warranty. When the refrigerator subsequently failed just after the dishwasher died, we beat feet and went to Sears to purchase two new appliances. Two-year-old appliances should not have to be replaced unless they are cheaply made and woefully maintained, and that was not the case in these instances.

    We had a unique problem with our oven. Rather than charge me to come to
    my home for an evaluation, Moon appliance called me, asked me a series
    of questions -- trying to troubleshoot our unusual problem. We gave him
    information, he researched our problem on line, again called me back a
    few days later with a solution. We scheduled a time for the repair, he
    showed up within the time range he gave us, fixed the problem, and was
    on him way in no time. He did a great job.
