Welcome Home Landscape & Lawn Care
Emily and Ken did a wonderful job! Our gardens look beautiful and a pleasure to enjoy now. They were very easy to work with and communicated frequently in person and via email about the work. They are coming now on a monthly basis for maintenance and to continue some of the work as necessary. We are very happy with the project and recommend them highly.

    Reed Landscape Studios
The owner, Christie Reed, is very casual with business details. I decided on a solid drainage line from the back of my driveway to the street, about 95 ft. sloped 3/16" per ft. The work was drastically sub parr. She illegally started digging before PG&E came out and marked the gas line. Her crew of six dug the trench then connected the pipe while others installed the drain box and others back filled the trench even while the pipe was still being connected. I noticed the drain box was installed 2 inches higher than the driveway so the water would not flow into the box until a ten foot pool formed. Her crew lowered the box below the driveway. They were in a rush to get to another job. The next day I checked the drain box, it was 2-3 inches lower than the driveway which was only three feet away. This would make a concrete ditch in the walkway. The box was also tilted 1 inch in 12 inches side to side. I pulled out the drain box. The holes they drilled in the corners of the box so as not to have standing water were drilled of the side corners an inch from the bottom. I drilled holes in the bottom corners, raised and leveled it. I then measured the slope of the installed pipe. It was less than 1/8"/ft. with a section that went uphill and two sections virtually flat. They came back out and dug up the pipe and I acted as their Q.C. guy as as they tried to make a 3/16 per ft. slope. One guy said they were making a 1" in 10 ft slope, another crew guy said 1-1/2" per 10 ft slope, both notions were less than the 3/16"/ft. contract slope. They didnt have clear or correct instructions. Christie came back to the job site. Then they had to adjust the downspout inlet pipes to be closer to the wall. I was lied to about why the couldn't be closer to the wall. They told me the foundation concrete was in the way. This was a bold faced lie as these same inlets were correct on their first installation and my foundation, where this occurred, has no footings being the 1912 battered style. They just didn't want to do the work. On the inlets, they used one 90 degree couplings instead of two 45 degree couplings making maintenance difficult to impossible. I wanted a concrete box, Christie said couldn't get one and said it would be cheaper to use plastic; Her bill was no cheaper with the plastic box. I asked for a discount since I was working as her Q.C. person. Christie said no, she would make less money. When they finished I said to Christie "At least you will not have to come back here" She said "If we do, we'll have to bury you in the trench." By threatening death, she is acting like Trump. Picture shows the Drain Slope measurement of first installed pipe with gauge sticks about 15 ft. apart. I have photographs of the bad work.

    D. Garcia's Gardening
He and his crew did a beautiful job. They were very efficient. I had a French drain put in, a new rock wall built, sprinkler and drip system throughout, and many trees and plants. I also put in a swing and extended my fence. It's wonderful and magical.

It was a big job and Lee was terrific. The pricing was very competitive. They were very thorough and informative. On time everyday. It was overall excellent and I couldn't ask for a better experience.

    Fire Safety Clearing
He came over when he said he was going to. We agreed on a number I was working on a budget so couldn't afford to do the whole yard but the blackberry bushes was my main concern. He worked really quickly, but still did a fabulous job. Because he was so fast, he ended up finishing the whole yard for me!

    Rosa's Maintenance, Inc.
They did a great job. They managed their time well to make sure my priorities for the garden were met and they completed the work I requested and then some! Best of all, they were good communicators on the progress of the project. I work in a similar industry and know that is a valuable part of great service. I would hire them again for other projects.

    Oakland Hills Brush Clearing
I don't have the average backyard, so the estimate was reasonable. When I first met Richard I definitely appreciated the botanical advice in what type of brush I was dealing with. They did an amazing job. I hired them before, and I was happy to use them again. They are courteous, professional, accommodating, and on time.

    Ramon Rosas Professional Landscaping Maintenance

Ramon is very good for our needs. We don't have complicated foliage around our home, so I don't know how he would do with that--but we have no complaints. He's punctual and thorough.

He has also helped us clear weeds around the house for our fire clearance and hauled it away. We were happy with this.

    Efren's Landscaping
Received a referral from a neighbor who had his driveway berm repaired. The berm serves to channel rainwater coming off the street away from the driveway. The driveway berm at the site location was 20+ years old and in the process of falling apart. Needed a contractor to replace it. Also, parked cars on the street were parking on the landscaping adjacent to the street. The berm along the landscaping acted like a curb.
Efren spent 3 days removing the old berm and installed a new one. The asphalt needed several days to harden before vehicles could drive over it. He also compacted the asphalt and shaped the material to make it easier to driver over. Efren suggest to use large landscape rocks in addition to the berm to protect the adjacent landscaping from parked cars, which was a great idea!

    Ramon Rosas Professional Landscaping Maintenance
Tree trimming was much more expertly done than the last person I used. The sprinkler system needed extensive repairs, parts replaced, heads changed, etc. I will definitely use him again for other work.
