    Lots of Love Pet Care
More importantly, I had given Lynn a key to the house for future sittings- Boy did it come in handy- We had a Doctor's appointment and put the dogs in their crates (as usual when we go out)- My husband was rushed from the Doctor's office into surgery at 5pm- a panic call to Lynn and she went right over and took care of the animals for me. It was a relief as I couldn't leave ICU to tend to them.

    Marie Bymaster The DogMaster
Marie came to my home and had a meeting with me, my roommate and our dogs. Marie is extremely knowledgeable. As a petsitter and someone who has been involved with dogs all my life, I felt that I knew quite a bit about dogs and their behavior. Marie came in and started with a review on canine behavior. I have to say I learned a lot from her. It was very interesteing. She told us that it is good for a dog to warn us of possible danger and the fact that Oso barks when the doorbell rings is a good thing. She then said that it was our job to thank him for telling us and to then let him know we had the situation under control because we are the pack leaders. She also showed us how to train all four of our dogs to wait at the foot of the entry so that they would be at a bit of a distance from the front door when the visitor came in. In addition, Marie advised us to have treats on the porch so that when a visitor came inside, they could bring a treat so that Oso would view visitors as a positive experience. Of course, this all took practice and repetition but Oso handles himself perfectly now and I am extremely pleased with Marie's training. Her advise on how to train Oso was right on the money.
As a petsitter, I still call Marie when I am watching a dog with behavior or obedience issues. She has always been able to give me advise that does the trick. For this reason, I also recommend her to my clients.
On a side note, I also know that Marie volunteers her personal time to work with shelter dogs. She goes to the shelter to walk them, love them and to make them more adoptable. She also introduces them to potential families. She has a special connection with dogs as well as true passion and compassion.
I give Marie 5 STARS!! She IS the Best!!!

    Lots of Love Pet Care
I am completely at ease when I leave my dogs in Lynn Westbrook's care. She is bonded, insured and a member of the National Assn. of Professional Pet Sitters. I ask Lynn to take care of my dogs when I am out of town and I am beginning to think they like her more than me. I have one dog that has issues with strangers, as he was not socialized as a puppy and I adopted him when he was 7 months old. He runs to her and runs away from everyone else.

Lynn takes her business and your animals very seriously and professionally. She takes care of many types of animals. In the first meeting, you will get a lot of questions from her as she takes meticulous notes about every aspect of your animal's daily activities and care. You will need to sign some documents if you want to allow Lynn to take a sick animal to your veterinarian in case of an emergency. That was probably the one thing I had not thought of, but it told me she would make sure my dogs were okay.

The first time she sat with them, I received daily activity pictures on my computer. I didn't expect that, either. I give Lynn a high five and my dogs give her five paws. Lynn just recently helped me again (Jan/Feb 2014) with the dogs when I had surgery and could not move one arm for about 3 weeks. The dogs were so well cared for and they couldn't wait for her arrival each morning.

    San Dimas Animal Hospital
I took them there when they were younger, now they are fourteen years old and too old to go that far because it is seven miles away. They took really good care of my dogs. For general services, they are good but when they did the surgery on him, he woke up in the middle of the night screaming of pain because the medications were not enough and I had no way of getting them, then I had to call pet emergency. So, they are great for general uses for the dogs but for surgery, not so much. I don't know if it is common for the dog to wake up but I was horrified. My dogs had arthritis and they gave them Adequan shots and they were the best priced for the shots; it was $15 lesser than other places. The shots were excellent for my dogs and they were good at that. I would use them if I had younger dogs; with my older ones, it is too hard to transport them.

    EAST VALLEY EMERGENCY PET CLINIC
They are open from six in the night up until eight in the morning, during the week. They are topnotch, not only the doctors but the staff there are topnotch. One day, my dog, Tasha didn't respond to me and the vet came over to my house and told me to take her to emergency, so that was really, really nice of him. Tasha had cancer for three months, at the hospital, they showed me that, and it was horrible. The price is always high for vet care.

    Chino Hills Small Animal Hospital
They took him in after they made sure they were going to get paid. My primary objection is the high cost of care that I have since learned was outrageous according to other cat owners and professionals.

Secondly, they failed to inform me that my cat might require overnight care which they could not provide.

When I called in to seek treatment they told me that my cat was very sick and would die without treatment, but didn't tell me that they did not offer overnight or hospital care for sick animals. Then, being unable to provide supposed necessary overnight care they referred me to a rip-off emergency clinic that also charged exorbitant fees including $50 each for 5 "shots," plus duplicate charges for services. It was an expensive nightmare.

I was unable to keep followup appointment due to the high cost of this clinic.

They may be okay for routine care, but I can only wonder how many animals died because the owners could not come up with the outrageous fees charged by this clinic.
